Anyone know of a church that read the quran today?

Now that "bring your quran to church" day is over ....

Anyone hear it? Anyone know of a church that did it?

Well, we're on a travel, but if I'd been home i would have read from the quran in our Sunday School class at least.

Surrah 112

Say: He is Allah, the

One and Only! Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten.

And there is none like unto Him.

and then I would have read from the word of God.

John 10:7-12

7 Jesus therefore said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 "All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly. 11 "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12 "He who is a hireling, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees, and the wolf snatches them, and scatters them.

Then we could/would have discussed compatability between them and us so to speak.

That is hardly the same thing as the chrislam thing is. Those pastors are trying to show support for islam by bringing in the quran into the worship service in an attempt to show support for islam.

And do you believe we're compatible?

Only if we submit to Allah and become second class citizens of wherever we might live...... and pay a tax.... and not spread the gospel, and not have anything that one of them might want..... never touch one of them or say anything that could be considered talking down on any of them or their religion and never ever look at one of their women....

In a nutshell....... no. Nothing is compatible with them; not Christians, or pagans, or just plain old non believers in any diety.... no group of people or religion or government is compatible with them.

I had not even heard of this.

In a nutshell....... no. Nothing is compatible with them; not Christians, or pagans, or just plain old non believers in any diety.... no group of people or religion or government is compatible with them.

Then why entertain their master by reciting his verses?

There's absolutely nothing to be learned from that book.
