I don't know why Fred Nile is doing this :taped:. They are already trying to remove christian liberties, what he is doing here (if it passes) is opening the door and setting new standards for the manner in which they are allowed to remove even more of our liberties.

I haven't weighed into this debate at worthy, but I'm hoping this ban falls flat on it's face.

Just wait until one of those hidden faces turns out to be a bomber who is captured on CCTV planting the bomb but because people thought it was a bad thing to have a law which bans the concealing of one's face, you will not be able to identify who it is. But hey, as long as we don't step on anyone's rights while giving up our own. We all know how Islam is a religion of peace and that the vast majority of them are peaceful moderates.

I have heard endless reasons why Muslim women wear the burqa etc from copying the Muslim prophets wives to modesty...so with regard to modesty, one Muslim woman said she started wearing the burqa at 27 because she wanted to and chose to be modest - excuse me? Does that mean for the previous 20 odd years she had been 'immodest' ?? And if wearing a burqa signifies a womans modesty, then what does that say for the rest of us women who "choose" not to cover ourselves..? Are we trash?

If the burqa is banned, there will be somewhat of a loss of "religious" freedom that will surely impact upon Christianity as well as other faiths. There are so many downsides to the burqa in general and security issues is a major one in this climate of global terrorism fear. It will be very interesting to see what will be the outcome to all of this as there is a massive worldwide anti Muslim swing at the moment.

In all this thought I noticed that freedom equals choice and that restriction of freedom is restriction of choice. In the beginning God saw that it was good and choice was there... because of the nature of evil it only wants obedience to its whims, demands actually, for all do sin! When choice was directed to disobedience by the man (Adam) they both became aware of the first restriction of clothing for they kew that they were naked and covering was necessary but it all pointed to the covering of the Blood of God's precious Son... Everyday when I wake I can either think of greeting my Heavenly Father and Son By the Spirit within me or other... because I am His does not always mean my thoughts will be of Him first, but more and more they are and this comes not by demand but by reason and choice from within- this choice based on reason is that there is nothing else to go to that is living, there is no other truth, no other way... I will not live my day in creating a god from the resources around me- I will live my day in learning of Who He is and where He is bringing me to. He has loved me so much that He has told me all things... One of the major truths of God is that He is perfect light and in Him is no darkness, nothing hidden, and He says in the eternities it will all be so! Our lives now (the born again) is preparation for this existence in a place that is anti- to this concept. So in this case where hidden is freedom, it is actually a lie to hide identity. Identity is required for testimony as to good works... this is an obedience to God unto others by self sacrifice "a witness". It is quite clear how death and hell must be swallowed up for one cannot be a part of the other and God will have no restrictions in the eternities for unbounded freedom is the eternities in Him... Muhammed's wife was catholic do you really think that she wore a burqa or do you suppose she dressed with jewels and had the liberty that the burqa wearing women only wish they had.

Wow where does this info come from? It's the first I have ever heard of it. Wasn't his wife 9?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
