Arunangelo? The first post is really ambiguous. But when I read that third statement, the impression that was left on me was that Arunangelo means all people, both Christians and unbelievers, are our brothers and sisters. "Even sinners" he said.... In his fourth statement, he made clear that, in this context, sinners for him mean those who have not yet believed. Mat 6:14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, Mat 6:15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Does that hurt the person who did the wrong..... not really. The only person who is really negatively affected by holding a grudge is the unforgiving person. I've personally witnessed people being eaten up inside from such unforgiveness. It taints the heart of the person. Basically one should forgive for their own selves..... so I stress #5. The others are instructions for #5 can become a reality. I do believe that God forgave us for his own peace of mind...... and that's what loving entities do. It's just what is. (John 1:12, ESV) We sinners are brothers and sisters. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8 But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
