  1. I recently went through a lot of anxiety over stuff like this and one day God said I want to deliver you of that spirit of offense.....hmmmm....I shared this with a coworker and she shared her testimony about how she would be hurt and offended by others all the time until God took that away from her....she prayed with me and I haven't suffered anxiety anymore nor suffered hurt by others remarks insensitive remarks towards me....seeing things in a whole new perspective these days and I have great joy and peace over it.
  2. I am not completely studied up on this....just getting into researching it....I do know in Revelation there are 7 trumpets that will sound....I don't think this is that.
  3. Yes, I wanted the one with the compilation.....there are several videos from around the world by different individuals recording the sounds.
  4. Here is a VERY detailed article on the rams horn...also called a Shofar A ‘shofar’ is a ram's horn trumpet, one of the earliest wind instruments known to man. Its symbolic use by the people of Israel is described in this article. The subject of the SHOFAR. The ram's horn trumpet, is one of the first instruments played by the ancient Israelites. Bible references concerning the ‘shofar’ (a Hebrew word which according to Strong's Dictionary, #07782, is translated ‘trumpet’ in 68 of the 72 times it appears in the Old Testament) tell us many meaningful things about this ancient wind instrument. But before we consider the Bible references, here are a few facts concerning the ‘shofar’ taken from the Jewish Encyclopaedia. “It was the voice of the shofar ‘exceeding loud’ issuing from the thick cloud on Sinai that made all in the camp tremble (Ex xix. 16, xx.18): and for this reason while other musical instruments were in each age constructed according to the most advanced contemporary practice, the trumpet family being represented by the long straight silver ‘hazozerah…’ the shofar has never varied in structure from its prehistoric simplicity and crudity. …The curved shofar is symbolic of the contrite heart repenting on the most solemn days of Rosh ha Shanah and Yom Kippur. The shofar represents the windpipe, the spiritual part of the body alongside the gullet, through which the food or the earthly part passes. The sound of the shofar awakens the Higher Mercy = ‘Rahamim…’ The object of the second and third series of ‘teki-ot’ is to bewilder and stagger Satan, who, at first imagining that the Jews are merely complying with the Law, is surprised by the second blowing, thinking perhaps that the Messiah is coming, and finally is dumbfounded, expecting the Resurrection, with which his power will finally cease.” Now let us take a look at some Bible texts. We will simply list them before ending with a short summary. Each time you see the word trumpet in the Old Testament verses below, remember that the original Hebrew word was ‘shofar.’ You may even want to study the full Bible story from which these brief quotations are taken. That is a study in itself. Also, when reading, note when the ‘shofars’ were blown, who blew them, what events did they herald, what were the people of Israel supposed to do when they heard the ‘shofar’ and how did the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob respond. Note also how the LORD Himself is going to blow the ‘Great Shofar!’ Here are the texts: 1. At Mount Sinai Exodus 19: 16: “And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.” Exodus 19: 19: “And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.” Exodus 20: 18: “And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.” 2. On the Almighty’s Sabbaths Psalm 81: 3: “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, inthe time appointed, on our solemn feast day.” Leviticus 23: 24: “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.” Leviticus 25: 9: “Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.” 3. At the Destruction of Jericho Joshua 6: 4: “And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. 5: And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him...” Joshua 6: 20: “So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” 4. Victory in Warfare Judges 7: 16: “And he (Gideon) divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers...” Judges 7: 20: And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.” 2 Chronicles 13: 12: And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper. 13: But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them. 14: And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets. 15: Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.” 5. The Return of the Ark 2 Samuel 6: 15: “So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.” 6. The Anointing of King Solomon 1 Kings 1: 34: “And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon.” 7. The Dedication of the Temple 2 Chronicles 5: 13: “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD.” 8. Rebuilding of Jerusalem Nehemiah 4: 18: “For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.” Nehemiah 4: 20: “In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us.” 9. A Watchmen’s Responsibilities Ezekiel 33: 3: “If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4: Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5: He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6: But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.” 