Glick - The Jerusalem Post, December 3rd, 2010 Make no mistake about it, the ongoing WikiLeaks operation against the US is an act of war. It is not merely a criminal offense to publish hundreds of thousands of classified US government documents with malice aforethought. It is an act of sabotage. Like acts of kinetic warfare on military battlefields, WikiLeaks

Founded in 2006, Wikileaks was supposed to serve the cause of freedom. It claimed that it would defend dissidents in China, the former Soviet Union and other places where human rights remains an empty term. But then China made life difficult for WikiLeaks and so four years later, Assange and his colleagues declared war on the US, rightly assuming that unlike China, the US would take their attacks lying down. Why take risks to defend dissidents in a police state when it

When the only thing you can arrest this guy on is for not using a condom when having sex, I gotta ask if we really want to go here. If they trump up such things on this guy, what will they do to us next year.... This is a bad situation no matter how it comes out, but we've put ourselves in a bad spot...... but we can destroy our future if we're not careful of how we get out of it. You can't declare war on a bunch of random people scattered across the world who have no common affiliation. Herding cats would be easier.

Ted, I just think there is way way more to this story than is on the surface...... another situation where our government looks totally stupid, and I just don't think we are that bad off. In my job I worked around a lot of secure and some rather secret documents. I was vetted to work on the printers that made their hard documens. I'm aware of the levels of security and this really doesn't sound strait talk to me. Threre is so much politics going on right now that I don't trust any of them...... If this guy has broken any laws that we could file charges against..... why have we not. Cass Sustine was involved in the companies that financed the start of Wikileaks which puts the progressives of our country and friends of our administration at it's core...... There is much much more to this than meets the eye. I'b bet coffee for a week that it will end up in them trying to severly restrict internet freedom before it's over. Some of those governments are not like those in the west. I hope I'm wrong; he needs to be in jail though.
