I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread on things we all really, really need to understand. Everyone's contributions are welcome.

So let me start with what I think is the very first thing we all really, really need to understand:

It was OUR sins that cried out on that terrible day "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!" and we are therefore all equally as guilty as those who were our mouthpiece.

I will add, grace is not a license to sin but that now we have received grace we have the power to NOT sin.

2 Corinthians 6:1

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain

Matthew 7:21

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."

i thought you have to do "x, y and Z" plus "a b and c." And to ensure that you did all those things then we'll use verify by "x" because if you didn't do "n" then

you can not be saved. He that has received salvation will do "x, y and Z" plus "a b and c" because he's "p."
