Mature Christians recognize the hand of God and he's in the business of seeing us saved not destroyed. It does not matter where your from. If you have not made Jesus Christ your Lord and savior then you too have made a pact with Satan. God will is to see all save and come to know him. Thousands may have lost their lives, but millions will accept because of the mercy he have shown to Haiti.

As long as you have breath in your body then you to can come to know him. Regardless of this countries tradition God is able to use them for his glory.

I know this country has been blinded with witchcraft, but as a follower of Christ I will do whatever I can do to love them as myself. How did we think God seen us before we accepted Jesus Christ.

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

I disagree. Pat has a huge prayer worrior group of people who watch his program daily and he often talks about things that need prayed for. If it were not for Chirs Matthews and Bil Oriley cutting his talk off at just about the worse point possible, I don't think any of this would be being discussed. Pat has discussed the Voodoo problem off and on for a very long time..... it's part of the reason he and his group is there.... spiritual batteling on their behalf.

his point wasn't on the voodoo problem. His comment was about the Haitian people making a pact with the devil to overthrow the french.

He said that the devil said "ok it's a deal."

actually, no, you're missing the point. the point wasn't the voodoo problem, nor was the point about some pact with the devil hundreds of years ago.

his point was that these people have a far deeper need than just the physical, and that they need restoration to God. that was his point, and that was his request... that everyone listening would pray to that end.

Well that would certainly apply to the United States and I do a agree with it.

As we slide toward the End I do think though that judgments from God will become more and more plain to see, these judgments as they become plain to see will be a tool for witness. We know from Matthew the signs that Christ gave us to watch for so watching for these signs is something that Christ told us to do. Many of those things Christ foretold have indeed come to pass and we are waiting for more.

I just feel we should be very very careful in how we identify what is going on, I am not sure Pat Robertson was careful in this case as he should have been.

spiritual battles are in the spiritual realm, not in our heads.

Now there are credible rumors surfacing that there are oil deposits in the Fort Libertie and coastal regions. You know the US wants to get its hands on that. Is the US attempting to secure Haitian Oil? Is that why Obama is sending US troops to Haiti instead of aid workers, supplies and doctors? In the next few days, months and years we will see continued US-UN occupation, more misery and more dependency; in the name of stability, security and humanitarianism. Now you know why Haiti is so poor.

Actually the US has sent troops, first aid medical teams (including surgeons and other specialists), food water supplies ect. In fact, we have a hospital ship there right now mending wounds and such. The ship can handle 30 to 50 patients at a time. The ship has 12 operating rooms and a 1,000-bed hospital on board, digital radiological services, a medical laboratory, a pharmacy, an optometry lab, an intensive care ward, dental services, a CAT-scan, a morgue, and two oxygen producing plants, completely outfitted with Nurses, docs, volunteers, antibiotics, bandages, food and water!. You can not tell me honestly that the US is not doing its part, when in fact it is doing more than most other nations!!!

Your post is the worst hodge podge of lies and rumor I've read in a long time. It's OUR fault that Haiti is poor? How dare you post this garbage; we have pumped more millions into that country than anyone can imagine and American doctors, nurses and engineers are there now. How dare you accuse our government of looking for oil there instead of trying to help these poor people? I want to see you post your credible sources for the accusations. If you can't, I want you to sit down and shut up. You're little diatribe is disgusting.
