When God sent the angels; "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." (Jude 1:6), the fathers of the giants to Hell, the devil no doubt held out hope of their deliverence some day. When Satan and his plans failed and Christ, the seed of the woman, came and defeated the evil spirits on the cross and went to Hell to make this announcement to the imprisoned spirits they knew there was no hope of liberation for them.

I don't remember the gentleman who brought this topic up but I'm quite sure when he sees what I've found after it's explained he'll come foward to debate again. This gentle brought this topic up apporx 5 months ago , or so and challanged us all to find anywhere in the Bible that stated anything referencing the "Eternal Fires" and the fact that anyone doomed with satan and the demons in Hell would suffer the "Eternal Fires of Hell." This gentleman claimed that the only fires that the Bible ever spoke on was the "Lake of Fires that sinners would pass though and then end up in HELL with no eternal Flames. Well SURPRISE! Matthew 26: 41 Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, " Away with you, you cursed ones, into the ETERNAL FIRE prepared for the Devil and his demons! For I was hungry, and yu didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me anthing to drink. I was a stanger, and you didn't invite me into your home . I was naked, and you game me no clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me. then skip down to.....26:45 And he will answer, I assure you when, you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me. 46. And they will all go away into ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, but the righteous will go into eternal life."

Well, I don't know about you all , but that's enough "Eternal" information for me to witness about the "Eternal fires" in Hell for those who do not obey God!

**********************************************************

There are five departments in the underworld of departed Spirits mentioned in the Bible. Not one of these places is associated with or is the grave where bodies are buried.

One). Paradise; In Luke 16:19-31; 23:43, we have pictured total comfort and water in this prison because the rich man saw Lazarus afar off in comfort and bliss and asked him to dip his finger in water and cool his tongue (Luke 16:19-31). This was the abode of the righteous souls from Adam after dying and leaving their bodies, being held captive by the devil against their wills till Christ's death and resurrection (Heb. 2:14-15; Eph. 4:7-11). Before Jesus Christ conqured the power of death and Hell, the devil had these powers. (Col. 2:14-17; Heb. 2:14-15; Rev. 1:18).

It was into this prison the repentant thief went with Christ the day they both died (Luke 23:43). This prison is located in the heart of the Earth as is clear from Matt. 12:40 and Eph. 4:7-11. Jesus not only went into this prison but He also went into another prison, "Tartarus," and preached to the fallen angels being held there in their own special prison. Jesus having conqured Hell and death and the grave during His crucifiction and during the three days He was in the underworld, He captured all the righteous souls that were in Paradise and took them to Heaven when He ascended on high (Eph. 4:7-11). Jesus now has the keys to Hell and death (Rev. 1:18).

Two). Tartarus; This prison is the special prison for the fallen angels that sinned both before and after the flood. There is nothing recorded in Scripture that teaches demons or human beings ever go into this prison. In these passages it is clear that there is a real Hell that is not the grave and that Spirit beings are confined in chains until judgment (1 Pet. 3:19; 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6-7).

Three). Hell itself; (Matt. 16:18; Luke 16:19-31). This is the torment part in the unseen world and was, still is, and will yet be the abode of all the wicked souls and spirits of men from Able to the end of the Millennium. Then, at this time all the wicked will be liberated out of this prison and will be given their own immortal bodies and be judged before being cast into the "lake of fire" forever (Rev. 20:11-15; 21:8).

Four). The Bottomless Pit or Abyss is the abode or prison of demons and certain angelic beings. No human being is ever thrown into the abyss. It is a very deep chasm in the lower parts of the Earth. It is translated "deep" (Luke 8:26-31; Romans 10:7) and "Bottomless Pit" in Rev. 9:1-3, 11; 11:7; 17:8; 20:1-10). All these Scriptures prove that there are prisons in the lower parts of the Earth for departed sinning spirits, and they are not and could never be the same as a grave on the surface of the Earth.

And Five). The Lake of Fire, is the eternal Hell and perdition of wicked men, demons, fallen angels, and all rebellious creatures of all ages who have ever rebelled against God, and who have refused to repent when they could have. It is called "The Gehenna of Fire" and is always translated Hell (Matt. 5:22, 29, 30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15, 33; Mark 9:43-45, 47; Luke 12:5; James 3:6). This prison is also called "the second death, which is the lake of fire" (Rev. 2:11; 20:6, 14). This final Hell was prepared for the devil and all his angels (Matt. 25:41-46), and for all other rebells, and it is ETERNAL in duration (Rev. 14:9-14; 20:10-15; Isa. 66:22-24; Matt. 25:46). There is no record in Scripture of anyone being the lake of fire at present. Scripture does show that the beast and the false prophet will be the first to be cast into it. This will happen before the Millennium (Rev. 19:20). They will still be there 1,000 years later when the devil and all other rebells will be cast into it (Rev. 20:10-15).

