Wars, Revolutions, Rumors of Wars and

I began to contemplate the enormous devastation around me. I see not only Florida but many other lands affected by raging storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and earthquakes.

Wars and pestilence is everywhere.

The growing evil of men is becoming so profound, I hardly know what to think. This isn't the same world I was born in.

Something's changed. Something...has changed.

Anyone else feel this strange sense that something just isn't right?

Well Cats, I've had that feeling before. You're right though, something's wrong, very wrong, in the world. Is it the End Times? Don't know for sure, but it's possible.

Wars and rumours of wars, BUT THE END IS NOT YET. So many leave those last few words off. We have had wars and rumours of wars from OT times. This is NOT a SIGN of the end times. HOWEVER, "pestilences" are and there will be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the earth and above the earth.

It is the converging of so many things going wrong at the same time, mostly the morality of the nations. I think that if we don't pass the "marriage law", homosexuality will run rampant, being approved by liberal judges state by state. When that happens I believe God's wrath is imminent.

The "apostacy" in the churches and among individuals is so rampant right now, that I see THIS as another sign, all we have to do there is wait for the "man of sin" (the False Prophet) to be revealed, THEN we will know the last days are upon us.

Even now the Lord is calling His saints out of the organized churches and they have taken up home and street ministries and I foresee a great day coming for the saints of God. The Elijah spirit shall be poured out and the Jews will come home and we shall be filled with POWER to testify to the greatness of our God and His Christ.

But now is the time of preparation. To KNOW the Word and be ready in season and out of season to give an answer for the hope that is within us, with meekness and respect. We will be called upon to be like Jesus in the Desert and when a temptation comes our way, we must know the WORD in order to resist it. For it is not by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God. This is how we are going to overcome sin and the enemy.

Don't be lulled into a false sense of security by leaders who won't heed what Jesus whole council on the ends times is, along with the rest of The Bible taken together. Many of the things that Jesus talked about are happening, and His statement that but the end is not yet probably meant at the end of the things He had already said, and then He added more things that would take place, with no indication of a time period. It is obvious that the events in Mark 24 are taking place but that does not mean that any of us can put any kind of a time designation on when they will all happen or for how long they will occur. All we can know is that we are geting close to the time when He will return, and we should be more concerned about our personal relationships with Him, and the purpose of them which is to manifest His glory to this lost, and dying world. The end will come when God says it will come, and The Father is the only one who knows the time. The best preperation is to pray that you will die before, but be prepared for being here through it all.

I know the feeling. I thought often of you guys as we watched the devastatin of your part fo the world, but it's the same everywhere. We have had the worst floods in various parts of our country since they first started taking records. And DadE is right about the apostacy. It started years ago, but it is gathering momentum, not by the centuray or the decade, but almost by the day the world is sliding down the track of evil and corruption, even as we type these posts. The elections in your country, I think will have a large bearing on the path the world takes regarding homosexuality and general immorality is concerned. The whole world is buttering up to promoting this lifestyle. Prostitution has only recently been decriminalised in our country. Every media outlet is flaunting it, but I believe personally, God will let it go only so far, before we have a massive global Sodom and Gommorah.

Yeah - and I have thoughts about it - but I'm not at a place to say, "This is so" - for others have doen so before and been found wrong, so who knows?

Example, I've always wondered about the ID of the first horseman of the Apocalyse. Conventional interp. (calling the rider on the white horse "the Anti-Christ") just never seemed right to me - I mean, that ID doesn't fit with the ID's of the other three.

A rider with a bow on a white horse riding as a conquorer bent on conquest . . . holy war?

Chances are I could be way wrong . . . so I'm keeping it as thoughts until shown otherwise.

We could be in "the beginning of birth pains" even still. It's hard to say.

Or maybe the US needs to be taken out of the picture before what is prophecied can come to pass, and this is what we are seeing.

But, what do I know. I'm a teacher, not a prophet!

My aunty posed a question at our last home group meeting about how God wants us to be specific and pray for specific things.

HER QUESTION

Is God waiting for us to pray for His coming?

As I sit here crying uncontrolably in a state of not knowing how to cope with life............ This world around me so violent, unforgiving, kaotic and all SOOOOOO very wrong.................. I find every day for the past couple of months I have so longed for this world to end.

This IS NOT the world I was born into either ......................... And I know what I am feeling is not just a state of deppression but tiredness from trying so hard to do what is right only to be told by the systems of this world I am wrong.

How I long to see Jesus face and to see Him end this kaos that is destroying lives.

Im generaly not a person who treads on end time thoughts. However, I will admit that I sence something sinister in the world that I didn't feel 5 years ago. Its seems like things are moving so fast in all areas. Who knows?

When I watch my children and see them calling each other names and tearing each other down, when I see them hurt one another just for the sake of getting a rise or when I see them unfairly treated at school, or even them doing the wrong and being deciptful, or when I find myself reacting in an unchristian manner toward them....................... IT HURTS........................ IT TEARS ME APART.

As a mum who loves her children so much and is so torn apart by what I see happening to my lil ones I can't help but think how God must feel and how I could never comprehend the pain nor stand it.

Something must give sometime soon because I am sure our Dad has almost had enough of our bickering and the destruction, torment and hurt we do to each other.

I gave birth to our youngest 5 years ago on October 6th and I believe in that time our world has changed so rapidly. Even if I could physically have a baby I would never want to bring another living soul into this world and when I do see new borns now I feel for what they are coming into.

Things most definetly have changed in the last 5 years.
