Something's changed. Something...has changed.

Anyone else feel this strange sense that something just isn't right?

Yes, very much so....

I remember "Father Knows Best", "Leave it to Beaver" and "Ozzie and Harriet".

I remember "My Three Sons" and "The Brady Bunch"...

I remember a time when families took baskets full of sandwiches and Koolaid and threw out a red-checkered tablecloth and had picnics in the park, throwing frisbies at their dogs.

I remember neighborhood hotdog cookouts and neighbors banding together to do fun things during the 4th of July.

I remember when the smell of a rose and the soft skin of a baby were a delight.

********************************************************************

Now, I see females and males dressed in GOTH (black lipstick, liner, clothing and shoes, writing "666" in pen all over their notebooks) ...I know, I was a teacher.

I see hatred, lies and hostilities towards teachers that is absolutely unbelievable.

I see outright defiance and indignation.

I see ZERO CONSCIENCE in people's souls.

I see a look of DEATH in some people's eyes.

I tend to almost recognize a Satanist when I see them, regardless of their attire. I sense their spirit.

I feel evil circulating around me when I leave the house.

I sense an emptiness and utter lack of joy in church services.

I see a false sense of worship in church; the minute people are in the parking lot, they're flipping each other off and cutting them off in the lot.

I'm seeing righteous indignation and pride among those who call themselves the elite of heaven.

I'm seeing the self-righteous become MORE self-righteous and the licentious become even more wicked.

I see people willing to continually compromise the truth of God's Word or ditch it altogether.

I see some people who take God's word and turn it into a burden too heavy for anyone to carry....

I see a lack of caring, concern and compassion for the lost. It's easier just to judge and condemn those "heathens".

I see a lack of tears flowing down cheeks for the lost.

I see a world that doesn't seem to care about a whole world of suffering people....including babies in Sudan who are starving when the Muslim Extremists cut off their mother's breasts so they can't feed them.

I see evil everywhere....

God, are you listening? This is becoming more than I can handle, Lord.

Our auntys point from my post above...................... Is God bringing us as christians to our knees to cry out to Him to end all the death and destruction because He can no longer watch this either?

Again another day Cats where I feel the burden like you of this world and I just don't know how to carry the burden of the troubled spirit of my own children let alone looking at the rest of the world.

It really is coming to the point of to much to carry for so many I know....................

Rose: What's strange is I live in a wonderful, quiet safe neighborhood with lots of police and doctors and other professionals.

People all seem to like each other and get along. Lawns are manicured and perfect.

I have plenty of food, clothing and a husband who's dear as life to me.

I have ample income and all my needs are met.

I have awesome and affordable medical care through the VA and am better off than most in that regard.

I only have to deal with a body which began deteriorating about 2 years ago...very rapidly. It's scary. I can't lie. I don't know what's wrong. They've run zillions of tests and don't know what's wrong. I just feel like my body is dying - I'm too weak to function or do anything. I'm that weak.

If they did an autopsy, I'm sure they'd find out what's wrong...but right now, that's not an option.

I say all this to say, if I have been so graciously blessed by our Savior to protect and preserve me, how in the world would I survive starvation and body mutilations and disease and famine and cold and suffering and brutality and hate in places like Sudan and so many other countries brutalized by Islam?

Man, if we're this distressed now, how does the rest of the world feel?

The main point of me believing it will be far away is that not all of the world has been reached. About 3,000 languages haven't had a bible printed in their language or their language figured out yet. It's going to take at least 50 years at the current rate to complete this. On top of that, every Christian generation since the times of Paul believed they were "the" generation.

The Bible is obscure on the end times, and almost every time period in history could fit into it. It's impossible to know.

I hear what you are saying SJ, but is it necessary to have bibles printed in every language in order for people to come to know scripture. Jesus said. " and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony for all the nations and then the end will come. I have to agree there are many peoples who haven't heard the gospel, but the number of people who are hearing the gospel, according some of the people who are at the coal face, is increasing every day. I'm like Cats, there are days when I wish the Lord would take me home away from all what Cats is talking about, and yet at 81, there are times when I pray that I will still be here to hear that last trumpet. Quien Sabe.

Eric, my hubby's 83. I think he feels he'll live to be 100. Me....I'm just tired and ready to check out right about now.

If gay marriage becomes law, I'll definitely check out. I'll just run. I don't know where...just run.

I can't handle living in Sodom. I know how that story ends.

I should have clarified what I meant. 3,000 languages have no bible and we're just now beginning to interpret their language so that we can at least share the Gospel. That means about 3,000 different people groups have not been reached yet, which, praise God it's only 3,000! However, it will take time for this to occure.

As bad as the sin is today, it's still relatively mild compared to the past....we do have a ways to go unfortunately.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
