  1. For those who are faint in their heart be of good cheer for the Lord has overcome all that surrounds you. Remember He said,"lo, I am with you always, even until the end of time." (Matthew 28:20) Draw Him into the situation that is trying to draw you into the valley of fear. As you draw Him in His faith within you (Galatians 2:20), rises up, fear will bow down and diminish. Let the faith that He has given you -- let that gift be opened to a greater degree. Release the faith that is within you. Allow Him to take that faith, even that tiny mustard seed, and speak multiplication, for He has not come to judge your unbelief. He has come to celebrate your mustard seed. Call Him in as the One who brings the breakthrough. Call Him as the One who holds time in His hand. Call Him in as the begininning, the Alpha and the Omega. Call Him in to be the One who stands as the Good Shepherd, and takes His staff and hits the ground, and takes His rod and beats back all that would come to oppose you. Let His Word rise up, mixed with faith. Let praise be the crown that you would send on the wings of an angel back to Him. As you bring forth honor and glory to His name, He will turn the tide that wants to drown you and rob you of your faith, for He comes to multiply faith -- to take your hand and your broken heart, and to hold them in His hands and bring healing and wholeness. Use the authority of His name. Cease to tremble. Let the demons flee and tremble.Command the waves to be still. Command the storms to cease. Commandthe Peace of Understanding to penetrate situations as He brings to your understanding revelation knowledge and crowns you with favor. For such a time as this He is lifting up a people who will decree, and who will declare, that Jesus is not only Lord, but that they will say also in one accord, 'It is Finished. It is Written." 2. Matthew 12:35 - "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things." Who did Jesus say brings it forth? The good man from the good deposit of his heart brings it forth. What you deposit in your heart is what will come forth, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. What's abundantly in your heart will always get in your mouth. Also what's abundantly in your mouth will also get in your heart. In other words, you establish things in your heart by "saying" them with your mouth, and the cycle starts all over again. SOWING THE WRONG WORDS James 1:26 - "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." If you are not a doer of the Word, no on has to deceive you, because you are are deceived already. If you don't bridle your tongue--it will deceive your heart. You will sow the wrong words, and the seed you sow will produce after its kind. Many people wonder why things turn out the way the do not realizing their tongue deceived their heart, and their heart brought forth fruit of itself. PLANTING FAITH BY SAYING In Romans 10:6-8 Paul tells us, "the righteousness which is of faith speaketh...the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart." Notice it's in your mouth first, then in your heart. Jesus confirms this in Luke 17:5,6. When the apostles asked Him to increase their faith, His answer was: "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." He didn't say a thing about giving them more faith. He told them to plant their faith by "SAYING", and it would produce. Affirmations: I SPEAK GODS PROMISES INTO MY HEART EVERY DAY. I PLANT FAITH AS A SEED BY RELEASING IT IN WORDS. I SPEAK ONLY THOSE THINGS THAT I WANT TO GROW IN MY LIFE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. What are the hinderances that keep us from growth and progress in our spiritual life?