10. Warnings Concerning Sins Isaiah 58: 1: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Joel 2: 1: “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.” 11. The LORD Shall Blow the Shofar! Zechariah 9: 14: “And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.” Isaiah 18: 3: “All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when HE bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.” Isaiah 27: 13: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the GREAT trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.” 12. Alas! Many Will Not Listen It is an absolute tragedy that, like Israel of old, millions of people pay little or no attention to the Almighty's Word and the warnings it contains. Blindly they stagger on, refusing to acknowledge the Creator's presence, His Word, His Law and His offer of salvation through His only begotten Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the greatest mistake the human race has ever made and - alas - is still making! Jeremiah 6: 17: “Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.” Summary The ‘shofar,’ the ram's horn trumpet, represents the spokesmen of Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel; through whom His Spirit declares the Truth. It is a musical instrument of antiquity - of God’s own making! A ‘divine shofar’ sounded at Sinai when the Creator of the mighty universe gave Israel His holy law - for all mankind! Blowing its earthly counterpart (the ram's horn) today, is declaring one's acceptance of God's eternal commandments and authority over us. The ‘shofar’ was, and still is, sounded on Yahweh’s High and Holy Days: i.e. the weekly Sabbath, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and in the day of the New Moon. Blowing it today is a reminder of the Everlasting Covenant between the Almighty God and His chosen people Israel. The ‘shofar’ was instrumental in triggering the Almighty's power when He demolished the walls of Jericho in the days of Joshua. Blowing it today is an act of living faith in the Almighty's ability to demolish the systems of this world, however high and mighty their ramparts may be. The ‘shofar’ will always herald victory in warfare, provided the people of the LORD are obedient to His law. Blowing it today is a call for divine assistance. The ‘shofar’ was sounded when king David brought the ark of the covenant back to Jerusalem. Blowing it today is a sign of our re-commitment to the Holy One of Israel. The ‘shofar’ was sounded when Solomon was anointed king of Israel. Blowing it today is a declaration of our loyalty to the King of Kings, Yeshua the Messiah, One who is wiser and greater than Solomon. The ‘shofar' was sounded when the Temple was dedicated. Blowing it today is a call to worship. The ‘shofar’ was sounded when Israel's exiles returned from captivity to rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the second Temple. Blowing it today is a symbol of the restoration of God’s Truth. The ‘shofar’ was blown by the watchmen on Zion's walls to warn the inhabitants of the sword of the enemy. Blowing it today is a signal to awake to the danger of Satanic attack. The ‘shofar’ was sounded by the watchmen and prophets of Israel to warn of sin. In like manner we must warn God's people else we will have blood on our hands! Blowing it today is a call to faith, repentance and obedience. Before the end of this age, all humanity will hear the LORD Himself sound the Great Shofar, the heavenly trumpet which will raise the dead. Blowing the ram’s horn shofar today is a reminder that we are fast approaching that time. Alas! most people will not heed these warnings, even when they are backed by the Word of God. To them the ‘shofar’ is an embarrassment and divine warnings only stir up contempt and anger. Do not let this happen to you, because that would be a disaster! For the fact is, the ‘call of the shofar’ signifies all that is dear to the God of Israel: truth, repentance, obedience, dedication, restoration, sanctification, warning, expectation, victory and resurrection from the dead! So in future when you hear the ‘call of the shofar’ remember these things, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and bless His holy Name. It may be that He will spare you in the fast-approaching Day of Judgment! I will end here with the prayer that YAHWEH the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, Creator of the mighty universe and Father of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah will bless all those who seek to trust and obey Him.
  5. I never heard of it before that night I heard the booms...so who knows... but the sounds are real and no one can explain them...
  6. I thought of that too, but this is coming from the sky....which is part of the earth...but it sounds so much like a Shofar
  7. Not long ago, sitting in my living room, I heard 5 loud booms in the sky.....I sent out messages to ask if anyone else heard it then did and internet search and here is one of many videos I found about the sound of a trumpet or Shofar https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=mysterious+booms+and+trumpet+sounds+all+over+the&qpvt=mysterious+booms+and+trumpet+sounds+all+over+the&view=detail&mid=4010089449C5479D43B14010089449C5479D43B1&&FORM=VRDGAR
  8. It is!....and to have personally heard the booms....and I watched a compilation of the horns and booms and it sounds just like an army marching into battle.....
