I agree with the "and also after that" part and that Goliath was one as OG and others. If we are living in the "as it was in the days of Noah" period then it would imply it is happening now as well, but they have perhaps refined the process to not be quite the same, physical giants I mean.

I am not sure Nimrod was the first to do so, but he did occultic practices, and he was very powerful in the evil he was doing.

Hi ..interesting stuff...a bit quirky,but nevertheless interesting.

I still have a problem getting my head around the idea that a spirit being can impregnate a human being and they can produce offspring. I have read the various accounts many times and considered Og would have been head and shoulders taller than Goliath if his bed was a fair indication of his stature.

In Genesis it states...Gen 7:14 ...they, and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

It is always after its kind. You cannot cross a chicken with a hedgehog.

Similarly the difficulty you have with an angelic being is threefold...firstly it is of a different substance...secondly it is of a different estate..and thirdly they are sexless and do not pro-create.Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven. ...at least that is my understanding to date.

What's it mean: I'm suggesting that just as all are 'begotten' by Adam, so the 'begat' of Nimrod simply points to him as coming from that family line, like a grandson, great grandson, or grandson's 2nd coulsin twice removed.....

Botz: You neglected to finish the passage you cited. Jesus said: "They neither marry, nor are given in marriage, because they are as the angels, and are the sons of God." This is a clear Scriptural citation for how Jesus understood the Old Testament reference to 'sons of God.' Jesus understood 'sons of God' to refer to angels!

Not also he does not say: "They CANNOT marry, or be given in marriage..." rather they "DO NOT............."

If I say "Policemen do not shoot innocent people, and cannot fly by flapping their arms," you would understand that policemen do indeed shoot innocents, but are not supposed to, but that flight by means of arm-flapping is impossible for them (an unfortunate condition caused by over indulgence in circular pastries!).

In the same way, these angelic beings may be able to reproduce physically, as they seem to show every common capability of humans...plus. Many references in the Scripture show angels mistaken for human beings, as they seem to be able to, 'incarnate' themselves at times.

Well, right off the bat the article gives some pretty questionable info about the Hebrew. Every credible scholar knows the Hebrew shoresh NPL means 'fall.'
