He has a lot of years ahead of him and he will most likely remain in the political arena.. Who do you want as your leaders? A "caught with his hand in the cookie jar and still denied it" person or one who is honest ?? It matters.. although in the last few decades it has not mattered as much as it used to and should matter... My biggest reaction is to how the left pretended the whole situation did not exist and attacked the right for talking about it.. Hummm... quelle surprise .... Not only that, but it shows how well candidates are vetted. How could this have be missed? Or was it covered up? What impact should this have on today's presidential race? How on earth could whoever was looking into Edwards background have missed it? What would make Edwards think that he would be the VERY FIRST candidate whose bedroom antics wouldn't come to light? Then it dawns on them--instead of giving Edwards an opportunity to speak due to his recent admission of a lapse in his marital fidelity, they'll substitute him for their paragon of morality, the 42d President of the United States.
