Why would they do that? Wouldn't they want to show the body to prove it's actually him? That bothers me too. Doesn't this just leave the way wide open for those who supported Bin Laden to claim the death photos and DNA evidence, etc., are fake?

I agree. I would be rejoicing equally as much if he had merely been captured and not killed. This is a major victory and people ALL OVER THE WORLD can feel safer. While I agree that Osama cannot hurt anyone any longer, I don't think we should feel safer. Someone will take his place. The war on terror does not end here and Al Qaeda are not silly enough to have all their eggs in the one basket. We are already aware of who the new leader will be. Don't feel safer, we have just poked at a hornets nest. I expect widespread reprisals. Time will tell.

But somehow it seems our society has lost the value to the victims and their families of having justice fulfilled. Yet it would be foolish to think Al Quaida will suffer from this blow. Guest
This may sound wrong, but PRAISE THE LORD!! American justice is mostly slow, but it is usually, eventually, sure.

When he stands before he Lord, THAT is justice. In my opinion anyway .

Come on - how about thanking the commanders who planned the operation? He should have put more emphasis on the real workers, not the "go ahead and do it" person. Can you just see it now if it isn't? Osama comes on TV in a week holding today's newspaper...and Obama's birth certificate. What do you mean 'if it's true'? Navy Seals are not going to fake something like this or be part of some conspiracy.....do you really want to start down that road? There's nothing humorous here at all..............
