Where did math come from?

But seriously, I would like to understand how atheists could explain where "math" comes from.

I don't mean the language and symbols we use and manipulate, but the principles from which we can create a language and symbol.

I mean, how could a discovery like this be made within a universe that came about without a creator?

Neb, I can't begin to recall the number of times that God has used maths to display concepts to me. It's amazing. Something like math isn't created, it already exists. It is discovered. Much like we didn't invent gravity, but discovered it. The more we uncover about the brilliance of mathematics, the more we can marvel at the beauty of His Creation. Praise God!

Math was created to torture poor souls like me. I would of been very happy in school if no math had been allowed to be taught.

Math started in India, not Persia as some would believe. The indians found the zero function.

I know this because in my final school year my math class was designated 10 E.

We used to say E for Enteligent And there was a lot of truth in that
