  2. There's quite a long sentence, 9 verses, which leads to a description of the church being both the body of Christ and the fullness of Christ. I've just quoted the last 5 verses here: Eph 1:19-23 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength (20) which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead, and He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, (21) far above all principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name being named, not only in this world, but also in the coming age. (22) And He has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, (23) which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Another long sentence further on in Ephesians repeats the description of the body of Christ being synonymous with His fullness: Eph 4:13-16 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (14) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, (15) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— (16) from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. I like to see spiritual growth taking place as members of the body of Christ work together to build it up. It's exactly midnight here. Full moon tomorrow and La la land for me now as I go to sleep thinking about the fullness of Christ and all His sheep.
  3. vs 12 as you interpreted to be for "believerrs in a local assembly for works of service is your interpretation. Scripture did not say this. When you become a believer and see what grace has done for you, it is an inate thing to tell the world and not keep it inside. Some has even been burnt to the stake and has their live forfieted for speading the gospel. Take for example , William Tyndale, the man who gave his whole life and was killed for transalating the bible into english. Your post is not edifying to the body IMO. It is a topic that you are free to discuss, but I see no use in it's inspection. Go tell it on the mountain, that Jesus Christ is Lord.
  4. "I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily." - Paul the apostle out of time.
  5. There is this one passage in John, where Jesus says that they who believe in Him will do the miracles that Christ did, and even greater miracles (John 14:12). In my opinion, that level of belief in Christ is what represents a true disciple of Christ. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

  8. It’s been 3 years now that my husband and I (of 3 years) have struggled with his standards for our -rather, my - interaction with men. Rather than talk here through how each of us engages and thinks about what’s right/wrong regarding how we as married individuals should or shouldn’t interact with the opposite sex, I’m looking for several voices to share biblically based guidance. For a small bit of relevant context, no one flirts or ‘finds themselves’ in rooms alone with the opposite sex - we’re talking experiencing regular interactions at the store, at home with guests or service workers, or out socially together with people. Of important note, my spouse does have a fear of being cheated on, which he experienced in his prior marriage. Please include any thoughts regarding: —married men/women speaking to/asking questions of/laughing with the opposite sex —evangelizing to (not discipling) the opposite sex —going to opposite sex doctors —Etc
  9. This shadowy group is undeniably calling forth Satan and the Antichrist to lead the world. But what is this group doing at the United Nations? The Lucis Trust, which has a long history of working with the United Nations, will be celebrating the World Invocation Day tomorrow (May 23). This event has been consistently observed on the “day of the Gemini full moon since 1952”, according to the Lucis Trust website. The annual event has to align with astrological cues. Last year, the World Invocation Day was held on June 3 which naturally featured a Gemini full moon. (Tomorrow also happens to be the Buddhist holy day of Vesak). An integral part of the event is the Great Invocation which summons the “spiritual energies of Light, Love and Purpose”. The following mantra, appealing to the “Mind of God” itself, will presumably be chanted by adherents worldwide in order to accelerate the “evolution of human consciousness and the elevation of the Planet.” Here it is, in all its claptrap glory: https://drmathewmaavak.substack.com/p/just-who-or-what-is-the-lucis-trust
  10. Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. That's how we know there was light on day one. There is no great mystery. God said it, and it happened.
  11. This doesn't address my question. There are NO commands to any of the churches regarding the GC. The closest Scripture to the GC is in Eph 4:11,12. 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up v.11 are the communication gifts, for preaching and explaining the gospel so that people will hear, understand and believe it. That is how they become disciples. v.12 is the purpose of teaching the converts (disciples). For the building up of the Body of Christ through "works of service".