  4. "..therefore be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." - 2 Timothy 2:1 God's grace is undeserved, this means that God's goodness is not expressed to each of us because we are good; it is given to us because He is good! Sometimes it's hard to even wrap our minds around this fact. This is because most of us have, in reality, believed that grace is based upon performance and our religious works. However, receiving grace from God has absolutely nothing to do with our performance at all; it is completely based upon undeserved favor. If God's favor were based upon our ability to do right and perform well, then we would not need His grace. We would then believe that because of our own abilities we have been blessed. This is such a deceptive lie of the enemy. He does not desire that we embrace the revelation of God's grace. BONDAGE IN FEELING PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED "And if by grace, then it is no longer of works: otherwise grace is not longer grace." - Romans 11:6a There is bondage in feeling as if you are continually "missing the mark." Performance-oriented people experience difficulty resting in God, which is linked to God's grace. We can spend many years believing that God is disappointed in us if we didn't quite measure up to His standards. We can also be deceived into believing that God's blessings are linked to how well we perform – as if His blessings were dependent upon our "good behavior" or "religious performance." This false belief sets us up for even more failure and disappointment. It becomes cyclical. If we are ashamed, there is no confidence to boldly run to Him for grace and empowerment to transform. Shame and guilt robs us of our confidence to run boldly into God's arms – in fact, it causes us to run away from Him! God knows we will never be perfect. He does not desire perfection due to our own strength for that would be "deserved favor." Grace is undeserved favor. The Lord desires for us to know that He is daily perfecting us through His divine grace. To believe that "it is up to us and our own ability to become transformed" is to believe that "the finished work at the Cross was not effective". Jesus Himself was perfect and, therefore, we are blessed and empowered to live holy through Him. "through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." - Romans 5:2 Many of us have been blinded concerning how to receive God's blessings. The Accuser of the Brethren has lied to us and said that God's blessings are based upon "works" rather than simply because God loves us. Remember God IS love! You cannot separate God from love. He blesses us simply because He loves us. WALKING IN THE SUPERNATURAL AND DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably..." - Hebrews 12:28 Many might ask what the connection is between grace and the supernatural. We can't walk in the supernatural without His grace! Our faith needs to rest upon Jesus and the price He paid for the sick to be healed, the poor to be blessed, people to be set free, etc. If we focus on Jesus and His ability to heal the sick many of us would experience more miracles. Because we haven't seen the miracles for which we cry out, many times we feel that we didn't "perform" well and, as a result, we will shrink back from stepping out and praying for the sick or for demons to flee, etc. When Jesus came to earth, He brought Heaven with Him. He came so that He could live in us – we became the Tabernacle for the Spirit of God. It is His ability in us that will empower us to experience more of the supernatural. "To them God has chose to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27 RIGHTEOUSNESS "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21 Some of you may also believe that you are not "righteous" enough for God to use you. When the word "righteousness is mentioned," many people immediately think that it involves more performance and perfect behavior – a list of "do's and don'ts" from God. Righteousness is a gift from God and cannot be earned! (SeeRomans 5:17). Be assured that you are already righteous in Christ. His Spirit lives in you and, therefore, you are qualified to walk in the supernatural! We need to step out and do it! The Accuser of the Brethren has yoked many of us with guilt and shame because when we "mess up," we believe it has affected our righteousness. If you are hearing those words from the enemy, then he has targeted your future. ACHIEVE YOUR FUTURE The Accuser of the Brethren came against many in the Bible who God used mightily. The Bible is full of stories about people who were living in ordinary circumstances and empowered to do the impossible. God sees much in you! He desires for you to boldly run to His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16)right now to receive a fresh empowerment to achieve HisPURPOSE for your life (yourDESTINY in Christ). Don't allow past shame or guilt to hold you back any longer. The Lord desires to release His blessings to you today. Receive it; believe it and it is yours! