you are carrying all your burdens all by yourself, and not letting God or others help you. If you have friends (like Draigon or others) who are pleading with you for you to let them help you

It's better if people don't care . I'd rather not put it upon their shoulders anyway, it's mine, I'll deal or die if I'm weak. It's not too important either way, just the natural order of things. Anyway, I had my question answered. Thank you to the person who answered.

Better for who?

It's not really that you "put it upon their shoulders" so much as the ppl who care willingly want to take it upon themselves. I know it's a hard concept to grasp...especially if you've never experienced ppl genuinely care for you before. People who have had a hard life tend to become cynical (I know because I'm sometimes like that), but when even one person breaks through...it can change everything.

I understand that you had your question answered, but just know that because of the nature of your question, alot of ppl are still concerned. Tell us to stop caring all you want, it will do no good. Too late, we care.

I do not understand.

If you do not want people caring for you,

if you do not want people praying for you,

why are you sharing this with us?

why are you here?

Why not just start talking to Him? If you're hurt, tell Him. If you're angry, tell Him. If you're tired and weary and depressed, just talk to Him about it.

You've seen a big change in your friend Draigon. She is a new creature. You do beleive that, I'm sure. I'm sure you sense it and feel it and know it. So what's wrong? Do you feel that you don't deserve happiness? Your friend has moved on to a wonderful new life and you're stuck in your current misery because why? You don't deserve happiness? Don't believe the lies from the devil. No matter what you've done or where you've been, God WILL forgive you and love you. The Bible is so clear on that. THIS IS TRUTH MY FRIEND! You DO deserve happiness and a wonderful life with Christ! No matter where you've been or what you've done, Christ can change you. Christ WANTS to change you. He sees us differently than we see ourselves. He loves you. You have to know that is true.

In Jesus day, he met friends whose friend Lazarus had died. Jesus friends were crying because of the loss of their friend. Jesus told them that he would raise Lazarus from the dead, but the friends continued to mourn and then as the Bible says "Jesus wept". Jesus knew he was going to heal Lazarus so he didn't weep for the loss of Lazarus. Jesus felt empathy for his friends pain. He felt for them so much that he was moved to weep. He feels your pain too. He really does.

If you commit suicide, you'll be facing Him. Why not just face Him now? Tell Him the things you want to say and be honest with Him about everything. Give your burdens to God. He has asked us to do this.

Ok here we go. Let me see if I got this straight for everyone to understand.

Wix said..........

Suicide is sin, but why?

Until Death Do I Part

PS: May be wrong forum

Well Until death do us part referes to marriage. which has nothing to do with suicide. Suicide is usally only done by one person for the most part and for the sake of argumenet.

Now if you are critically ill in the recent past people called on Dr. Cavorkin for assisted suicide because they did not have enough strength to kill themselves and no longer had the will to live. However, it is still a sin because now you are commiting suicide and you asking another person to commit murder. The 10 commandments even say Thou shalt not commit murder.

Yes, suicide is a sin and the answer was given by Draigon as far as I'm concerened. Draigon said.........

wix, suicide is a sin, because you are still killing, no not others, but yourself, and you are taking your life, which should be in Gods hands!

However Wix, since you did not jump in to answer Draigon second question you started getting all of these responses. Perhaps you should answer Draigons question and people will leave you alone.

Draigon said...........

You are not thinking of doing this are you?!?!?! I don't want to lose a best friend *cries*

He is there, always

*Draigon*

It is apperent by Draigons deep and meaninful relationship with you that she is very concerened since you did not respond to her second part of the question.

It is not quit clear what your intentions are since you did not answer the question and are not giving anyone a direct answer. Sucicide is an issue not to be taken lightly and for those of who have either tried or had friends do this we are just concerened for your well being.

IF your intentions are to Kill yourself for whatever reason let me point out by this thread you have obviously been a very good friend Draigon. Perhaps if were not for your valuable relationship with her Draigon may not have re-comitted her life back to the Lord. So it looks to me like Your life is worth living if you can bring one person to Christ. It would be a crime and shame not just a sin if you were to kill yourself because if you been given the gift to bring one souls to christ you still have an opurtunity bring more lives to christ. IF you are to kill your self than you will never know who denied the freedom in christ that you apreantly have shown to Draigon. To kill your self would be a sin knowing you have changed a persons life to the Lord. You can not do that when you are dead at least not very well that I have seen.

Jesus Gave Me Hope

by Robert Dotson

I don't know what you're going through.

But, I wanted you to know,

I've struggled through,

Some hard times too,

When tears began to flow.

It was then I called on Jesus' name,

During a time I could not cope.

And, my circumstance was not the same,

For Jesus gave me hope!

He said, "My child come unto me,"

"And I will give you rest!"

"Just have faith and you will see,"

"I'll help you stand the test!"

His voice then calmed,

Life's troubled sea!

The billows ceased to roll!

A wonderful peace came over me,

As great joy filled my soul!

Now I've learned to trust in Him,

No matter, come what may!

And though life's path is often dim,

He'll guide me all the way!

Wix, (Sam)

The two most important commandments with the bible can answer this question.

In Matthew 22: 36-40 Jesus answers those who ask him which are the most important commandments.

"Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?" Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. That is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important. Love your neighbor as yourself. All the other commandments and all other demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

The ten commandments are clearly outlined within those two alone. If you do not love yourself, how can you truly say you love others? So this would explain the reason as to why suicide would be a sin. For in a person's ending his/her own life they have not only denied love for themselves, but for others, and most importantly for God.

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

Wix there's not much that I can say that someone hasn't already said. But I too have wondered if sucide is a sin. The reason I wanted to know is because I was thinking about ending everything. I don't mean to be dramatic but I thought that life could not get worse. I was wrong it did get worse. It didn't get better until I decided to actually trust in Jesus to help me. I gave Jesus my pain and hurt and rejecetion and he handles it much better then I did :P If you are thinking about comitting suicide please don't I am so glad that I didn't end my life. Just give life a chance you may never know what will be at the end of the road. And if Jesus is your guide you won't regret it. I will also pray for you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