  12. Thank you. Probably because they aren't directly relevant to the GC. Not clear what you mean by a "term not found in Scripture", and then talked about "gospel". Yes, Acts 2:38 has been poorly understood for centuries. Peter told the crowd that the One they turned over to the Romans IS their Messiah. "repent" literally means to change the mind, which they had to do. They all understood Jesus' claim, but hadn't believed that He was who He said He was. So Peter is directly telling them to change their minds. And baptism there was the outward demonstration of an inward change. Nobody gets saved through water baptism. The entire Egyptian army was immersed (baptized) in the Red Sea and they all died. I would appreciate an explanation of the difference. Could you give some Scriptural examples of this difference? No, in Galatians Paul was warning of a fake gospel that was works salvation, which doesn't save. The Galatians were turning back to animal sacrifice. Is this a gospel that saves one from the LOF? The English word "gospel" in the Greek means "good news". There's lots of good news in the Bible. The good news of how to earn reward in eternity and be blessed in time, the good news of how to be delivered, rescued saved from the LOF, etc. Many what? There is only 1 GC, found at the end of Matthew. 28:19,20. Actually, Mark 16:9-20 was not found in the oldest and most reliable manuscripts, and was added later. I cited 16:14 only to show the GC was given to "the eleven". All that stuff about snakebites is clearly not part of inspired Scripture. No difference. Or do you think the Bible tells us to evangelize rocks, trees, fish, etc? I think you've covered it well above. I'm still not convinced that there is a difference between gospel of kingdom vs gospel of grace. God's entire plan for all of mankind is based on grace. Unfortunately, many are confused and think that salvation was by works or law keeping in the OT. Gal 3 refutes that notion. The Law was given to prove to man that he can't be perfect and needs saving from the LOF. The Law was given as a tutor to lead us to Christ (Gal 3:26). And Paul preached exclusively from the "Scriptures", meaning the OT, that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God. And Paul's message was clearly one of grace. It was Paul who wrote Eph 2:8. "we are saved by grace through faith". That is the eternal message from Adam forward.
  13. Take heart and peace in knowing that nothing can be but what GOD allows .... man proposes but GOD disposes

  15. Shalom! The prime minister etc of Norway, has unfortunately been so foolish to say that Norway is for a "two state" solution in Israel 🇮🇱! They did this uncivil decision without asking the opinion of the Norwegian citizens! Can it be that they know that we are many in Norway who would disagree with this unrighteous act, as we wholeheartedly bless Israel 🇮🇱, and don't want it to be parted into more pieces! They who curse Israel 🇮🇱, curse themselves, and they who bless Israel 🇮🇱 are blessed! The countries that seek to divide Israel 🇮🇱, will be divided, and I don't doubt it! Many, many years ago, a Norwegian man prophecied that some day a foreign land would invade this land and divide it, and because of what the prime minister has done now, this could soon happen. I am so ashamed of being a Norwegian today 😔, and I encourage all of you in here to continue to pray 🙏🏽 for Israel 🇮🇱, and please pray for the leaders in Norway 🇳🇴 too. Maranatha! Bo Yeshua! Come quickly!
  16. Don't throw it on one bunch. It's sin if men lay with men, but we're not living in Israel from the O.T. and judge those inside the church, not outside. A rapist who rapes young boys, the Bible in Dutch has a different word for that than for a homosexual. That is evil and should be punishable, just like rape of women. I think a lot is hypocrit. If your colleague lives together in sin with their hetero partner without being married or if they have sex before marriage you don't throw fire and brimstone texts at em and gays should have equal rights because they're human. https://samesexattractions.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/interview-chad-thompson-author-of-loving-homosexuals-as-jesus-would/