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Years before I came back to God, I was under the impression that there would be no more church for me. I had these childhood thoughts in my mind that if I went to church again someday people would judge me. If they did ridicule me or look down at me, how could I blame them? In 2003 I was still on the streets of Brooklyn as a connected guy to the Colombo family. To all those who knew me, I was just what I had always been: a mafia-connected thug. But I had a secret. I had been working for the FBI since 1996. I was playing the role of a criminal at this point. The operation was only supposed to last for six months to a year, and here I was in my seventh year. It had taken it’s toll on me, both mentally and physically. I was in the life, but not really – a kind of limbo. I was constantly facing what all of my actions and decisions had done to people. It had taken it’s toll on me, both mentally and physically. I was in the life, but not really – a kind of limbo. I was constantly facing what all of my actions and decisions had done to people. One day stands out for me during this time. I was out with Uncle Manny driving around to construction sites. Uncle Manny was giving me my daily lesson on mafia wisdom. It was the mafia’s form of indoctrination. We were up in the Bronx when I received a call from Eddie G, a Colombo associate who ran a trucking business. Eddie G wanted to know where I was at that moment. I told him where I was at, and he told me I had to come see him at his truck yard on Staten Island. I must have looked upset because Manny asked me what was going on. I told him Eddie G wanted me to go to his yard ASAP. Manny asked me if I wanted him to come with me. Eddie G was Manny’s nephew, so really what good would that do? I was scared right then and I had good reason to be afraid. In the life, nobody wants to get sent for out of the blue. So many thoughts were going through my mind, did they know the truth about me? I got back to my place in Brooklyn and was soon in my car. I called the FBI and the New York office was closed, it was after business hours. I called the Los Angeles office and got ahold of an agent I knew. I told him where I would be going. He told me I did not have to go, but in my mind, I had to, because if you did not come when sent for, it was over. The drive was thirty minutes, which was mostly a blur. I kept thinking, “This is it.” I hoped it would be quick. I thought about my family. Would anyone ever know what happened to me? I didn’t pray, but I thought I could just ask Jesus to forgive me before I died and I would be okay. I pulled into the yard and Eddie was standing outside yelling at some guy. He smiled when he saw me and motioned me over. He told the guy to beat it and then he shook my hand. He said, “Let’s walk and talk.” He then told me he was putting together a fund to buy our capo a truck for Christmas. Instant relief! You never saw anyone give up four grand faster than me that day. That cash was out of my pocket and in his hand in seconds, and I would live another day. Did I learn anything? I guess not, because I kept doing the same thing for years. I felt almost as much dread the day I went to the church in San Marino after thirty plus years of walking away from the one I attended as a kid. I thought that anyone there would know I was a fraud. I thought they would stare and speak under their breath about me. It had been almost ten years since I left New York and my life in the underworld. I had gotten my life on a better track, but it was still empty, missing something. I also carried around a lot of guilt from my former life, which made it hard for me to get close to others. I felt that sharp intake of breath that I had felt on the street with a slight burning sensation in my stomach when I stepped into the church. Once we started singing and then when the sermon started, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. I have never felt so welcome and so at peace as I did that day when the service was over. I found my way to Jesus and I was then fulfilled. I signed up for and began attending Bible study the next week. I read the Gospels, and if you read them you’ll see the people Jesus chose to minister too. He did not pick out the rulers, priests, rabbis or wealthy merchants. He often chose regular people and those looked down on in the society, like a fisherman and a tax collector. I read about Saul Tarsus who would become Paul later in life. He was not who you would think Jesus would pick to be his disciple, yet it was who he picked. Jesus appeared to him on the road. Saul had been a persecutor of Christians, but after his encounter with Jesus, he would be one of his strongest missionaries. I understand Saul. I went from meeting in truck yards, planning ways to make more money for a criminal organization, to today studying and sharing the word with anyone who will listen and spending time with fellow believers. This is my second chance.
