But what position did he hold in heaven? Where is it in the bible?

i could not find a passage to correlate unfortunatly but i remeber reading somewhere that Lucifer's job was to gather glory for God until he got too big for his briches and tried to steal the glory for himself.

O Lucifer; which properly is a bright and eminent star, which ushers in the sun and the morning, but here is metaphorically taken for the high and mighty King of Babylon........

Some understand this place of the devil, to whom indeed it may be mystically applied, but as he is never called this name in scripture so it cannot be literally meant of him, but the King of Babylon, as is undeniably evident from the whole context......

Satan was a Cherubh (Four Winger)

Ezek 28:14-15

14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers;

I established you;

You were on the holy mountain of God;

You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.

Now Satan was a Cherubh who used to be Perfect. And he has often been called "Angel of Light" but I do not agree

2 Cor 11:13-14

14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Satan is not the Angel of Light cause the Bible tells us that he transforms himself into an angel of light.

I believe Satan was the only a Cherubh who was made perfect until his fall.

Cherubhims were made by our Lord to serve us Humans but Satan wanted to be higher than God and messed it up.

Conclusion- Satan was made to serve Human Beings but before God made Man ...Satan rebelled and lost his place.

While this is true some expositors feel that these examples are an alliteration referring both to the Kings of Babylon and Tyre and satan himself. Some expositors also feel that the examples set forth do not describe a King of Babylon or Tyre who has yet existed but who will be the anti-christ who will be the head of a Kingdom that will rival the Kingdoms of Tyre and Babylon in their heyday. In other words, yet another alliterary phrase. The anti-christ is a man inhabited by satans person thus he is indeed lucifer personified.
