It's okay C.... If Char & I told you the secret football code language we'd have to share the secret handshake and .... well, we just can't do that. You understand, I'm sure. I still am not sure what Little lamb is talking about though - on that we are all confused, I think!

Are we to forgive people who aren't sorry for what they've done?

If it is the same situation, perhaps you are being tested again - we are to forgive others, it only hurts us more if we don't forgive others - even if they don't apologize. As Lady C said - could they be aware that they hurt you?

Do you think a person needs to ask for an apology? I don't know if this person even knows that I am upset about what he did. Should I tell him?

or'el, i know you asked the question of believer, but if you don't mind my answering, yes... the bible says that if your brother has offended you, that you should go to that person.

besides, on a more practical note, how can they ask forgiveness if they don't know they've hurt you?

but if, by some odd chance, the person learned of their offense and refused to apologize, scripture tells us we still must forgive. it's an act of obedience on our part.

Yes - I agree ... Or'el - did you address this issue with the person? It's possible they are not aware of how hurt you were... In any case - we are instructed to forgive. On a side note from that - the longer you hold onto a hurt - you are the one being hurt the most.

Someone mentioned storm and with all the clean up on our road all I can think of is that - I shall try to dig deep into the question when I read storm from now on - I'm glad not all storm mentions mean our storm.
