Jesus is the truth. There is no other. This is freedom.

Joh 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

:emot-hug:

When Jesus walked the earth, He was the 'human truth' of God.

There can only be freedom in Christ and never bondage....

You have to know and accept something as truth before it can set you free.

John 8 v 33:

They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, "You will be made free?" "

Jesus answered them, "Most assueredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.

V35:

And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.

V36:

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed! " Jesus NKJv

Interestlingly the greek here doesn't say truth, it says true. As in faithful not in correctness.

So more accuratley spoken, the faithfull shall set you free.

31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;

32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

33They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free'?"

This isn't a conversation dealing with us, 2000 years later...this was talking about and to Jews, how come? Because they made an agreement with God to be faithful and obedient and Jesus was claiming to be that Faithful One, the only One that could free them, but they were so blinded they didn't understand He was telling them about freedom form the law, just as those freed from Egypt wanted to go back, many didn't even know they were in need of freedom.

Jesus said to Jews, if you follow my teaching then you are faithful to me and you will know faith and that faith will free you from judgment from the law of sin and death.

Again, we were included into His victory, but not into this conversation between Jesus and Jew. Knowing what is correct won't set you free, but knowing that because of HIS faithfulness we have been included into the promises of God that will benifit you greatly.

Satan's tactic from the beginning has been to get people to believe lies. Whenever the truth is shone on anything, it gives them the freedom to see things as they actually are. People are only truly free when they operate in the truth

Amen HIS girl, Jesus Christ has set me free from the law, which brings bondage (Galatians 4:21-31).

Galatians 5:1-6

1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2) Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised. Christ shall profit you nothing.

3) For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4) Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5) For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6) For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

IMPO Lilly, the truth is Jesus Christ hath made us free from the bondage of the Law by our faith in Him (Galatians 5:1). So that if we wish to live by the law we are fallen from Grace (Galatians 5:4). But Jesus gave us a new commandment to love one another (John 15:12, and this of course would include to love God, Matthew 22:37-40). This is why Galatians 5:6 says faith worketh by love.

The truth that you believe sets you free. Jesus is who He said He was.... and yet many each day is dying and going to hell. Those who believe are saved. So yes the truth that you belive sets you free.... not truth itself.

God's blessing

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
