This just goes to show that now, more then ever, we as Christians need to be spreading the Gospel. This is also yet another example of how satan will try to keep people from coming to God.

In my opinion, I think we really need to become more active in preaching the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ. Otherwise, its just like we are watching people jump off a cliff and doing nothing about it.

Well the article said parents could "opt out" these classes for their children. It is a little disturbing that not only is creationism not allowed, but now this.

Interesting though....article stated " humanists believe people are responsible for their own destiny and reject the notion of a supernatural force or G-d.

Free choice, or free will ?? Most would admit to this. Personally, I think all humanist beliefs stem from selfishness. Those not being able to accept that a "supernatural force" is responsible for whatever gifts or talents they may have.

I also believe that these are the people that think themselves better than most and therefore appoint themselves as " rulers " over the rest of us. I believe I have met a few people like this and I just really don't care to be around them, I find them very sufficating, as it is nessecary for them to keep those around them ignorant and stagnant, so they can continue to be on top.

I much prefer the freedom granted to me by G-d Almighty.

I'm wondering if this belief is actually "satisfying" to them?

Surely if that's what they believe, then they should see for themselves and honestly admit, that this outlook/way of life is having a detrimental effect on society/mental stability and environment...

Another aspect of this teaching in school is - in the old days it was parents responsibility to teach their children a "faith". Today, children are not being taught even the basics in day to day behaviour let alone faith teaching...

Some folks who simply don't believe in anything - wouldn't even have a conversation with their child regarding meaning to life and now the School Education system has taken a step to "educate" minds while they are still young?

That's a dangerous step.

Actually, worse things are happenning in United States public schools. In many kindergartens, books with the gay agenda is teaching toddlers about one type of family having two parents of the same gender.

In one kindergarten school in my home state, a mother visited the last hour to watch the class her child was in. The teacher got all the children to close their eyes and think of something that disturbed them, and then think of "Barney" (the dinosaur figure), and telling them Barney was their friend and they could talk to him for help when they were afraid and had problems. Needless to say, the visiting mother was quite angry, because clearly she wanted her child coming directly to her with any problems, fears, or what not.

My sister is an elementary school teacher, specializing in reading skills. I caught her with two paperbacks one day she was using for her reading skills class (5th - 6th grade I think). I asked to see them, and she was reluctant to hand them to me. The first was written by a British author and was fiction about a little girl who had been raped while young. I held my breath, and asked to see the other book. The other book was along the same lines, but was about a little boy who had been molested! I calmly, as much as I could, kind of blew up at her, "You know better than to allow such things, we were raised in the Church to know the difference! How could you?", I said. "Did your school assign those books for your reading class?", I asked. She said no, that she was allowed to chose whatever. I then asked why she didn't go to the local library and find something with a little history about the area where these kids live, give them a little respect for the community where they live.

Then, several months later she calls me, and says she got selected along with a few other teachers to attend a seminar in Arizona, and she was excited, because it meant a mini vacation. I then learned she was not forced to select those two books, but that they were on a list given her as possibles. It became obvious that the seminar was her reward for following the school's suggested possibles. To me though, that's the school system bribing the teachers to follow humanist socialism.

So far (at my school at least -) I haven't seen material of that nature pass over the desk.

Honestly, that's "two year old psychology" and is one of the sillier things I've heard this year!!

See, the "safe gaurd" with the Education Board is that many students unfortunately experience these awful situations. They are a common reality to alot of children and it's on those terms that these books are "allowed" to be kept on school grounds. The awful sign of the times....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