  6. I have been made right in God's sight and at peace with God because of my faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1 I reign as a king in the realm of life through Jesus Christ because I receive God’s abundant provision of forgiveness and the gift of righteousness. - Romans 5:17 Since we have become one with Him in His death we are raised to life in the likeness of His resurrection. - Romans 6:5 I consider myself to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. - Romans 6:11 The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. - Romans 8:2 I am a Son of God since I am led by the Spirit of God. - Romans 8:14 I am called according to His purpose to be conformed to the image of His Son.- Romans - 8:28,29 God, who delivered up His own Son for me, freely gives me all things. - Romans 8:32 In all things I am a conqueror through Him that loves me. - Romans 8:37 The word of faith is in my mouth and in my heart. - Romans 10:8 I am saved since I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord of my life and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. - Romans 10:9 With my mouth I confess my salvation and with my heart I am put right with God. - Romans 10:10 The Lord richly blesses me when I call on Him. - Romans 10:12 Since I am a believer, when I call upon the name of the Lord I am saved. -Romans 10:13 Faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God. - Romans 10:17 I present my body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, dedicated to His service and pleasing to Him. - Romans 12:1 I am not conformed to this world; but am transformed by the renewing of my mind; that I might know the will of God - what is good, and is pleasing th Him, and is perfect. - Romans 12:2 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Isaiah 9:7 - "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end......" How important is increase to God? Jesus once cursed a fig tree for not bearing fruit out of season (Mark 11:13-14)! A man in one of His parables was cast into outer darkness for burying his money and not obtaining an increase for his master (Matthew 25:24-30). When the main goal of our faith is keeping us safe from the devil, our faith becomes inferior to what God expects. Jesus had in mind more for us than survival. We are destined to overcome. Every conversion plunders hell. Every miracle destroys the works of the devil. Every God encounter is an Invasion of the Almighty into our desperate condition. This is our joy. Affirmations: I FORGET THE PAST AND REACH FOR THOSE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME. I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. Do I have an increase or a survival consciousness? What fruit am I bearing today - in season or out of season? 2. What conversion, miracle, or God encounter have I experienced recently? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. Is living the life of faith where our only source is the invisible God and the Integrity of His word attainable in todays world?
  9. From Glory to Glory (Read 1 Peter 1 & Colossians 1) 2 Corinthians 3:18 18But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (As children of God, part of our inheritance is experiencing the glory of God and being transformed into new levels of His glory. Each level of glory carries with it a particular blessing and thrill for the believer. In understanding the glory of God there are two aspects to consider – the aspect of experiencing and the aspect of being transformed into His glory.) 1 Peter 1 :7-8 7so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 8and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory Jude 1:24-25 24Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Psalm 24:6-7 & 149:4-5 6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face—even Jacob. Selah.7 Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O £ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! 4For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.5Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds. (To experience the glory of God is to experience His manifest presence. It is to be beyond an abstract understanding of His omnipresence to knowing that God Himself is there with you, tangibly in your midst. The Hebrew word for glory (KABOD) is also the word for weight. When the bible speaks of the “glory” it is not speaking so much of something aglow as of something with substantial force to it. When the glory of God is in a place something forceful, weighty, and mighty is present in the spiritual realm. People can recognize it. They will want to be there. The glory of God is the full weight and quantity of His attributes and perfections. The glory of God is essentially that He is and does.) Some ways to experience God’s glory: An overwhelming sense of His utter holiness; when all we can do is bow and worship Him in awe. Experience a great sweep of His joy that bring deep refreshing to our spirits. The born-again experience of His saving grace. We may catch a fresh glimpse of His mighty power, causing new faith to arise in us. These kinds of experiences may be quite occurrences in our devotional times, however the manifestation of His glory may be a dramatic supernatural manifestation of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4,6 4in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 6For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. Colossians 1:27 27to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Becoming transformed by the glory of God is central to the Christian life. The very character and ways of God were exhibited through Jesus when He walked the earth. Jesus was the incarnation of God’s glory, weighted heavily with divine attributes. Christ is our hope of glory. Through Him we are being made into carriers of the glory of God. As believers in Christ, we are to be in a position of being transformed into the image of Christ – and that means mirroring the glory or characteristics of God.) 2 Corinthians 3:18 - But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (Why is it necessary to move from glory