Jesus' physical body was 100% human. The human bodies can die, and so could his. When He died, his physical body died, but His soul and spirit remained alive, they are eternal; they never die. So, when Jesus' physical body died, He went back into his God form. As you say God is spirit, that helps prove Jesus is God, because spirits do not die, so therefore Jesus didn't die, but his body did, because the body isn't who you are.

Philippians 2:6-7 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men." The bible says God became flesh so he could die. If He wasn't 100% Human he couldn't die, and if He couldn't die our sins are not forgiven, because as it says in Hebrews 9:22

The thing you cannot explain has a simple explanation.

Jesus is NOT God.

Christ was the son of God and a mortal man. He died and was the firstfruits of the Ressurection to immortality, now sitting at the right hand of God.

Jesus is not God.

Peace

I agree he is not the Father, but there is scripture that leads one to believe he was what the people in the days of moses saw as the God of Israel that He, Aaron some other dude I can't remember his name and 70 of the elders of Israel saw.

Which makes Him in the form of God/aGod and that he did not think it was important to keep this status and came as a man to earth.

While He is not the Father, I do believe he was "I Am" and that is why the old testament words for God were plural. He was the interface for humankind to the Father, just like he was on earth.

Jesus is one with the Father, and We are one with Him through the Spirit which gives us access to the Father through Him, and soon He will be back and the rest is forward history in the making......

Yep, Jesus is not the Father, but he is the son there is no denying that.

I do have to politly disagree with you though about Christ being the I AM in the old testiment, I don't quite understand what you mean there, perhaps could you provide some scripture for this?

No doubt Christ was in the image of God, was just saying that Jesus is lieteraly not the father, but is the son of God and is a mortal man who died. he wasn't God but manifested God pefectly and his relationship with the father was like non other due to his conception of the spirit and Marry.

peace

JESUS is GOD!!!!!!!!!

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Is 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Yes, yes I know all the famous verses to try and prove it.

All I am saying is that Jesus Christ is NOT literaly God the Father.

"no man hath seen God at any time" well thousands saw Jesus

"God cannot be tempted with evil" Well Chris was tempted in the wilderness

"God cannot die" well Christ did

Do you honostly belive that Jesus the son of God was/is God the father?

peace,

we can turn this into a trinity debate if you want to, but put it in the doctrine section and make a new thread. I'll take your scritpures and questions there.

A trinity debate will get people no where. I believe the truth is in John 1

John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

You cannot bold the Word was God without bolding Word was with God. Both statements are true. And there lies the dilemma. Our minds just do not have the capacity to bring the two statements into understanding harmony, its a mystery.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