  9. Not to long ago I heard these boom sounds in the sky....like someone striking the base drum....BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM......I said to myself what was that?....sent out messages if anyone else heard it....searched the internet and this is what I discovered.. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=mysterious+booms+and+trumpet+sounds+all+over+the&qpvt=mysterious+booms+and+trumpet+sounds+all+over+the&view=detail&mid=4010089449C5479D43B14010089449C5479D43B1&&FORM=VRDGAR Is this strange phenomenon the Blowing of the Rams horn....the Battle Cry for the Saints to prepare for War? Is the call to for Spiritual Warriors to rise up? This morning I was praying and interceding and I am sharing what the Lord spoke to me.... This morning I was in prayer and my spirit became heavily grieved....I could only pray in tongues and as I prayed the grief became stronger and I cried uncontrollably....when this lifted I sat and listened to what the Lord had to say..... He said lift your praises unto me so that the host of heaven may hear and reply and respond to your cry....Praise me in knowing that I am the El Shaddai, Adonai, the Lord of your salvation....I have sent forth the battle cry....as it increases it indicates I am even nearer, I will keep you under my wings, you will dwell in my shadow and my angels will be before you engaging in the battle set before the nations of the world.....Lift your praises unto me for the battle has begun and the victory is mine.....Lift your praises unto me that the host of heaven may hear and know that you stood in faith trusting in my Word.....I have commanded the angels to blow the horn and send out the battle cry....Rise up my Mighty Warriors and go out to the world declaring the Kingdom of the Lord is hear! I could do nothing but Praise Him after this and I wanted to share.....
  10. The Bible says no man come unto the Father except that the Holy Spirit draws them......(convicts their heart) Good Prayer!
  11. Yes, I am learning this very quickly.....when I joined a Christian forum I was in desperate need of Godly counsel and Christian fellowship during some very difficult trials i was going through. As for me, I prayed for the Holy Spirit to lead the right people to me, and he did. And Praise God i am now back on the right track and it was due to the words of encouragement and words of wisdom and Godly counsel which brought the right words spoken at the right time that brought healing and deliverance....(and of course praying and seeking Him on my own and getting back to reading His Word). So when I would see others coming here for the same reason I was eager to help them as I was helped.....didn't work out as well......and on top of that the posts from other members that condemned rather than encourage was countering any advice I could give.
  12. Thanks for sharing this....I am rather new to forums and am still learning how to recognize trolls and robots.
  13. Are they not the descendants of the Tribe of Dan whom God cursed? and they were scattered? Amos 8:11-14 gives the last mention of the tribe of Dan in the Old Testament, and it also references their idolatry, "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. THEY THAT SWEAR BY THE SIN OF SAMARIA, and say, THY god, O DAN, LIVETH; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; EVEN THEY SHALL FALL, AND NEVER RISE UP AGAIN." They swear by the false gods and idols of the tribe of Dan, by which they had become known, and they meet with destruction.
  14. Sorry for joining but I have another perspective if I may be so bold.....how can scriptures no longer be needed? They can't because they are the Living Word of God and without them we would slowly die spiritually....As we study His Word it gets in us and LIVES in us...and if we forget any part that we have received the Holy Spirit will bring it to our remembrance...We are to meditate on His Word day and night, Confess His Word over our lives, Teach His Word to those who are still babes in Christ. Then there is the revelation of His Word that the Holy Spirit gives us....something you've read numerous times will suddenly have meaning on a deeper understanding.....So scriptures are needed....but His Word is In me and is evident in how it CHANGED me. Okay, I will humbly bow out.... God Bless!
  15. Not the answer to this OP but did you know you are 3 in 1? Not the Holy Trinity but a trinity....You are Body, Mind, and Spirit. Each operates independently yet dependent on one another.....the body tends to its survival needs, the mind tends to the wisdom, knowledge and understanding needs, and the spirit tends to the spiritual/eternal life things (the breath of life).... So now lets compare.... God is the mind....Omnipotent and Creator Jesus is the body: Sacrificial lamb, Word that became flesh The Holy Spirit obviously is the spirit of God that brings life to our own spirit and is the Power and Anointing that operates through us. But all 3 of these are 1 as the 3 separate parts of us are 1. I know this isn't a good answer but it is a hard question to put logic to.
