Jade,

In total agreement. That is what the Word above say's;

Ro 1:17

For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Just like Abraham. :rofl: He had a promise and counted it sure. A covenant.

Now I know the Muslims call Abraham their father. Yet as Christ told the Pharisaical order of the day. Those who were Religious and not Faithful.

What happened to believing in Scripture? Did I miss a part of the scripture where Jesus said, Anybody can come to the father however they see fit?
:oww:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Didn't John quote Jesus as saying that those that had not heard of Him have no sin?

Dr Luke has this question covered, so I will attempt to answer ther other question from my understanding of scripture.

I'm not defending the muslims, because they have heard of Christ and rejected him, but what of the souls on earth who have never heard of Christ?

John 6

44  "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will  raise him up on the last day.

45  "It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

There is a great verse of promise in the gospels and I not quite sure where it is, but anyway it says;

"That those who truely worship the Father, will be led to the Son"

If one truely seeks God, there is a promise that they will be led to Jesus, no matter where they are. We see and example of this in Acts 8

An Ethiopian Receives Christ

25  So, when they had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the  Samaritans.

26  But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, "Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to  Gaza." (This is a desert road.)

27  So he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he  had come to Jerusalem to worship,

28  and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.

29  Then  the Spirit said to Philip, "Go up and join this chariot."

30  Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?"

31  And he said, "Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?" And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

32  Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:

          "HE WAS LED AS A SHEEP TO SLAUGHTER;

          AND AS A LAMB BEFORE ITS SHEARER IS SILENT,

          SO HE DOES NOT OPEN HIS MOUTH.

33

      "IN HUMILIATION HIS JUDGMENT WAS TAKEN AWAY;

          WHO WILL RELATE HIS GENERATION?

          FOR HIS LIFE IS REMOVED FROM THE EARTH."

34  The eunuch answered Philip and said, "Please tell me, of whom does the prophet say this? Of himself or of someone else?"

35  Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him.

36  As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, "Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?"

37  [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]

38  And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him.

39  When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.

40  But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he kept preaching the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

Another Amazing thing that happened here is that they wre in the dessert and behold water!!!!! God is awesome.

My point is that those who truley seek God will find Jesus

No, I don't believe that Muslims - or non-Christians in general - automatically go to hell. The Catholicism post in Apologetics is heavy with this discussion, it's already been rehashed over and over, trust me.

You obviously don't believe in the authority of the word of God.

"...I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

John 3:3

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." John 3 :36

Senerhu,

My dear brother. :il:

That is why I attached the parts from Romans.

I believe JIG2 covered that.

How was it do you suppose that Abraham came to believe by Faith on Christ?

Peace,

Dave

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
