I will have to agree with all replies concerning, "Does God Beg?" And I'll also admit without shame, there have been many times I've begged, pleaded, interceded and petitioned the Lord in prayer... Usually accompanied with having wept as well. I'm neither ashamed to admit to that, as much as I'm not ashamed of the Gospel, and the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you, Shalom David/BeauJangles

white tiger,I've checked this forum for several days now... and I think I understand the concept of your doctrinal beliefs, though they're polyphonic, enigmatic, paradoxical, and chaotic. I do understand the belief of the Eucharist, as the embodiment of the sacraments, i.e. Christ literally becomes manifest in them. You worship the saints by praying to them, because in doing so, you deify them on some equivalence to Divinity. You believe in the Charismatic Movement, including the manifestation of the Holy Ghost, with speaking in other tongues, gifts of the Spirit, which among them are prophetical utterances, interpretation of tongues, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discernment of spirits, casting out of devils, prayer for the sick, healings, miracles, etc... Okay, sure, alright, uh-huh yeah, I get it. But what you don't get, is Sheba in her kind delicate and polite inquiry is: if you've unsubscribed 3 days ago, but now it's 4 days, because of your disgust, detest and general dogmatic manner displays in opposition to Worthy's ToS: Terms of Service, why are you still here if you hate us so loathsome and disrespectfully? Just saying, white tiger... No offense, don't mind me, I'm not in authority, I'm just in support, because I do love Worthy, the ministry, those in leadership, plus the numerous members I've come to know, and have genuine endearing fondness for... I enjoy hanging out here, because in Sheba's own words to me recently, "Where else would I go?" Shalom Aliechem David/BeauJangles

Joel Osteen, in the Spirit of Ecumenism, meets Pope Francis
BeauJangles replied to WorthyNewsBot's topic in Christian News
I whole heartedly agree with Sheba and shiloh about Joel Osteen... What in the world is he cavorting with a Mormon and paying homage to the Pope? Even though Joel has no genuine degree or doctorate in Theology, he should know better than to propagate furthering the Catholic faith. How tragically sad. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if Osteen kissed the Pope's ring... Then again, as littlelamb's comment mentioned, we shouldn't be so surprised, as these things are the signs of the End Times. How do you know when God has responded to a prayer?
BeauJangles replied to jeffnevins's topic in General Discussion
LOL other one, that is absolutely classic... Yet another pearl from our Worthy wise owl. I've gotta write that one down. Excellent! God bless you, David/BeauJangles other one: I'm thankful that the Lord didn't let me make another mistake in life. -
Hi, Dee. True forgiveness is not an easy thing for most us to do. It takes determination... And a lot of effort. I think it's even more difficult, when the offending person does not ask forgiveness of you. That can really tear you up inside. However, forgiveness is not a suggestion, it is a commandment. Of course a loving parent such as yourself, would find forgiveness extremely hard to see your child wrongfully hurt. I believe a mother's heart is aligned with the children they brought into this world. A violation to your children, also violates you. I also believe that forgiveness is a decision and not necessarily a feeling. It takes work to accomplish this. Just as it takes effort to love someone who is difficult to be love... It is also a decision. It takes tenacity and perseverance. It is the will of God concerning all of us. Shalom. David/BeauJangles (KJV) Luke 6:36-37 [36] Be ye, therefore, merciful, as your Father also is merciful. [37] Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Really great aricle, ncn... btw, I felt privileged to have you share the link with me about D-Day, in the chat room this morning. The short video clip with the church service and ceremony with the public in London, was very touching. I watched her Majesty bowing in reverence before the commemorative monument... And before the Lord, in her apparent humble heart. I have much respect and admiration for her. Long live the Queen and God bless her. Tears welled up in my eyes to see so many openly weeping, with the grief of their loss. So hard were the ravages of that war... God bless you, brave knight. David/BeauJangles

