Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Lady C: I think we need to reevaluate just how much actual space the Scriptures give to the devil. It really is not very much. He is not a major topic..........

Charlie: Just talking about the demonic doesn't attract it, I think it depends on the speech used. Once when I was preaching, I opened by saying, "Tonight I'm going to talk about the devil. Now I know that a lot of people say 'Oh, if you talk about the devil, he'll just come around to see who is glorifying him.' Well, after I'm through, if you really feel I've glorified the devil, you just come up and tell me; AND I PROMISE TO TALK ABOUT YOU THE SAME WAY!"

With a blessing,

Leonard, a sinner

:o I like that....

Whew lol!

I do agree that we are being bombarded now-a-days. It used to be that people didn't "talk" about strange happenings because they didn't want people to think they were strange. I think the "veil" , if that's the right word to use, is thinning.

ahhh, but scripture does talk a great deal about satan, and how we are to handle him. dealing with demons was a significant portion of Christ's ministry, and a cause for great concern among those who kept his ministry going after his death and ressurection.

Brother TRZ, Blessings upon you :o

Have you had a chance to discuss with your wife how uncomfortable this subject is to you? I really feel that if you two just get together and have some good old fashioned communication that you can come to a compromise about her need to discuss this and your feelings about hearing about it. :o As husband and wife and partners and friends it is only natural that we want our spouse to be comfortable with the things we discuss; meaning we don't intentionally want to force them to hear about things that are upsetting to them. Be sure as her husband to cover her in prayer daily and let the enemy be aware that despite how you feel about discussing spiritual warfare that she is your love and your wife and you are her protector. Go to our Lord on bended knee and see what it is He has to tell you about all of this, what He is wanting you to know and be aware of. Remember, He didn't give you a spirit of fear and it is His desire that you conquer through Jesus any fear he, the enemy, is trying to instill in you even on the level of just being uncomfortable. My discernment tells me that your wife is in need of prayer in this area and the enemy is playing upon how you feel about it to keep you from standing in the gap for her.

Lastly, remember that love conquers all things. :o

Praying for you daily on this.

Love through our Jesus for both of you,

Ref

My wife is always telling me stories of spiritual warfare and satanism things and all that she and her workmates are experiencing (most are christians). She works in a christian organisation.

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable with all these graphic stories about spiritual warfare or acts of satanism.

Do you think it is right to always talk about these things? How much should christians talk about the devil and what he is doing? Some times I hear people say: " let's not talk about the devil, lets talk more about what God is doing" others say, "we need to expose these acts that are happening in our churches "- or something like that!

What has been your experience?

T

Well I would say in order to adress what is right, and wrong, people need to first, recognize all the truth of the bible, and embrace all the truth, otherwise they will say, and do things which are not in accord with God's will through Christ

Here comes my two cents as an ex-satanist bought back by Jesus almost 8 years ago:

In my struggle to separate myself to God, I've encountered many many attacks of all sorts from both demons, and humans in the spirit and flesh. I feel that in talking about spiritual warfare experiences we can sharpen our swords so to speak, so that others can know how to react if placed in a similar situation. Most of our poor sisters' pain is probably coming from christians that don't feel that God works in the ways she sees him work. She of all people knows the importance of putting on the armor every day, and that sin starts at the first thought. Catch it there, rebuke the spirit that sent that assignment, and fear nothing but God! I have been pulled out in "dreams" the spirit both by God, and satanists. The sword of the spirit truly is the word of God. Even when he allowed them to pull me out to try to curse me, it always worked out to his glory when I kept myself from hating the human, binding their demons from any communication with them, and looking at them with all the love of God in my eyes while saying," Jesus loves you even now." I believe that a major attack on the U.S. will occur on Dec 25 this year. Seattle, San Francisco, and New York. All within 24 hours. Do not be afraid when these events occur, but rather rejoice that it is as a sign to those with blind eyes that God can and will deliver his called from evil. Don't jump the gun, and come against me now. Wait and see. I'll be here then to encourage and pray with anyone in fear, or need. God is raising an army of visionaries, and we should encourage them to cleave as close to Jesus as he'll allow. These are the ones that will fill the empty offices built into the throne of the Father.

-and since spiritual warfare is how we GROW in our relationship with Christ, it seems that people who don't recognize satan's tools of spiritual warfare don't mature in their walk very fast.

ever wonder why, if satan isn't something that is so significant, why the Bible dedicates SOOO much time discussing him?

-uhhhhh-LadyC--maam--I ain't following you around but mebby I need to--it seems like YOU are on a Spiritual onslaught against the devil-- :o:o:D:D

-& thank yuse so mucho--- :P:D:D -there's entirely TOO many christians that don't know diddly about the devil but they "think"??they do-& are quite free with their erroneous assumptions---I have "seen" this over an extended period of time & it is actually getting worse as far as knowledge of the Schemes & wiles of the devil & how to "Fight the good fight of faith" we are commanded to do{by Paul I think?}-There are some christians that have been "called"into this spiritual warfare

mostly because they were involved with the occult & know & recognize the tricks--deceptions-lies- wiles- of the devil & his cohorts--workers...

-There are folks that don't even consider the devil is relavent for today I guess they think all the fallen--angels--demons--evil-spirits all just UP & crawled into holes somewhere-??sssssssshhhheeesssshhhh- :D:o -----thank yuse again LadyC--Maam- :t2::t2::t2::D:o

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