to glory? Isn’t one glory as good as the next? The answer is no. The reason is because in every season of glory we experience a new order that God brings into our lives as we mirror His image to a greater extent. But then we begin to add a new method – a subtle plan or strategy of how we operate in that order, which is our own way of implementing what we have learned from God. We must resist the temptation to become legalistic or build binding doctrines around a truth that God revealed around a season of glory because these tenants (beliefs) can prevent us from moving forward when the time comes to change the seasons in our lives. If we do not allow God to move us from glory to glory we will get caught up in living in the old season as the Holy Spirit moves us to becoming more like Christ. The methodology of the old season will not propel us into a new season. We need something new and fresh. We need a new glory.) Psalm 22:3 3Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel. (All throughout God’s word we see that God is enthroned in praise. We glorify Him through our worship. That is why praise and worship are essential in experiencing God’s glory. Praise is the element of celebration that can transport us into the throne room of God. Once we are in the throne room at His feet we need to worship and adore Him. As we worship Him in that intimate place He begins to reveal His glory to us. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Romans 15:13 - "May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing -- through the experience of your faith--that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope." Hope is a devine dream. It's an inner image that's bigger than you are because it's built on the promises of God. Example: If the doctor told you that you will never walk then you see yourself climbing mountains and bringing the word of God to hurting people. You find in scripture (Isaiah 40:31) where it says those who wait on the Lord shall run and walk and not faint or be weary. You look at it until you see nothing else. Picture yourself walking for miles and running from one place to the next, telling everyone -- Jesus as raised you up and made you whole. Affirmations: Today I am becoming a dreamer. I take the word of God and build some dreams.....NOW! Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart." Matthew 24:45 - "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household?" The word tells us that God shows Himself strong in behalf of those whos hearts are "perfect" toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). "Perfect" doesn't men that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. It means "devoted" -- a heart consecrated, dedicated, loyal and faithful to God. Who is faithful? The one who spends his time doing what God as called him to do -- or as Jesus put it, the one who takes up his cross and follows him. The one who denies his fleshly desires and spends his life on the things God desires him to do. AFFIRMATIONS: Today I decide to be a faithful and wise servant. I find out what is stealing my time from the Lord. I take up Jesus' thoughts today. I take up His purposes and plans. Now is the time to be faithful! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Romans 10:10 - "For with the heart man beleiveth unto righteousness......." Romans 5:17 - "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Paul makes two significant statements about righteousness: 1. With the heart man believes unto righteousness. 2. When we receive Jesus and we are born again, we receive "the gift of righteousness." Righteousness is a gift. Too often we have associated righteousness with "good works." The Bible teaches good works and right conduct, but all of our good works and right conduct will never make us righteous. If good works made us righteous, we wouldn't need Jesus. Another fallacy about righteousness is that we've thought we had to grow into some kind of "high spiritual state" to be righteous. We can grow in the Lord and we can develop spiritually, but we cannot grow in righteousness. We will never be any more righteous than we are right now! 2 Corinthians 5:17,21 - "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. For he hath made him (God has made Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." Matthew 6:33 -- "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. In Christ we become new creatures. In Him we become the righteousness of God when we are born again (verse 21). This righteousness we are told to seek is not right behavior, but RIGHT STANDING before God, which comes to us as a gift when we receive salvation. Romans 4:5 -- "But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness." We are not righteous because of how morally upright we are. We are not righteous because we exercise self-control. We are not righteous because we read 10 chapters of the Bible daily. We are not righteous because we feel righteous. We are the righteousness of God in Christ solely because the sacrifice of Jesus made us so. When we believe this, our faith is accounted for righteousness. If we are righteous by our deeds, we don't need faith. We also don't need faith to know that we are sinful. But we do need faith to believe and declare that we are the righteousness of God in Christ, in the midst of our struggles with temptation and sin. At the cross, Jesus didn't just remove our sins, He also gave us His righteousness so that today, we can come boldly before the throne of God and receive freely everything that He died to give us! Affirmations: I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, not my own righteousness, and "all these things shall be added to me." I expect good things to happen to me because blessings are on the head of the righteous (Proberbs 10:6). I am righteous only because of the blood and finished work of Jesus at the cross. 12. Hi all. My friends and I just finished a new video. It's an attempt to provide some rational explanation as to how the rise of Isis could fit in with Bible prophecy. I look forward to some stimulating discussion on this issue.
