I can tell you that there are many thousands, perhaps millions of people who will tell you how much trance music is part of their past, which included some very strong mind altering drugs. They do go hand in hand.

No, they actually don't.

Tell that to those who were there. You were not, apparently, or you would understand.

You actually don't know where I was.

I listen to trance all the time........does that mean I'm under the influence of "some very strong mind altering drugs"?

Sometimes you act as if you're the only one who's ever been there.

Have you done acid and meth and been to a rave? If not, then curl up on your comfy chair and keep your headphones one and enjoy ...

I've not only done that stuff, I know how to make it. I can walk into any florist or greenhouse and walk out with a number of Psychotropic drugs that most people don't even know exist. Hallucinogens can be purchased legally at any WalMart, Target, etc.

I grew up in the world of drugs,....herion, acid, meth, dust, etc., needles, powder, smoke. I spent many years there. And in all those years, I've listened to many different types of music. Still do to this day. What I don't do, is crave drugs. If you can't listen to music without wanting to get doped up, you might want to draw a little closer to the Lord.

You're not the only one who's been there.....I could tell you some stories that would curl your toes.

I listened to humanoid's music, I think it's really good.

One person's weakness is theirs', and not everyone elses. You should remember that.

Go to youtube and do a search for "Sixth Seal - Approaching The Inevitable". That's trance. It's not everybodies cup of tea.

Why is it associated with drugs? I guess because someone listened to it once when they were stoned. And now everytime they hear it, they crave drugs.

As a side note.....if trance is to be associated with drug use, than so is every other type of music.

the song is actually a revamped and revised version of the first electronic song i ever composed with the program (about three months ago). so the foundation was set, i just needed to utilize the recent knowledge i had gained of the program to make it sound better. all in all it took me about 2 1/2 weeks.

but still regarding trance music, i'd just like to say once again that there are many sub-genres. all trance is not the same. my personal preference is what's referred to as uplifting/emotional/melodic trance which offers many heavenly, celestial and angelic songs.

many of these have helped me profoundly in my spiritual walk. for example, consider the quote:

"Trance is indisputably one of the most emotional genres that actually exists, because it is all self-interpretation. There are no instrumental or musical limits to trance, and rather than listening to some random guy screaming about his life, associating with a trance progression or hook line is much more deep, and much more personal."

because trance is not confined to a specific theme due to the artist's lyrics, you can pertain the song to anything you wish. most, if not all of the trance songs i've listened to i have related to things of christianity. one song sends me into heavenly contemplation, another on the reality of hell, evangelism, love and compassion, etc. and we all know that meditating upon these subjects is paramount to our spirituality as christians.

The sole mission of Christ was to glorify God and save souls, anything else is not Christ living. Nowhere do we see Jesus, the Apostles or the Prophets enjoying entertainment. If we listen to music it is for Gods glory and indirectly in effort to save souls.

All our work, fianance and efforts are for this end, anything else is serving another Jesus and not One who is revealed to us in scripture.

This does not mean of course that we are not to eat, sleep and have recreation, but that even these are for the one great goal of "working while it is still day for the night is comming when no man can work".

which i believe i've portrayed that it is more than possible to do.

in fact, i've found this genre of music more satisfying to my soul than any mainstream christian music (alternative rock with christian lyrics). john macarthur (well-known pastor/author) said that he does not like mainstream christian music at all, as he finds it very shallow and artificial. i am in total agreement with him.

unfortunately however, most christians are so immersed in hypocrisy that they think listening to anything besides christian rock music is blasphemous. what a pity!

but back to the main subject: time is short. we are approaching the inevitable. i've come to believe that the great tribulation/time of testing/day of the lord will begin with world war three (gog-magog invasion). god will be forced to protect israel from the invaders via a cataclysmic pole shift which will not just effect the invading countries, but the entire world. this pole shift is found in the description of the sixth seal. it will be supernatural timing...