  17. And notice the marble walls!!! Quite an elegant shelter.

  21. With the carnal mind this Saving Faith seems to have many components and we csn reasonably list quite a few but from a tiny " measure of Faith" which is a Gift of God we come to the place where this Revelation is born- the Eyes of our Heart Faith is the substance of whst is Hoped for ,the evidence of things not seen(Hebrews 11:1) So how is it possible to see the substance of something invisible? What exactly is hoped for ? So you'd think first you must believe there is more to life than what we see and it doesn't end when we die,one must believe we are not worthy of what is beyond this life, you must believe you need a Savior, you must believe He Can Save you and you can be Forgiven- you must believe thst only God Can do all these things and that Jesus is Who He Says He Is- GOD Sounds like alot? It isnt- this is what is Revealed by Holy Spirit and Seen by the Eyes of one's sincere repentant heart ,the Eyes of Understanding All this Knowledge is Given instantaneously even to a person who never even held a Bible in their hand when a person comes to BELIEVE...... So to answer your question- it's not " what you believe"- it is WHO you Believe When Jesus Knocks and He is Received He Speaks to your heart and you Know He is the Way,the Truth and the Life..... no one can " try " to Believe or have Faith- Faith Comes by Hearijg the Word of God- lest we forget that JESUS is the WORD
  22. Blessings Brothers & Sisters Recently and of course not surprisingly I've had a sad experience with a person who I genuinely had hopes for thar they truly opened their hearts and minds to Jesus I have no doubt many of you have your HOPE in Christ Jesus for such a one and have been sadly disappointed finding " leopards do not change their spots- or probably better said thst snakes might shed their skin but they are still a snake. I thought it might make a good Topic for discussion and not to lose HOPE for anyone but to Understand that not everyone is our Assignment,we may cross paths with some individuals just for a season or a brief moment but always for a REASON- there are times we must walk away and continue to pray- perhaps they are YET to be Enlightened and you don't have to see it- just Believe it......we are instruments, part of an orchestration - Divine Orchestration In Ministry we encounter many hurt people,unbelievers,seekers,,trolls- all kinds. In the same way God Uses us to proclaim the Good News of Christ the enemy uses "them" ( that know not what they do)to attack US,children of God.... have a heart to forgive and know the only ONE we need to be pleasing and acceptable to is God Almighty- we are not people pleasers,we are laborers that cannot afford to waste time where your work is in vain- the harvest field is wide and the laborers are few Ultimately we are called names, accused of not being Christian, our character is called to question -our Faith is Attacked as we are called liars, phony or they try to manipulate,,intimidate etc not to walk away so they may continue to abuse ,use and make a Mockery of Christ - literally just to waste your time - away from where you need to be The spirit of pride makes these feeble attempts to trigger your carnal mind that you should react, get angry, defensive and take it personally- it's not personal,it's not about us,it's about Jesus and how we are hated and persecuted for His Sake I've come to Encourage- the enemy comes to steal ,kill and destroy- steal your Peace, kill your Joy and destroy YOUR Faith.... pray those seeds you've been used to plant will take root, pray that soon someone else will water them-let your HOPE remain in Christ ,not what you might think was a failure And again, remember" Forgive them just as you've been Forgiven- they know not what they do" our enemy is their enemy too only they are under strong delusion.Holy Spirit Reveals,in HIS Perfect Time❤️ With love in Christ,Kwik
  23. EZEKIEL 44:15-31 In this prophetic book, the Prophet sees into the future, the future priests of the third temple, (to be built in the near future) the descendants of “Zadok” will be the priests in the millennium, and the same high standards are for these priests as well. It also states the job of the priest: “And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean” This should also be the goal of every Torah teacher, rabbi, minister, pastor, etc. to teach the WHOLE TORAH in their place of worship and study so that their sheep might follow their shepherd wholeheartedly and secure. The problem today is that a few "hired shepherds" are there for the money, and their heart is not in the job. Some will preach what the "people want to hear" not what they NEED to hear. There are "prosperity gospels" and "if you are not healed it is because your faith is weak" kind of messages. What is Holy? Yeshua/Jesus is Holy, and we need to become like HIM in all ways, little by little, growing spiritually in the WORD and in faith. It all starts with the "New Birth" (John 3:3) The Commandments teach us what is clean and unclean, Holy and unholy. So, what should be taught by the Shepherds who keep their sheep? 1. We are all sinners and have come short of the glory of God. 2. God loves everyone and because of His immense love, He came to earth in human form, to die in our place, taking upon our sins and the curse of death. 