One would wonder with all the teaching going on these days....it very well might have

So 2Tim 3:16-17 does not apply to perfection coming? An if so then how does it say what it says in verse 17? Then

backed by many Scriptures about the perfect law of Liberty found in the New Testament/Covenant? Ja 1:25-27 As the fruit it

delivers Rom 8 a perfection that cannot be denied so witnessed by The Scriptures.... Love, Steven

Steven, your reasoning that the New Testament scriptures are defining the completed cannon that they are part of as that which is perfect having come. A partial perfection is still perfection! James spoke of the perfect law of liberty and was not including the New Testament.Oh you don't even want to go there with me! By that logic the perfect had come long before as the OT cannon was established before Christ's first advent. Think about it. Pray over it. Meditate some more. May God give the increase. With love,

Gary

2Tim 3:16-17 How clear does God need to be? Only that which 'IS' perfect can make perfect Jn 1:1-18...

Taking the Third Member of The God Head with the Holy Scriptures and your willing to come into Jesus' presence

saying the perfect is not here? It's your accounting! I for one will not think as you guys do here! Love, Steven

OK Steven, your free to believe as your conscience dictates. When the perfect comes is clearly taught in scripture. We are taught to pray for it and it will be declared to be true in the future. Thy kingdom come they will be done on Earth as it is in heaven, all the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord...oh, I cannot wait until that which is perfect is come as that which is in part is making a mockery of things.

Hi Steven,

I would be interested to see you show the scripture and explain how it would cause what I say to be incorrect. From what I see, the scripture you provide has nothing to do what "that which is perfect" as spoken in 1 Corinthians 13:8-9.

The leading of Scripture in this way:

The Hearts Desire of our Lord is seen in this-> With His Word desires are formed only for Him ...

no sensual perception needed as belief is formed From His Word and Holy Spirit.

1 Pe 1:6-12

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,

7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire,

may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love.

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the

end of your faith — the salvation of your souls.

10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would

come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when

He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12 To them it was revealed that,

not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those

who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven — things which angels desire to look into.

NKJV

Note that all that is will be set to fire and New will be in its place with exception to Word of God and that born of God!

2 Co 4:16-18

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day

by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of

glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are

seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

NKJV

The Crux of the matter

Jn 20:24-29

24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

25 The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them,

"Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails,

and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." 26 And after eight days His disciples were

again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the

midst, and said, "Peace to you!" 27 Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and

look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving,

but believing."

28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Jesus said to him,

"Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed.

Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

NKJV

Remember all this is the formation of His Brides heart that He 'IS' returning to bring to The Father

and To Marriage in Eternal Vow our Hope....

1 Jn 3:3

3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

NKJV

Eph 5:30-32

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 "For this reason a man shall

leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This

is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

NKJV

Brother of mine I have enough sense to know no one should in their heart say to The Husband His

Bride is not perfect... Love, Steven

Yes -truly if God is the same yesterday, today and forever -then all he said will be also -Jesus said to the apostles ; you shall do more mighty things ! -The spirit is who, God- the son is who ,God -the father is who ,God . When a person`s spirit is so ready and willing and open to the holy spirit -then even to raise the dead is within the power -after all its Gods power ! When the storm was raging on the sea of Galilee and apostles awoke Jesus to save them -what did he say to them -oh you men of little faith , their spirits were not strong enough yet . Daniel was sought by the king to to explain a dream to him -Daniel`s spirit was so strong in God he but had to, asked of God to show him and God did -God knew Daniel`s love for him . Your heart felt feelings for God and the purity of your desire for Gods pleasure living your life the best you can for him in his name is the key to freeing the Holy spirit much more in your self . Yes I firmly believe in the gifts of the spirit- but in this world today there are just to many distractions that keep more people from knowing and experiencing the awesome power of the Holy spirit .

Now the question becomes and just simply put: Do I believe that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me...

I have "heard" of an instance in my city where a woman was raised from the dead...she was dead for 4 hours..."asleep"...I totally believe it happened...and I have "heard" of others testimonies...haven't experienced it...YET...but fully in urgent expectation await the opportunity...

This is the amazing part...In the beginning of actually being given and living in The Gifts...I simply believed at first...Sought First The Kingdom...Was changed...My desire for worldly things was taken away...Actually living the scripture that says: Don't you know that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit? And I found out...He really doesn't like it polluted...Then the amazing part...This is what I did so much of...Just sat in my house waiting for The Gifts to Manifest...Silly me, The Gifts don't manifest unless something happens where they are needed!!! Looking back, as my little daughter says, that was just so silly!!!

Are they in operation today? Most assuredly Yes!!! Are we needing them more than ever right now? Most assuredly Yes!!! Who is Seeking The Kingdom of God? Who will walk in The Promise of that scripture? The Whole Bible Is True...Every Word...and if we aren't walking in what it says we can walk in...well...what I did was Desire The Things of God...

1 John 2:5-6

New King James Version (NKJV)

5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Have I done all this perfectly? Notta...But I have walked in HIm...and have seen some amazing things happen...My my...O God, You Are Good!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
