I find a lot of references to Egypt, but it's very difficult to put each scripture in the overall historic time frame. I'm not really up on that much Egyptian history. It seems to me like Mark went to Egypt and at one time there were a lot of coptic christians there, but I don't recall it ever being such as this.... Some say that because Egypt has already diverted the Nile and other waterways that they are starting to dry up in places. Personally I believe that most prophecies are dual in nature that even if there was a fulfillment or partial one that it will be seen again after all history repeats itself over and over again, kinda like God wondering if we will get it right this time around. Heres something to think about since God says that all things are declared from the beginning I would think we might see something in Ex. that could resemble what we might be seeing today so I read through chpt. 5-14 or so and in them we see the rising up of the Hebrews, heavily taxed and oppressed but then Moses comes and the plagues, just made me wonder about what could be on the horizon.