  13. The sixth place Jesus shed His blood was where a soldier shoved a spear into His side and blood and water poured out. Jesus died from a broken heart -- from the weight of our sin. It is a physical phenomenon that when a person's heart bursts, the water and blood of his body flow together. When Jesus announced His ministry in the synagogue, He read from the scroll: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed." (Luke 4:18) Jesus was anointed with the power to heal the brokenhearted because God desires for His people to live in joy. When we are filled with joy, we have the strength to fight the good fight of faith. Nehemiah 8:10 - "The joy of the Lord is your strength." His heart was broken so our hearts could be made whole. We overcome the wounds of broken hearts by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus became our sin so we wouldn't have to sin. He became our sickness so we wouldn't have to be sick. He became our broken heart so we wouldn't have to have a broken heart. Jesus came to restore our joy Psalm 138:8; 147:3 - "The Lord will accomplish what concerens me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Affirmation: TODAY I ALLOW THE HEALING POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS TO DELIVER ME FROM ALL PAIN, SORROW, AND GRIEF. I LET HIM FILL ME WITH THE JOY OF THE LORD AND LET THAT JOY BECOME MY STRENGTH, NOT JUST FOR TODAY, BUT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Spiritual abortion or spiritual birthing are facilitated by what?
  15. Luke 18:5,6 - "The judge ignored her for a while, but eventually she got on his nerves. 'I fear neither God nor man,' he said to himself, 'but this widow is so great a nuisance that I will see her righted before she wears me out with her persistence.' Then the Lord said, 'if even an evil judge can be worn down like that, don't you think that God will surely give justice to his people who plead with Him day and night?" The parable concerns a widow who desperately implores a judge to give her legal protection from an adversary, but she receives NO IMMEDIATE HELP. She refuses to be DISCOURAGED from her quest: she persists until she gains her BREAKTHROUGH. The goal of Christ's teaching was to immunize His followers against DISCOURAGEMENT. Jesus assures us that God will hear us as we turn to him in PERSISTENT prayer. Affirmations: I BELIEVE THAT WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED HE IS ALSO ABLE TO PERFORM. GOD IS GREAT, GOD IS ABLE, GOD IS GOOD, AND GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD. SINCE CHRIST IS IN ME I AM UPHELD BY THE "SPIRIT OF GOD" Hebrews 1:3 - "Who being the radiance of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." 16. Luke 8:47 is the story of the woman who had an issue of blood who desperately pressed through the crowd to lay hold of the hem of Jesus' garment: "Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed." When she reached out and touched Him, full of faith and expectation, Jesus stopped and said, "Who touched Me? His disciples replied, "Lord, many are touching you...we are in a crowd!" But Jesus said, "No, someone purposely touched Me because I felt virtue/power go out of Me." (See verse 45-46). And the woman was immediately made whole. GOD IS WAITING ON US TO SET THE TIME Most of the time when Jesus was healing the crowds of people He was doing that which He saw the Father doing. But in this instance it wasn't Jesus that "set the time" for this woman's miracle, but rather the woman "set the time" through her faith, desperation and determination. Many times when we are believing for a miracle we may feel we have positioned ourselves and we are waiting on God, when in fact, God is waiting on us to activate our faith to "set the time" for the release of the supernatural turnaround. In the words of John G. Lake, "If the Spirit doesn't move me, then I move the Spirit!" Now is the time for us to "set the time" and put a demand on the anointing of God to release miracles of provision, turnaround and healing. Pull your future miracle into the NOW by activating your faith and pressing into His presence as never before. Remember, every day is Jubilee when you are in Christ! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. One of the dimensions of living the way of Christ, besides living a life of love, forgiveness, and service is embracing the spirituality of DOWNWARD MOBILITY. This is a willingness to modify our career, change our location, or whatever other sacrifices we are called to make, for the sake of following Christ's purpose for our life (our destiny). Jesus came so that His Blood may cover our sins. His grace and mercy overflow to us so that we may be all that He has created us to be. He is determined to help us find our destiny into His perfect plan for us. His grace has made it possibe for us to see our destines fulfilled. SIEZING OUR DESTINY Nothing takes the place of stepping out of your comfort zone and out on the limb. Faith is always spelled R-I-S-K! In order to seize your destiny -- step out, God's not only good, He will catch you if you fall and help you to get up and try again! Don’t worry about the people in your past, for the Lord placed them there. He has an important reason why they won’t appear in your future. "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 Are we willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? 