I'm coming in at the end of this thread for a specific reason, and to make a simple point on this topic... This is page 4 of 4. I want to address the topic concerning the demise of America, what helped to make this great nation even greater, and what may attribute to its impending fall. I scanned through the thread, just to make sure it remained on topic. Yes it does. Do we predominately agree? Yes we do. Was anything added to the subject of gay marriage, because it also attributes to the demise of America? Yes it was, because we also by majority agree, the travesty of abortion may be further cause towards our nation's demise. So we're still on the same page so to speak, on the topic. Am I correct so far? I am not an intellectual. Nor a biblical scholar. I came to Christ Jesus in 1972, had an affirmative born again experience, and love the Lord my God with all my heart. I became a member of Worthy, because I also am in agreement with and believe in The Statement of Faith. I trust we all are. I observe and adhere to the ToS: Terms of Service. If I make a mistake or state something and it gets misconstrued, I give due apologies and with sincerity, seek forgiveness. A large attraction about Worthy, is that it's a pro Judaic Christian ministry. The fact that it is inter-denominational, multi-ethnical, both Jew and Gentile and Gentile, was a major plus for me... More than I could have ever hoped for. Let's face it folks, America was and is blessed by the presence of God's Chosen Ones in our nation. They have influence of the diamond industry in New York City, and cinema in Hollywood, California. Yes, many found prosperity here. And we are benefactors of the Seed of Abraham, spiritually speaking... Are we not? From ancient history, through the 20th Century, empires and nations that rose up against Israel and the Hebrew lineage, crumbled and fell. During World War II, in the midst of the Depression, America and it's allies joined arms and defeated the Nazi Invasion. The devastation of the Holocaust ended... But not before the death of six million European Jews. After the ravages of the war, the disaster of the Great Depression ended. I don't wonder why. Do you? Now this issue of gay marriage has turned our nation into Sodom and Gomorrah. America is more than troubled. Things haven't been going well at all. Not since Roe vs. Wade... But my point is this: We don't have a president who favors Israel. And since his election, to present date, it looks like we're on a downhill slide to depravity. Very obvious, don't you think? Come 2016, I pray vote with caution and godly wisdom. We need a president who will stand up and stand behind Israel. Because we don't have one like that now. God bless you, Shalom Aleichem David/BeauJangles The Abrahamic Covenant: (KJV) Genesis 12: 2-3 [2] And I shall make of thee a great nation, and I shall bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. [3] And I will bless them that bless thee, curse him that curseth thee. and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

is hell actually the place of the dead?
BeauJangles replied to manners75's topic in General Discussion
Amen, Willamina! Absolute Gospel Truth. The Word of God confirms it. I couldn't have said it better myself. God bless you! David/BeauJangles Willamina: All who are saved will be immediately be in Jesus' presence at death. We will always be with Him. (KJV) 2nd Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. -
I was a bit reluctant to post about this topic. I Usually don't mention too frequently about occult. However, as I was scanning through the thread, I did become concerned... I've shared with a few of you about my past involvement with occultism, before coming to Christ. I thank God that He rescued me from the demonic realm of bondage. Cinema and media has had a field day with this. Yes it sells, and many have bought into it. The New Age Movement, is simply the Age of Aquarius in brand new packaging. And it's seduction is very subtle, but there is nothing new about it. In my mid teen years during the latter 60s, I was drawn into eastern mysticism. It was very prevalent at that time... It still is. The occult is extremely deceptive. Literally millions have dabbled with one or more seemingly innocent practices that are occult oriented, but don't realize it. Satanism, black magic and the dark arts, are obviously evil. Those who practice these things, openly admit it. That had no appeal to me. Yet I fell for other curiosities, I thought were wisdom and deeper understanding. It was a dreadful mistake. And it could have led to an eternal mistake of damnation. But the power of the name of Jesus rescued me. Now I will be eternally grateful. The Word of God is very clear about witchcraft and sorcery... Both in the Old and New Testament. I almost learned the hard way, if you play with fire, you will get burned. God bless you, David/BeauJangles

