I have not said I never sin, but I have said that I believe we can get to a point in our spiritual walk that we won't sin or if we do it will be very rarely(as seen on my above posts).

if we do it will be very rarely ?????

The Question here is not that we can progress to a point where we sin very rarely the question put by diministries is.

Is it possible to live a sinless life while on earth?

diministries supports the YES position that we can cease to sin totally. If you say that you may sin rearly then you cannot support diministires stance. you have to vote No.

So please clarify your stance Do you believe you can cease to sin totally in this life on earth??

My main point is that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can become sinless. But yes we need Jesus because acheiving holiness is only possible because of Him.

Nobody here has or will say that we are without sin, because all have sinned.

But we don't have to sin. We only sin because we have evil desires that we give in to.

Remember, the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and to live holy lives TODAY.

That is still in the Bible, right? :t2:

Also, would you say you NEVER get angry, upset or irritated, despite illness, traffic, or stress?

It depends on whether we're talking about "big sins" like homosexuality, fornication, theft, gossip, murder, et al...

Or...sins of ommission, (where you fail to do all that God calls you to do) or you lose your temper or act unkindly or miss an opportunity to witness, etc.

I just wanted to share something I wrote in a different thread a few weeks ago about this. I know Called said something yesterday about it, but still wanted to share this (had to go find it and couldn't find it until this morning!) Cats, this isn't specifically aimed at you, but just a comment.....

To get back to the thread here, I sense there is a question of what sins are "worse" or if there are "levels" to sin, etc. Well, let me share an illustration (from an evangelistic group "OneTimeBlind") I recently heard that gave me some perspective on this.

there are two piles of "poo" in front of you. One is a little puppy pile and the other is a great big elephant pile. Which pile would you rather rub all over yourself? Both seem just as disgusting and repulsive to me. I would rather have NO part of either pile. It is the same way with sin. Just because it may seem like a "little sin" and the sins Hitler commited are far "bigger" doesn't mean that both are disgusting and repulsive in God's sight. Make sense?

It makes sense but I know the difference between changing an infant's diaper and having to change an adult.

Believe me, the difference is NOTABLE! I've changed adult poopy diapers and babies both. The babies never bothered me. It's what mommies do.

Then, when you take care of your OWN mother and change her diaper, it's considerably harder to endure...trust me.

I can put that in context by saying we have many young (infant) Christians who are just barely crawling. They haven't even begun to walk. They're on milk and still saying the "sinner's prayer" when they hear it on television because they don't really grasp the fullness of their salvation.

I'm married to an "infant" Christian who's still on milk. He still says that "prayer" everytime he hears it and still is terribly "fleshly"....and hasn't shown much growth spiritually.

Point: We're all at different places in our walk and some diapers are easier to change that others.

After a while, one hopes a person goes from milk to meat and matures in their walk. Some, however, never seem to learn to grasp even the basic steps.

It's frustrating, too.

SIN: I don't think most people even begin to grasp the depth of sin; it can be something as simple as missing an opportunity to witness.

I'm guilty. Period. I've missed opportunities for fear of rejection or mocking.

So, I can tell you flat out, I do not LIVE a sinless life because of sins of omission.

If I witnessed to everyone I met, I could perhaps be guiltless. If I never grew impatient or lost my temper, I could say I'm perfect and sinless.

Truth is, the longer I live, the more clearly I perceive my own LACK and I consider myself to be a chief of sinners, saved only by the mercy and grace of our Lord and I am LEARNING to become more like Christ. Still, I fall far from being perfect...and know it.

I feel the opposite of you all...the longer I live, the more keenly aware I am of my flesh nature and the more tender and sensitive I am to everything...including sins of omission and sins of comission.

Does anyone see that the 144,000 thousand will be perfect, in Revelation, the scriptures basically say, no bad thing comes out of their mouth, they follow the Lamb whereever He goes, and they are virgins, they have not been defiled with women, meaning they never have relations physically, with any woman, yes they are all men. So we can see there words are perfect, and there actions are perfect, they are the firstfruits of God, they are just like YeHuSHua, they are all of the different tribes of Israel, and they never have a wife, like YeHuSHua never physically had a wife, they are perfect. I would go the the point of saying through YeHuSHua(Jesus), they followed MeSHiaCH their whole lives, meaning they were, will be, and shall forever be sinless, through the MeSHiaCH, through the grace(favor) of ELoHeeM(God, ALLaH, Dios).

Whoa...wait a minute. Are you implying that the saved multitudes are only guys...and we women aren't going to heaven because of our gender?

Explain please? Sorry, I'm not quite getting what you're saying.

Christ has answered this question for us all for all time. He tells us that we will do all things He did. He tells The Father that in the same way He was sent so has He sent us. He told us that we would be made perfect in one with Him, and The Father so that the world will know that they are loved. This is all part of our salvation process, and if we don't believe it possible it will not happen for us. If on the other hand we believe it because He said it, and choose to allow The Holy Spirit to do His work in us, He will put The mind of Christ in us, create a right spirit within us, and transform us into the exact image of Christ while He was here, we will be filled with The Fulness Of The Godhead bodily, and be the new creatures that He intends us to be.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
