If I get delivered, there's someone or something , just standing in the shadows, waiting to put something in it's place. We ALL have something we are addicited to - God, our Kids, church, shoppong , coffee, soda pop, drugs washing our hands too much- you get the point. We should lift up one another in prayer , so that God can work in these areas of unhealthy addictions, I for one will pray! You put GOD in the list of unhealthy adictions. Just thought I would point that out. It IS possible to be addicted to God. She wasn't just talking about bad addictions, you know. a.

I am sure most if not all of us have had some addiction at one time, but the Lord has a way of setting us free. So, if anyone here does had a problem, please know you are not alone. May the Lord our God and His infinate mercy set you free in Jesus name.

I can say, that I'm addicted to worthy boards and it is also a place where I do a lot of ministring to the saints. OC

I think some are confusing the meaning of addiction as no one is addicted to air or water etc, addiction involves free will and we do not have free will to go with out these. Also no one is addicted to God, those who love Him do so from a free will and not from any compulsion. This is a serious topic as all addictions are idols and rebellion to God, they will lead to hell if persisted in. So many christians are decieved to think otherwise. Salvation is not a get out of jail pass, but a turning from all rebellion to Gods kingdom. Heaven would be hell if God let those in rebellion into it, and that is why there are two seperate places. On the topic of caffiene and all unescessary stilmulants and pastimes, these were not known by Jesus who we say is our LORD. It would be dishonest to give the impression I am addiction free, but even if I should go to hell it does not negate the truth.