Hi, coheir! I go with standard black. (pretty obvious) I'm not real tech savvy when it comes to computers. (also obvious) What I can ascertain about the font and the color, it's similar to my e-mail options. I can choose whichever color I prefer, here also. The font is: Georgia and I go bold. (B) Both here and e-mail. I like it. I think it reminds me of KJV print. KJV also uses italics (I) for emphasis. I do that too, when I post. I prefer it to capping. Sometimes I'll use the underlining (U) for strong emphasis. I do all that both here in the forums and e-mail. I usually post Scripture in red, plain/default font. Black is also default color, I discovered. e-mail too. Why the color change when copy, cut and a paste? I have no idea! But yeah, I've noticed that as well. I do know my Georgian font is not quite as bold once posted. I wish I had an answer for ya, but surly someone must. God bless you! David/BeauJangles

Oh, guys that is just hysterical! ROFL Anyway, my aunt and uncle have their organ donor cards and I see nothing wrong with that. Personally, I wouldn't object... It would save on burial expenses! Seriously though, if anything of use could save a life, I don't have a problem with it, since I would have no need for it. However, donating my body to science would mean I'd end up a cadaver and would be no, that's a bit TMI... Then again, why should I care? So, organ donor, sure. Cadaver? My surviving family needs something, since I've already chosen cremation. They would like most of it to inurn, or cast to the winds, we haven't gotten into a lot of detail on that yet. David/BeauJangles other one: i just told my wife and kids to make sure i was really dead... JTC: I'm seriously considering donating my body to science. I just don't want to wind up as dog food.

Hi, Rusty. Congratulations, your membership is official, so a Worthy Welcome to you! You are now allowed into the forums for discussion on your topic: Genesis 1:1-2. There are two ages here between verses, that have made for much confusion, doctrinal interpretation and disputation... There is no Big Bang. I'm going to invite you to the forums on this one and submit it to the experts, for further explanation. God bless and prepare for the best! Shalom, David/BeauJangles

Things Got Worst I Don't Understand
BeauJangles replied to LadyKay's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
LadyKay, when you are seeking after the things of God's righteousness and will, the adversary of your soul comes against you... Your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Cling to the hem of His garment and don't let go! And never give up, whatever you do. Neither become weary in well-doing. You are in our prayers... Count on it! May our loving Saviour comfort and give you strength, in this time of trails and suffering for His name's sake. God bless you, with the peace that passes all understanding... Shalom Aleichem David/BeauJangles -
ljpob, I think your relevant verses sums up the answer to the question in post. (they're all great, I might add!) So I concur with the rest as: Yes. Most certainly, without a doubt! God bless you, Shalom Aleichem. David/BeauJangles

Welcome to Worthy, ProzacR. I do hope you find ncn and his expertise enlightening. He is both highly honored and greatly admired here. We have many other biblical scholars as well. I'm sure if you're up for a bit of humble pie so to speak, you should come to the conclusion, that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And you're certainly welcome for the opportunity to see the erroneous doctrine of the Rosicrucian belief. Once you obtain 5 posts for membership, this topic can be directed in the appropriate forum, for extensive discussion. But, you're on the way and everything will go accordingly. God bless you, David/BeauJangles