18. A Mocking Bird’s lonely song What is considered early in the morning will vary from person to person and place to place. Since we have our Vigil’s at 4 AM, after being here for a few years, that time seems like 6 AM. I am lucky I love the morning hours so when I sometimes wake up at 1:30 and feel refreshed, I like to go for walks, for it is not really that early here. Around the buildings, in our front parking lot by the bakery and also up to the store we have lighting. I find the sunlight too bright for me and the sun too hot, so I seldom go out during the day and now that I am older, I have to wear sunglasses in order to be outside. So the coolness of the night and the darkness are soothing to me. The night lights to me are very restful and calming. So it is a nice environment to be out and to take a nice slow walk. Most mornings I see some deer. Most run when they see me walking, some others just continue to eat. With a very few I can come up about three feet from them and they don’t seem to mind. However if I stop then they start to fidget and stomp their hoof on the ground….then the run off. Yet, there are even a smaller number who seem curious about who and what I am. I guess they figure I am not going to eat them, so a few times a deer has come right up to me, say about three feet and just looked at me. It almost seemed as if they were trying to make some sort of breakthrough in their awareness. One even shook her head and turned away slowly and went back to eating. Deer are beautiful, but for some reason people think they are dainty, when the opposite is true. Their hoofs are very sharp and the strength in their legs is astounding, so I do have a lot of respect for them. At this time, because the bridge that is on the road of our frontage property on 212 is being rebuilt so there is no traffic at all passing us by. So the silence is profound, beautiful and uninterrupted, some mornings the insects are even silent. About two weeks ago, on such a silent morning, as I was returning to the retreat house and was in the parking lot that the bakery sets on, the last tree on the left suddenly became alive with the song of a Mocking Bird. One bird call after another was loudly and joyously sung. So I stopped and listened. Then I noticed there was no response, just this one bird calling out getting no response….yet it continued. It brought out a pang of sadness in me and I wondered about that. As I started to ponder this, I began to see that in some way this bird reminded me of mankind. Even those of us who have deep faith, we do not always get the response we would like from the Infinite One, in fact many of us may never get one. Yet like the Mocking Bird we persist in our prayer of longing for connection. The Mocking Bird perhaps is simply responding to an instinct to mate, as well as making out territory for itself, something powerful and it can’t do otherwise. I envy animals because they are not burdened with the depth of self awareness that we have, they know what they need to do and without thinking do it. We question, struggle and seek to find answers to life’s mysteries. I believe that prayer is a universal response to the world and its often incomprehensible presence in our lives. We can marvel at its beauty, or be terrified at its seeming indifference to us. This reality drives many deeper into faith, into seeking what is behind this wonderful, awful, beautiful and tragic world. Those like the Mocking Bird who continue in their prayer life, find that in spite of themselves deep changes take place slowly over the years. They also learn that prayer is not a protection to the ups and downs of life, yet it gives a center to stand from, a relationship with Infinite-Mystery and in that even aging seems like a grace, for we begin to understand that all stages in our lives are good, but each succeeding stage on our pilgrimage is more important than the one proceeding it. So our last years take on a depth of meaning that younger people may not have any inkling of. I certainly did not. So we continue to sing, in spite of suffering, and in our unconscious futile desire to make prayer into some sort of magic where we can control our lives and get through it unscathed. This is impossible of course. For like that Mocking Bird singing hopefully for a response, it will one day be silent, it will no longer be part of this world…..so it is with us, though unlike the Mocking Bird we are saddled with the knowledge that we will one day cease to exist as far as this world is concerned. So