Scripture shows that there will be degrees of punishment in Hell as far as remorse and torment of the conscience is concerned (Matt. 10:15; 11:22; 12:41; 23:14; Mark 6:11; 12:40; Luke 10:14; 11:31, 32; 20:47). These degrees of punishment will be because of the kind of sins comitted by one that were not comitted by another. No man will be punished or could have remorse over something he did not do. They will all regret rebelling against God and man and failing to believe in Jesus, and repenting of sin.

Who are the fathers of the giants?

I tought you knew this?

In 2 Peter 2:4, we have the statement that angels did sin before the flood and for their sin they were cast down to Hell and delivered into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

" For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;" (2 Peter 2:4).Peter does not tell us what sin the angels committed, but you can read what they did in Jude 6-7.

"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." (Jude6-7).

In Gen 6:1-4 we have the historical record of the sin of these angels. If Sodom and other cities committed fornication and lived contrary to nature as did the angels, then the angels also committed fornication and lived contrary to nature, or these cities could not have sommitted the sin of these angels. Thus we have plain proof that angels did live with the daughters of men and to deny this is to deny part of the word of God.

There were two eruptions of the fallen angels among men. They produced races of giants on the Earth each time. The first was before the flood, and the second was after the flood. This is plainly stated in Gen 6:4, "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." [before the flood], and also after that, [after the flood]. These giants were huge, abnormal in size and character, which men could not have reproduced according to the law of reproduction given by God, which was that everything on Earth in nature should reproduce "after his own kind" (Gen.1:21-25; 7:14; 8:9).

Once again, it is not wise to make Doctrine up from one line of Scriptural reference.

We have the Lord Himself indicating that the Angels are A-Sexual in being.

The Word of God is built up line upon line precept upon precept.

The Sadducees were pretty certain they understood as well.

Let's go line upon line though so as to clear some of this up;

In 2 Peter 2:4, we have the statement that angels did sin before the flood and for their sin they were cast down to Hell and delivered into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

It's quite clear that the sin that the Angels committed was the sin of rebellion.

Peter is speaking of Heresy's that denied The very Word of God, (The Truth), and spoke ill of Apostolic Authority in carrying forth that Truth.

2Pe 2:1

¶ But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2Pe 2:2

And many shall follow their shameful ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

In Gen 6:1-4 we have the historical record of the sin of these angels

Where?

Ge 6:1

¶ And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Ge 6:2

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Ge 6:3

¶ And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

Ge 6:4

¶ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

If you look very carefully at Genesis you will see the story of the Blessed and the Cursed. The Blessed acknowledge God and call on Him. They are called the sons of God. Humans are also called this not just Angels. God is delineiating between the Righteous and Just by Faith and the Unrighteous. No where does this indicate that Angels had sexual relations with humans. Unless you are creating Doctrinal positions based upon one line of Scripture and declaring that you know. It's dabgerous when you declare that you know. Which is why we have the wholde Word, Historical Interpretation, and Apostolic Authority for re-proof. When you twist Peters letter to inidcate something that it is not then you have to go further and twist other scripture into implausible Doctrine without further re-proof. We have the Lord's own sure Word to indicate that Angels are A-Sexual.

Mt 22:30

For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Let's look one line further in Genesis to get Re-proof;

Ge 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

It wasn't the wickedness of the fallen Angels. It was the wickedness of Man that brought forth Judgment on the earth.

The Lord was grieved over the very fact that he had made mankind;

Ge 6:6

¶ And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.

Ge 6:7

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for I am sorry that I have made them.

He was seeking to destroy man not the fallen Angels who were reserved in Chains of Darkness, which by the way I'd like you to ex-plain, what does Chains of Drakness mean? Where is the Lower part of the earth that God is speaking of? Please cite scriptural reference.

which men could not have reproduced according to the law of reproduction given by God

Just because these men were frighteningly Large does not mean that they were unnatural. Modern Medicine and Historical reference produce the same results. Today we would appear Frighteningly and Freakishly Large to those same people.

These men were of Old and Renown. They were destroying and gobbling up all of the resources that the other Righteous Folks had. They were also Intermarrying with the Righteous Line threatening to snuff out the Righteous Line which would lead to Messiah if they were not stopped.

Peace,

Dave

Yes, jesus went to Hades to reveal Himself as Messiah to those who believed under the Old Covenant and were awaiting their Messiah, and to lead them out to Heaven.

He did not go to Hell, that place of suffering, whose gates are not open until Judgment Day.

Amen.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