Question about Making Someone More Moral
BeauJangles replied to joejkljkl's topic in General Discussion
Hi, Joe. Your post caught my attention, in this forum. As I was scanning through the replies, you came in with this statement below... And the topic changed everything previously posted. Of course, following this, members made all attempts to accommodate your situation and respond to your concern. Well done, everyone! As you have sought counsel, some may know details about this person and the relationship you have with him and/or her. It could be a friend you've recently made, or have had for some time. Perhaps, some one you work with, or are employed by. Maybe a relative, in-law or otherwise. It's a bit vague and there's a lot of missing blank spaces... It's hard to give specific advice and minister to your needs. That doesn't mean we don't have concern for you, look at all these responses! Our Saviour told his disciples they would suffer persecution. He told them they would be hated, but reminded them, He was hated first. After our Lord's death, resurrection and before His ascension, Jesus said to His followers, that we would experience troublesome times and difficult situations. But not to be afraid, because He would always be with us and never leave, nor forsake us. And that He would also send His Spirit, the Comforter, to abide within us... Always! I could give you chapter and verse here, but I don't want to take too much space and opportunity for others to reply. Prayer is a key-element, for what you must endure. Trust in Him! Christ our Messiah, will never fail you... Believe in Him. I'll leave you with a portion from the Sermon on the Mount. It was spoken to the masses and applies even unto this day. Count on prayers our for you. They are power and might. God bless you, David/BeauJangles I'm sorry you all misunderstood me. This person persecutes me and I'm trying to get it to stop. Mathew 5:10-12 Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad; for great is your reward in Heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you. -
ljpob, welcome to Worthy! And congratulations on your membership... Your post and comments are also shared by many here. As you mentioned, the Lord can open our hearts and minds to a deeper understanding, concerning His Word. Feel right at home! God bless you, David/BeauJangles

Fire-heart, I am pleased with your growth in the Lord, since you first came to Worthy. Surely our God is even more so delighted in you! As you continue in His grace and the more you understand our Savior's will concerning you, the more attacks can be expected... So, why the attacks of the enemy? Because you know too much! So yes, you are a threat, so to speak. The evil one wants to discourage and cause each and every fall you might encounter... Anything that might create a stumbling block and make your dedicated walk with Lord, ineffectual or compromised. It's apparent to me, the sincerity of your heart. Don't allow the devil steal away, what the Almighty has freely given to you! God Bless You, David/BeauJangles Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in the high places. James 4:7-8 Submit yourselves, therefore, unto God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh unto God and he shall draw nigh to you.

*seeker*, First of all, welcome to Worthy. You're here for answers, but you don't want biblical scriptures. And you don't want to be preached at, or any sermons. Alright, that's okay for now. I'll not pound on the podium with a Bible. Nor will I give you an endless list of passages. But, you're placing limits upon yourself. That can block your heart and mind from the answers you are searching for. You want evident proof that God exists. You believe in some kind of 'Supreme Being', or you would have never sought God through Islam. To me, that expresses much desire, but also a great deal of confusion. You didn't find it in the the Qur'an. You also say you're agnostic, but not an atheist, either. Good! You're not hopeless then, *seeker*. Your chosen name indicates that. There's something going on in your life, but you don't want to talk about that. What is it then? In rolling out the welcome mat, I may also be about to trip over my own tongue. I'll take my chances... Why? Because I think you're worth it. So do this God, you're not sure you can believe in. Allow me to step a little closer into your 'comfort zone'. I have some comments and then I have a few questions. Is that okay with you? You came here for a reason and you want answers. I believe without a doubt, you came to the right place. I don't know your age, your geographical location, or ethnical and cultural origin. But that doesn't matter. This ministry has 65,800+members from all over the world. You are always welcome here. You're not just wondering whether you believe, you're wanting to believe in 'something' or 'someone' greater than yourself. You would not be *seeker*, if not for a longing in your heart. And you are searching, but you're not sure just what it is. A few questions to leave you with... Are you going through, or experiencing a troublesome situation in your life at this time? Have you lost a friend, or someone you loved, whether by leaving you behind, or passing away? Is there a problem you're facing and you can't figure out how to deal with it? Just what is it, *seeker*? All of us here, came to God because we needed Him. And we also wanted Him. One more thing, *seeker*... I am asking you to do this, because I appreciate your honesty. I want you to say this, to a God you're not sure even exists: "God, if you're real, I want you to prove to me, in a way that I can believe without a doubt that you are real. Then and only then, will I believe in you." It starts there, *seeker*. Then, give God a chance to do this for you. If you are sincere, even though skeptical, God will honor it. What you do from there, is up to you. Take care, *seeker*. I trust you will find what you are seeking. David/BeauJangles