3. We must ALL (individually) accept the one-time sacrifice of Yeshua/Jesus on the Cross, in a personal way, knowing that "he died for YOU!(specifically). 4. The Bible is the inerrant WORD of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, His message for ALL mankind. It is our Basic Instruction guide Before Leaving Earth (B.I.B.L.E.) 5. We have eternal life with God and all believers. And Yeshua/Jesus will return soon as the "Lion of Judah" to set up His 1000-year Kingdom, which we will be part of. 6. There is a Heaven and a Hell, and a Lake of Fire (no joke) Eternity is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. Our position with God now determines our future in eternity. LUKE 5:1-6:49 Yeshua speaks to the people, from a boat. After teaching, He and Kefa go out on the lake, resulting in a boatload of fish. Kefa hears, yet protests, “We fished all night and caught nothing” yet still obeys and “reaps the harvest” many fish, to take home to sell and eat. In the other incident when Yeshua caused his talmidim to catch a boatload of fish, the number of fish caught summed “153.” Why is this number recorded? Is it significant? Perhaps Yeshua is making a statement through the fish caught. The statement in Hebrew “Ani Elohim” ( I AM Elohim) sums “153” in gematria (using the “vav” in “Elohim”) Yeshua tells Peter 3 times to "pastor and lead HIS lambs and sheep" Who are HIS lambs and sheep? One way we can look at this symbolically is that a "lamb" can be a "very young believer, perhaps just "born-again" and needs a lot of instruction. The "sheep" are the more mature believers, who still need more instruction (more Torah!) So, that is the job of a rabbi, pastor, Sunday School teacher, Torah Teacher, to instruct and lead the "lambs and sheep" of "his or her pasture" With simple obedience through faith, we can all reap the blessings that YHVH has in store for us. A little bit of faith, trust, and obedience, will bring in a big catch. Now, Kefa is promoted to be a “fisher-of-MEN” rescuing men’s souls from the grasp of HaSatan and bringing them into the Kingdom. Are you a fisher of men (and women) or are you still content with the small “fishy” things of life? You decide! Yeshua also, after the blessing of many fish, healed three people; one who had “Tzara ’at” (a skin disease) a person who was paralyzed, and a person who was “worldly-minded.” To the first He said; “be cleansed” To the second one He said; “Your sins are forgiven you” To the third, (Who was Matthew) He just said; “Follow me!” In all three cases, we have changed lives. When our sins are forgiven, through repentance and accepting Yeshua as Messiah and LORD, we are “cleansed” (internally) and at times, physically. And then, we “follow Him” which should be the logical reaction. “I have not called the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32) We must understand that everyone who is “righteous” (in right standing) similar to “Kadosh” was at one time “a sinner” (living a lifestyle of sin and rebellion). So, it is a change for the better, from a lost sinner to a “righteous” one who has been “born again.” The lost sinner needs to be instructed by the Torah unto righteousness, and the righteous need to be instructed by the Torah to “stay guided on the Path of Righteousness”

  25. Thank you for your comment. At times, I ask "What are the secret things that belong to the LORD?" Maybe the location of many large diamonds deep underground, or maybe, the deeper meaning of scripture, that belongs to the LORD, and at times, will reveal to those who search (diamonds in scripture)
  26. I've had similar conversations about this subject, with friends and relatives and members of the LBGT community. I also quoted many scriptures, showing that God considers sodomy to be a grievous sin. I found the main issue was, how they perceive Gods Word. If they don't believe it has authority, then we're not going to convince them of anything. Most Christians cherry pick the Bible, they only accept those passages of scripture which they approve of. But they dismiss those which don't live up to their expectations. There would be no debate if professing Christians simply embraced what God has said. The main challenge is to convince people to take the Bible seriously. I think we should share the ten commandments with them to see if they admit to being a sinner and then maybe move on to judgement and punishment for sin. All of the LGBT people I know, claim they were born that way, and they never would have chosen to be homosexual if they had a choice. They all have their own tragic testimonies, of being rejected by some of their family, friends and relatives. we can't convince them to change who they are by quoting from a book they don't believe has any authority. The Bible says that we inherited a sin nature from Adam, so all of us have to wrestle against our nature and deny ourselves many of the things we desire. If God leaves us to our own devices, and doesn't intervene to regenerate us then we don't know what we're capable of. We should pray for our LGBT friends and also for those who believe it's normal and good. We can share the gospel and our testimony with them, but only God is able to regenerate and convert them. 1 Corinthians 3:6-9 6. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8. now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his labor. 9. For we are God's fellow workers; you are Gods field, you are Gods building.