  16. Hi, sister! Well you have already been getting some good advice and I want to share with you what the Holy Spirit is speaking to me right now... You are comparing yourself to this woman....one of the things that happens when a spouse has an affair is that you start losing confidence in your own self....(I am not pretty anymore, I don't please him anymore, why did he cheat....etc. etc...) so your self-esteem and confidence is at a low....and it is only fueled in how he responded in anger to you inquiries about this woman. Well...this is why the bible teaches us to cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself above the truth of His Word....It teaches us that "as a man/woman thinketh so is he"....You are wonderfully and beautifully created! You are blessed and highly favored of the Lord!....You are the head and not the tail!..... Fear of him caring about this other woman can cause us to over analyze a situation as here......Bind that fear, give it to the Lord, speak those things that are not as though they were, pray for healing and restoration in your marriage, the bible says the believing wife sanctifies the unbelieving husband, speak positive over yourself and your husband each time you have something to say, Praise Him daily that He watches over your marriage and blesses it.....Let Satan know he aint devil enough to take your man! Well I will be praying for you......and one more thing.....get involved in something you like to do apart from him! I hope this isn't offensive....I just been there and God healed me from it. God Bless!
  17. Excellent words of wisdom! I have been praying Psalm 51:10 over my life for the past several years and just recently He showed me one of the reasons I didn't have close friends is because I was always "preaching" to them instead of just listening.....and that I compared myself as being closer to God than they were.....so I had "self-righteous pride" in my heart.....not anymore! This past 2 years God has stripped me of every ounce of pride and humbled me to the point that even the beggars and homeless have it better than I do....lol.
  18. Aha! I gotcha now!....more coffee please, I need to wake up! LOL.
  19. Sin by definition is "wrongdoing" or "immoral act that transgresses against a divine law".....so how else would sin be laid out? Failing to do good is the same as wrongdoing which is sin.
  20. Thanks for your testimony and I had the same experience years ago about Christianity....I had just got home from church and the sermon convicted me of ANOTHER sin I had committed....(my church taught if you sin after salvation then you are a backslider)...so I went to the front, got prayed for, rededicated my life for the umpteenth time....so when I walked in my house I threw myself on the floor and cried out to God and said I give up...this Christianity thing is just too hard and no matter how hard I try not to sin I mess up. Well that day God spoke to me for the first time....(LONG story)......and let me know that He was my Father and no matter how many times I mess up He would never stop loving me and that as a loving Father He would correct me and chastise me as needed but that I was His child and it was His job to raise me up into a mature adult in Christ. I love my Father!!! I never suffered condemnation again after that....conviction, yes, but not condemnation.
  21. Okay, sister, well one of my favorite things to do is spiritual warfare and intercessory prayer and prayer knows no boundaries nor recognizes any distance....I will also pray for you as well that God will give you a clear instruction as to His Will and Plan for you in this town and church.....God Bless!
  22. Mercy...I will just call you Superman!....stay away from the kryptonite!
  23. It is not wrong to collect tithes...as for those ministers who purpose in their heart to take for their own gain and not to profit the ministry then God will deal with him....but what is most important to consider is why does God Word mention tithing? Everything on earth belongs to Him...He isn't poor...He owns the cattle on a thousand hills....so why does His Word teach us to tithe? It is to store up in the warehouse for the dispersment at times of need....I would love for God to just rain down money from heaven every time there was a need that had to be met.....but He doesn't...How did the Jews build the Holy Temple? It wasn't free all that gold and stuff....the laborers had to be paid... Also Tithing is tied in with reaping and sowing....and we are taught to give with a cheerful heart.... …6Consider this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not out of regret or compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.… People love to give to God...to the furtherance of the gospel...so for those who struggle with it then don't....God isn't a beggar or a thief...He won't take from you what you are not willing to give. God Bless.
  24. Hello, brothers and sisters in Christ....I am wondering if anyone here has had any past dreams, visions, or revelation about 2018....I have had a few people share there dreams from a few years ago that this year was war...(didn't specify if it was WW3) the beginning of sorrows and woes....then in January while I was praying and interceding I saw a vision of September being a crucial time for the start of this. Well, now having said that, I know what the scriptures say and such but what I am looking for is has anyone else had a dream, vision, or revelation pointing to the same thing. If not then I am more than happy to say I must have been influenced into seeing this.
