Totally agree! The issue is that there is a deep void in the morals department. Even amongst so-called Christians (as this thread shows.) We have one here who admits having friends who participate in illegal drug activity...and another chimes in implying there is nothing wrong with that.

Do you actually believe that poisoning the drug supply is going to deter drug abuse?

The countless tons of drugs that are confiscated each year is a mere drop in the bucket compared to what actually makes it into the hands of the user.

The risk of death would not be a deterrent. The statistics on HIV/AIDS will tell you that. People are willing to take the risk.

You have friends who have children, maybe brothers and sisters who have children, you have your own children. What would happen if they were to fall victim to your little scheme?

Every parent would love to believe that their kids don't do drugs. I'm no different. But you know what? It happens. On Labor Day 2000, I lost my oldest daughter to a drug overdose.

Killing people is not the answer. The threat of death is not the answer. If it were, I'd still have my little girl. She knew what the risks were, but she did it anyway.

As for me not having a backbone, I can live with that. I couldn't live with knowing I killed somebody's kid. Every person who uses drugs is someones child.

You should do a little research. You'll find that this isn't as much of a victory as you think.

You live in a dream world. You have no idea what's out there. You think you do, but you don't.

But you know people are going to continue to use drugs.

The vast majority of people who use drugs buy them from people they don't know. It would be considered a victory if everyone who wanted drugs had to make their own. Of course, it would always help if we had upstanding citizens who had the moral backbone to report people who manufactured their own illegal drugs. But again, we are back to the notion that this country doesn't have what it takes to win this war.

Again...it doesn't take a genius to figure out that if the drug supply is poisoned it will drastically reduce the number of people who take drugs...and it will reduce the number of people who start taking them in the first place. Like I said, even drug lords are smart enough to figure that one out.

They are smart enough to know that, that is how they make their money, they start with the small stuff, giving it away, and once one is hooked, they start increasing it to heavier stuff until a person is totally powerless to do anything about it.... it is the spirit of python, it binds a person up, squeezes the life right out of them, they can no longer survive with out the drugs...

the ingredients used are nothing more then poison, cyrstal meth, nothing but poison going into it, literally poison....

as far as making their own, many of them have started, why? cheaper, they steal the ingredients not even caring about what the stuff is, and causing other health issues, not only with themselves but with the people they are stealing from. they are stealing from farmers, family members, hardware stores, department stores, work, and anywhere else that might have one of the ingredients, even grocery stores.

do i know of people doing this stuff? yes.... one man doing it and selling is on disability, and has been arrested several times and has yet to spend even on full 24 hour day in jail, even making it with in 1000 ft of a school, and he walks around like nothing ever happened (more like waddles) another man doing the same thing (also on disability) three blocks away, ( the other side of the same school) has been busted, but still has not spent much time behind bars, has spent more time cause he has to come up with the money to get out, but serving time? neither of them have......

three of the houses one man owned, one block from a school, less then 1000 feet, we bought when we had the chance, to keep his cronies from moving back into our neighborhood, and some one else bought the other three houses that were just outside the 1000 ft line, again to clean out the neighbor hood, the cops did nothing, even when it was reported to them that they were in the process of cooking, they waited for an hour or so to even drive by.........

sorry, YOU MAKE DRUGS, YOU SELL DRUGS YOU DELIVER THEM, OR WORK FOR SOME ONE THAT IS A KNOWN DEALER, YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOOK FOR A HOUSE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD......

I CALL THE AUTHORITIES AND WILL KEEP CALLING......for the sake of the children.

by the way, i know of several people that know that these drugs are nothing but poison, and yet they still got hooked up in it, one man started out selling it only to make a few bucks, and then got caught up in the use, and then started making his own, and while he was on them, he was out boating and ran over a swimmer, cutting her litterally in two....... he knew the products that were in it, he knew all about it, and yet that still did not keep him from doing it.....

another man, now 25, has been off of it for three years now, cold turkey, he could not do it on his own, only God was able to do it, came to him one night while on a three day high, and told him that he will have to stop using it and serve God or he was going to loose his mind and die..... the man hit the floor with his knees, and sobered up and has not touched the stuff since.

only with God can a person stop using this garbage.

How many people know the ingredeints in cigarettes? quite a few,

how many people know the effects of cigarette smoking? quite a few, i know i did, long before i was ever hooked on them, and I was hooked on them long before i ever lit one up.....

if we hang around the wrong spirits, we get influenced and are placing ourselves into un-needed temptaions.......

Marijuana Production in the United States (2006)

Executive Summary

1) Marijuana is the largest cash crop in the United States, more valuable than corn and wheat

combined. Using conservative price estimates domestic marijuana production has a value of

$35.8 billion. The domestic marijuana crop consists of 56.4 million marijuana plants cultivated

outdoors worth $31.7 billion and 11.7 million plants cultivated indoors worth $4.1 billion.

2) The top ten marijuana producing states are California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Hawaii,

Washington, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama., West Virginia, and Oregon. Five states

(California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Hawaii and Washington) had marijuana crops worth over $1

billion.)

3) Despite intensive eradication efforts domestic marijuana production has increased ten fold

over the last 25 years from 1,000 metric tons (2.2 million pounds) in 1981 to 10,000 metric tons

(22 million pounds) in 2006, according to federal government estimates.

4) Marijuana is the top cash crop in 12 states, one of the top 3 cash crops in 30 states, and one of

the top 5 cash crops in 39 states. The domestic marijuana crop is larger than Cotton in Alabama,

larger than Grapes, Vegetables and Hay combined in California, larger than Peanuts in Georgia,

and larger than Tobacco in both South Carolina and North Carolina.

5) From 2001 to 2005 federal and state eradication programs eradicated an average of 33,033

outdoor cultivation sites per year and an average of 2,701 indoor marijuana grow-rooms per year.

The problem is...and we all know it...there are some people that will go against the repeated warnings against using drugs even after they are told they are poisoned. Thats not the gov'ts fault anymore than it is the fault of a gun manufacturer when someone shoots themselves. An overwhelming number of lives will be saved by winning this war.

Okay, so you would poison the DRUGS....what about addicts who have no control over their habit? You do realize that they would take the drugs anyway because they are slaves to addiction? What about young kids experimenting with drugs for the first time? Maybe yours? Is that outside the realm of possibility?
