I have had this discussion before with other believers some say that it would prove evolution, Some say no it wouldn't what do you think How would finding life on another planet affect your faith?

I voted No it would not effect my faith, based on the fact I believe if there were ever found to be life on another planet that God made them too.

It would not prove evolution at all. It would mean that God decided to not inform us of all His creation, which, btw ... He has not told us everything, in case anyone is wondering.

My faith is in God and not in little green men. No, it wouldn't affect me.

I do not believe that God has entrusted our weak human psyche with all that is ... If life in some form were discovered on another planet, it proves nothing to me other than God, who is omnipotent and the Divine Creator of all things - created more than what we are able to comprehend within the scope of our planet and limited dimension. imo.

Ever since being born again and acquainted with the antics of the Enemy I stopped believing in Aliens. The Universe and in all its size and wonder was created to speak of God's Glory. That's all..

If Aliens beam down tomorrow and make selves known to man I would be VERY skeptical.

If they were proven that they were in fact not demons but REAL beings from other planets then it's an even greater Glory for God!

I would be surprised if life was found on other planets but, if it was, they would be God's creations just like us.

I am reading a book called "Life after Death" by Dinesh D' Souza. He talks about this matter in some depth as many scientist try to use life on other planets for being the cause of life on this one. If life on other planets exist then that life had to have come from someplace as well. As far as we know there is not life, it would be interesting to find life, although I think that we wont. Although there are some puzzeling facts on earth that make you wonder if the ancients had experienced visits or not. I dont know the country but there is a region were you can see creatures, and people, also lines like an airport carved in the earth, but they are only noticable with an airplane. That has always struck me as odd. Although I also believe in lost technology, basicly I think that the ancients were much more advanced than we think. They may have had technology even close to what we have. Somehow it was all lost and we de evolved. It would not effect my faith in Jesus Christ one bit I have a relationship with my God and how can anything tear me away from that.

I voted the same Spiritman. :sad030: And I agree, it would not affect my faith, it would only affirm it more since God is the creator of the universe.
