Satan's followers walk, talk and dress (even jewelry) like us; how can we tell who is a true christian? :a2:

Ask them to tell you that Jesus came in the flesh and He is Lord of all and Lucifer is defeated. I have not ever had a Luciferian/Satanist repeat this to me.

Somewhat along the lines Sam suggested here -

1 John 4:1-2

1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God

Yep, seems like a pretty good way to me too

In His service,

Bob

I agree with all of the above.

You can also recognize whether someone is truly a Christian or not, if they have love in their hearts and show love for God's people and others.

"By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if we have love one to another" Jn.13:35

Another way to recognize if someone is a true Christian and a follower God's ways is, if they make a practice of obeying all of the ten commandments as well as many other laws of God.

Jesus says, "If you love me, keep my commandments" Jn.14:15

unfortunately i think the churches have followers of Satan in there trying to get us to slip us up..............

but we have to be discerning ......wolves in sheeps clothing......unfortunately they are sneaky and ciniving.... :suspect:

Matt 7:16 "By their fruit you will recognize them;"Fruit of the Spirit"

I dont know if there are lots of us but i can sense when evil spirits are roaming////ugh :x: .....discerning i guess......i also know when i am being attacked ...... :oww:

How can light stand with darkness???each one cannot stand the other.....interestinghuh

and the end to all this is..................

FOR WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES POWERS RULERS OF DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD.....SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS ......

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD SO THAT YOU WILL STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL/........

I dont know if this makes sense but i can sense when a person has demonic influence happening .....its like an uneasy feeling and that is when you just start praying until it leaves ...........

Resist the devil and he will flee

Dear Peach,

Well first off I believe that you would be able to tell by the way the person acts if they truly have God in their life.I also believe that God will help you know this when you really feel unable to tell.I came to a situation kind of like this a few years ago.I was in a walmart and a man walked up to me and started talking casually to me about many different things.I all of the sudden got this overwhelming feel inside almost like someone saying "get away from this man as quickly as possible" and so I did.I found out later that he was a very bad man and was actually put in prison right after our little meeting. So how this ties into how you would know if a person was maybe satanic I truly believe God would give you a feeling like that about someone if maybe this person was trying to harm you or something else.God Bless! ur sis in christ

I agree with Chancer. I think God will help you. I can tell these things in person - on the boards it's a little harder. If I get a strange feeling about someone on the boards, I tend to second-guess myself because I don't trust my feelings because I'm going by text. But in person, I definitely know.

Churches are loaded with people who pray and fellowship, then when they get home, forget God untill the next Sunday...

I can tell what I think is a Christian by the way they drive...LOL

Christians yield and brake and let you in a lane...etc.

People who claim to be saved and yet live their life as if they were equal to God are in for a big surprise...Satan has deceived them...IMHO

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
