I'm going to coninue the study next week....PROMISE. The Lord's had me really busy lately.

To answer your question, trav., I'm not sure if order of birth has any significance. I'll have to look into it. I do know that the firstborn always gets a double portion of the land, but I'm not sure how this applies as far as the stones are concerned.

30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, For the son of the bondwoman shall not be an heir with the son of the free woman.”

31 So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.

So, because of the previous post, I would ask why the person said Rev 21 is the first place this is mentioned. Gal 4 is not only earlier but shows that it was built off of material in Isaiah,etc., and was happening at the time of Paul. He sees it as sort of hovering over the sad one below.

The person who spent so much time on light in the city didn't quote that "the Lamb is the light" which alters what we normally think of as light!

The New Jerusalem is clearly described as a square with accurate measurements. Why would an angel give the information of its size which is about 1500 miles x 1500 miles?
