Is this what Andrew teaches?

Just curious....because I don't know.

They are signs and wonders. When someone places such emphasis on signs and wonders, they fall for anything that is unexplained, such as these events. I have not read whether Andrew believes in these or not.

Then why would you even bring that into the conversation? Do you believe that those who believe in signs and wonders lack the ability to discern good from evil?

I do not believe for one second that what has happened in Toronto, Brownsville, with Bentley or what has been happening lately in small church (sorry, forgot the name) where gems fall to the ground, diamonds appear in pockets, gold dust is everywhere, and the such, are the works of God, but a deception.

So instead of addressing the issue, you attack the person? He in turn puts up a wall of defense, which makes it harder to communicate with him. His willingness to listen, if it was there to begin with, just became more difficult because of a petty comment. In cases like this, "iron does not sharpen iron". It only inflicts wounds.

I apologize if my passion sounds like grumbling. I feel that the Christians in the US are not using the the GOD given gifts provided by Jesus at the cross. I see documentaries and Christian shows of the power of God ( deaf ears opened, blind eyes opened, raising of the dead) in places like China, Africa. and other countries.

I fear for you my friend.... for clearly your passion lies with the power that is of God rather than His Person. You see a heart that is in Love with Him knows that He, and Him alone, is unique unlike all others and the burning of desire to be with Him as near is the passion! It is a pure witness to speak such- what He does is just results of Who He is and Who He is the Person I am Loving with all my heart and all my mind and all my strength The Person not His abilities as to power.... Step back from all the performance and examine the reason for them and you will find something much more important than His Power you will find His Love... it is the unbounded place wherein the eternities are formed with His presence.

Really?......than I'm a fool for believing because I do believe. I have personally witnessed 2 of these "garbage" events. One took place about 30 years ago while I was in the military. A friend of mine was crushed to death when a 13 ton vehicle rolled over on top of him. Flesh and bone under 26 thousand pounds of cold hard steel. He was barely recognizable when they hauled him out of there in a body bag. He was the son of a Baptist minister and he related to me what took place between the time he died and when he came to in the morgue. I believe what happened to him was a sign....a witness from God.

The other event involved an individual with lung cancer. Without going into detail, I can tell you that the cancer is gone. This individual received no treatments for the cancer. She was coughing up blood. Tumors where found in her lungs. A week after she received the news of her cancer, she went back to the hospital for more tests......the tumors were gone. Another sign...another witness.

You can scoff at these if you wish....I don't care. As for me, I believe in these things. The Lord said things such as these would happen and I believe that. If you choose not to believe, that's between you and God.

Again, you're bringing in something that has nothing to do with what's being discussed. Your examples are so over the top that anyone with little to no knowledge of God would look at them with skepticism.

What I'm getting from your words is that you don't believe in miracles. And that's what signs and wonders are....miracles. Signs and wonders don't always come with marching bands and fireworks. Many times those miracles go unnoticed or are witnessed by a select few. If you don't believe, you don't believe....that's fine with me, but don't talk down to those of us who do. When you do, you make yourself no better than the false teachers you preach against.

I've been on this forum a number of years and with the exception of one person, I don't know anyone here. All one can do is go by what they type. If I wanted to get a feel of what someones beliefs were, all I would have to do is look at their post history. Simply click "users content" and you're there. One doesn't have to be here a certain amount of time to know someone. Such is life on the internet.

I see talking about healing and faith steps on everyone's religious toes. I truly know that it works Praise God! I honestly thought that the scriptures would be enough to prove it..

Testimony:

My brother in law Mario was supernaturally healed in Corpus Christi. He needed a shoulder operation and had no health care so he lived in pain for six months. During that time I was studying on supernatural healing. I was full of unbelief (carnally minded). I kept praying to God for revelation. About three months later I was talking to another brother in law and he told me how Mario got healed. I called Mario and it was true. I thank God for that man who healed him and I believe that was a revelation from God. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
