Where Is America?

We all know that Nebuchadnezzar had a dream of a statue and the statue represented the kingdoms that would rule the world. From the rule of Babylon to the very last one world government. We also know that the legs and feet of iron represent the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire became so large it was divided into a western branch and an eastern branch. Thus, the two legs in the statue.

The USA is derived from these branches of the Roman Empire. We are part of the legs and feet in the statue that Nebuchadnezzar saw. We all know that many of our customs, holidays, our calender, etc. are based on Roman laws and customs.

So the USA is right there in Bible prophecy. The EU will become stronger and stronger and absorb every country in the world. The USA will once again be a part of the Roman Empire; a much meaner, crueler empire than has ever exsisted before.

I agree 100% with this, but I think that the Rapture will be the catalyst that sends the weakened US into the protective arms of the EU.

It is possible that everyone here is wrong about America not being in Scripture. What if America is either part of the revived Roman Empire...or is Mystery Babylon?

As of today, all of Europe, Russia and the United Nations are looking to the U.S. to institute a full and lasting peace in the Middle East and specifically in Israel. I must remind everyone that it is the Bush administration's "Road Map" to peace which has suddenly become the "World's" Road Map to peace.

With Yasser Arafat's death, the entire world is looking to George Bush to make peace in the Middle East. Just take a look at this morning's headlines. I find that quite interesting. I think it's possible that prophecy scholars have missed it. While the anti-Christ is sure to be a gentile and arise out of a gentile nation...it is also possible that if the USA is part of the Revived Roman Empire than the anti-Christ might arise out of this nation.

I think he means we have a high rate of Christians in this country. Come on now...

We are more free right now to carry out our Christian rights right not too ... think it out. I know its sad to say but we are one of the most Christian nations in the world ... the rest of the world is swearing ligeance to Allah right now... I mean if you can find a more Christian nation surely tell me, (AND BELIEVE ME IT IS SAD TO CALL THIS A CHRISTIAN NATION) but we are compared to the rest of the world...

And by all means I would never call this a Godly righteous nation, but compared to the rest of the world ... we are a Christian nation ... not purefect, we are far from that but out of the whole world, its sad to say, but we are one of the few...

You may be right. However, consider <Romans 13:1-2>. And our rebellion against England. And how Democracy restarted with the USA. The 3rd kingdom was Greece-<Daniel 2:39> "which shall bear rule over all the earth." In my limited scholarship, Greece kind of started democracy and did not bear rule over all the earth. Did not. Then we have "his deadly wound was healed."<Revelation 13:3,12,14>. Now we have Democracy being touted as the solution to worldwide Islamic dictatorships and other forms of interim governments.

<Romans 13:2>"...and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."

slavery-Civil War-tremendous locust plagues especially toward last quarter of the 19th century-depression-dust bowl-we came up with the atomic/hydrogen bombs/Roe v Wade in 1973 with over 40 million babies murdered in the womb in the USA and over 1.3 billion worldwide since 1973 with "partial birth abortion" still going on{abortion is an indescribably evil genocide}.

Is the USA the "beast out of the earth":had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."<Revelation 13:11>?

In <1Samuel 8> the LORD was rejected by Israel:they wanted a king like other nations. The USA rejected the king of England for this Constitutional Republic {to me} one or two steps above the law of the gun and jungle and chaos. So 9 people {Supreme Court} can overrule the will of the people and give Roe v Wade: "the murderer from the beginning and liar and the father of it"<John 8:44>

Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

It is possible that the lion represents Great Britian, and the wings of the eagle represent the United States.

Nebuchadnezzar is not the lion. Daniel 4:33 describes the hair King Nebuchadnezzar grew as that of an eagle's, but this doesn't make Daniel's dream in chapter 7 about him. Remember, the dream of the four beasts came during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar's son, Belshazzar. By this time, Nebuchadnezzar had already been restored from his beast form, and had since past. Nothing about Daniel's dream in chapter 7 indicates that he was looking backwards.

In context, the four beasts represent four nations that will be upon the Earth at the time of Christ's second coming. This refutes the possibility that the beasts represent sucessive nations. After Daniel describes the four beasts, we read this:

I watched till thrones were put in place,

And the Ancient of Days was seated...The court was seated,

And the books were opened....

Then we see that the ten horned beast is cast into the flames. However, the other nations/beasts were allowed to live for a time, without dominion.

There is even more evidence that the four beasts represent nations on the Earth at the time of Christ.

Remember the beast that comes out of the sea in Revelation 13? Here is the description:

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion.

Recognize anything?

The beast i saw...

Was like a leopard (After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. Daniel 7)

his feet were like the feet of a bear (And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. Daniel 7)

like the mouth of a lion (The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. Daniel 7)

ten horns (It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. Daniel 7)

having seven heads (1 for the lion, 1 for the bear, 4 for the leopard, 1 for the ten-horned beast. Total 7)

The beast of Revelation 13 is a combination of the four beasts Daniel saw. The beast itself is not the antichrist, but the world government. Here is the interesting part, the wings that were plucked out of the lion are not a part of this beast. Why?

If the United States is represented by the wings, why aren't we a part of the combined nations of Revelation 13?

Which nation represented by Daniel's four beasts has been wounded as if to death, but been healed?