like Mother Theresa, many go through life living in the darkness of faith, yet, in their seeking they continue out of true love and the desire for truth….for me these are the great souls closer to the mystery than those of us who do not live there all the time. Faith is a gift, yet we do have to respond, be open and deal with doubts. Yet why should doubt get the last word, why not let doubt drive us deeper in the mystery instead of escaping into skepticism and atheism. For the Christian the New Testament points to the reality of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is because of that and that only that it was written in the first place. Without the Resurrection, Jesus was just another failed messianic figure, so common in his lifetime.—Br.MD
  19. Hi all, My friends and I have made a short video giving a brief update on our thoughts regarding how the Brexit could relate to prophecy. We're not interested in sensationalism, but we do see that there are significant developments in world politics happening which bear a strong resemblance to what we see in prophecy. The video is a few minutes long and represents only a brief introduction to how we view this event as possibly being important. I look forward to hearing what others think of our suggestions.

  21. Hi all. This is the first chapter in an animated video series (of 25 chapters) detailing how prophecy could play out in practical reality. It's a work of fiction, but I believe it does a pretty good job of lining up with prophecy and the spirit of Jesus' teachings from the gospels. In the first episode America is destroyed in a surprise military strike by Russia, which brings about a domino effect for a series of further prophetic events. The story focuses on a family who is forced to take shelter in the basement; they had always believed that they would be raptured before all the trouble started. Now they must come to terms with what's happening around them and find a way forward through the coming years. 21:19

  23. Do you feel and believe that Christians should be able to share their Faith as a Personal Ministry, and have FB Groups as well I personally do that as well through graphic Art (Created Christian Art) and I have 2 Christian groups only in a few other Christian fb groups. I see Jesus Can Use Social Media but 1 must use Great Spiritual Insight and Wisdom.
  24. What would you consider non-negotiables and non-essentials to the Christian faith? I came across this article and this picture. Thought I'd ask the Worthy family. God bless, GE
  25. F A I T H ........ A key in Christian life Many times i have failed to maintain the right faith before God We need faith before God, faith before people.. Some times faith may not work.. in this world But before God it works So i am writing little stuff here on ''FAITH'' topic Thank you Jesus.... to learn on faith .................................................................................................. F A I T H (part 1) A key matter before people and God.. Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. FAITH is a great property in some saints lives in old testament They lived with faith... They never failed in faith matters FAITH is very key in our lives before Lord 1. It is substance of things hoped for 2. Evidence of things not seen. STEP 1 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Here John saying.. because we keep His commandments, and do thonse things are pleasing in His sight.. STEP 2 Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Here Jesus saying, you need to believe me.. this is like commandment... STEP 3 Keep faith because God is good in all .... all time.. He is love ... TO KEEP FAITH... MAIN OBJECTS ARE..... 1. GOD ............ Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 3 : 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He is author to make faith in our hearts.. 2. CHRIST.............. John 6: 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. He died to keep us holy,, this can tell us to keep our faith holy.. He is died for us, buried for us and rose for us 3. GOSPEL............. Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. If gospel is not given to us.. we may perish Jesus ... died 2000 years back.. These generations not seen the fact and what God did for them So if Gospel is not reached to us.. we may perish.. 4. PROMISES OF GOD............... Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. OH wonderful blessing to read this verse.. God is not liar. Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. ........ yes they are great mentors to us.. they kept strong faith in God.. Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Wonderful call is this.. He is promising us to feed and give better life Thank you Jesus... Dear brethren ... we need to keep our faith in all times ,...Many times we are failing to keep our faith clean and strong.. . God bless you all (second part to this topic will write soon)
