It aint “ What” you eat.It ain’t “ how much” you eat. It only becomes a problem if you put it first in your life— ahead of God.Does your life revolve around your God, or does it revolve around food and eating all the time.

One can make an idol of anything.....that is why gluttony is considered a sin.....if eating is of first importance in your life, you have made it an idol ......you could do it in limitless ways.....football, golf , sex, drinking,money,your job......anything you put before God in your life

When Jesus said "go and sin no more" the power was available in His spoken word for those he said that to, to obey him.? Experience and common sense says otherwise, in my opinion “ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us”

Brilliant, insightful post. A subject nobody discusses.Only those that “ know Him” know the value of what you are saying .I prefer it over gold, fame,health—— anything! It is the ultimate “ high” , to put it crudely.It is joy and peace and mainly, awe.May everyone here be blessed to “ know “ Him.
