Tess,

I told you already you are a blessing to this board. Please stay and grow with us. We all have our growing pains, and meet up with people who we shoot sparks off of, but part of the growing up is learning to deal with those people gracefully. I have had some "hammer and chisel" experiences since I have been on this board, but I believe that the Lord has used them to build my character and to help "conform me" to the image of His Son.

If you do decide to go, I will miss you, and it will be our loss. You are a wonderful young lady, and I know the Lord has big things in store for you.

Your Big Sister in Christ!

Tess -

If you come back to read this, please understand . . . whenever groups of people come together, differences and difficulties are bound to happen. It's getting through them that enable us to grow.

Please reconsider!

-It appears my presence here has really irritated some people. I'd rather leave than continue to get my feelings hurt over things...I doubt that's the intention of this board or what it's creators had in mind.

Tess,

Hope you reconsider your decision for as many above have said. I feel you have a purpose here as well and am deeply sorry that you had to endure some bad things here during your stay. It is most unfortunate that others would treat you so unkindly. You have truly been a blessing to me in your time here for you truly do stand up for what you believe in no matter what others seem to think and I admire that.

Once again I am sorry to hear that you feel you must go, truly do hope you change your mind.

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

It's sad to see someone feeling this way.

Boards such as this are a place for people to express their opinions.

And this is also the internet, a worldwide forum with so many different people's and cultures.

I guarantee the people you feel you have offended will not be seeing matters the same way as yourself, indeed they may also be wondering why you are arriving at such a conclusion !

These type of forums are not always for the fainthearted.

It is here that people express opinions on matters which they hold very dear.

Passions always run high.

What you see in posts which sometimes might sound like offence, are just a display of someone else's extreme passion concerning their beliefs.

We have displays of passionate beliefs from many different viewpoints. It shows the depths of people's love and concern for their beliefs, not necessarily their disapproval of you.

I have no doubt that YOU are very passionate about your beliefs.

If you feel that someone has taken offence at anything you might have said, it is merely their emtional display concerning their passionate beliefs.

You will show similar emotions in your posts as well I have no doubt.

Often times when we put up a post, we read some replies in we instantly think there and then 'WHY HOW DARE THEY SAY THAT' !

It's our typical kneejerk response, and it applies to each and everyone of us.

We INSTANTLY feel wounded at heart if someone doesn't agree with out portrayal.

we could ALL get easily offended, but most people who use forums such as this recognise that other people's response's are just their defense of their heart felt passionately embraced beliefs.

That shows that they have love in them somewhere. And if they have that in their somewhere, I'm sure they don;t feel about you the way you might think.

When the heat of the moment has died down we can all sit back and see that people really love their Lord, and their varying perceptions of him.

Just as you do also.

You're knew to this board Tess. I'm EVEN KNEWER !!

But I KNOW EXACTLY what you mean. I have become mebroiled in some 'debates' on the board as well, but I recognise that it's just people expressing the same passion about their beliefs, that I am expressing about mine. I'm not meaning to offend them any more than I'm sure they are not meaning to offend me.

This is after all religion we are talking about here! Men have been fighting and dying over it since time im-memorial. You;re surely not niaeve to think that it would be any different now, or even on the internet.

C'mon, you're bigger than that surely. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, and get back into the battle !

May the Lord grant you strength, and wrap His everlasting arms of love around you.

Shalom

Tess,

You remind me so much of a girl I went to school with. She was your age when I knew her. Tess - short for Tessa. Wonderful person to know. And I have yet to really get to know you, but you are a good at challenging me even in the way I view things!! (the tithing thread!) I am glad to know another 'Tess' :P

Trust me when I say that even Senior members have doubts many a time as to why they are here, if they are welcome, and maybe they should be moving on. Sometimes, things that happen here are just a small patch of unpaved road on a freeway. They are being worked on.

Please stay - even if you just want to observe for a bit. Some of the best fellowship in the world (literally, people here from all over) is found right here on these boards.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((TESS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) that is a Worthy hug

I hope you stay!

I've been praying about it, and I think it might be God's will that I try to stick it out. It's very hard...I don't want to be hurt again, but I also know that's part of the risk of relationships. I've been shown and amazing amount of love, grace and support over the last few days here..and it really does mean so much to me. Thank you all so much, I just struggle sometimes with accepting it.

I explain it more in depth here....

Thank you all so much.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
