why would they have to create the sandy hook shooting? school shootings happen quite regularly, all they had to do was wait for one that would fit with their agenda. they just took advantage of a particularly horrendouse one.

First they passed Patriot Act to give themselves theright to monitor people without warrant. Then they enpower themselves with theNDAA to detain citizens for life without due process. To deal with the expectedresistence from people, they created Sandy Hook shooting to take over the gunsbefore they perform such law. Don't you realize it?

Can you show me in the NDAA where the government can detain you for life without due process??

Within the past year there have been several incidences that deals with the issues of guns..

The most impoartant of these incidences was that of Sandy Hook School.

Guns have been getting out of control and something needs to be done to stop this violence.

Yesterday was an incident again in Aurora Co. where the movie theater incident happened.

http://www.9news.com...Aurora-shootout

Now children are in fear where they are now wearing armored clothing, people are afraid to go shopping,

some even fear going to work and to church.

What in your opinion should happen to these guns? Should it be in control of the people still or just the government?

What do you believe should happen and how fast should it happen?

http://news.msn.com/...school-shooting

It isn't about gun control. It never was. The government wants the guns. All of them. Period.

But it doesn't stop there......

The latest debate is gun control, but peripheral issues are the size of a soda drink in NYC, whether or not you can use a styrofoam container or not and so on.

The real issue is the nanny state gone wild, what earlier generations called governmental oppression and tyranny.

The government wants to decide how we will and will not live. The government will decide what's good for us and what isn't. Be careful on this one, because the government has already decided that certain expressions of Christian faith are already illegal. When the government gets control it never lets go.

Bear in mind that this is the same government that lied about Iran having WMDs, that sends drone aircraft to bomb and kill innocent civilians in allied nations of the middle east, that still maintains a prison camp in Cuba holding and torturing men without trial. This is the same government that covers up its duplicity in its own terrorist activity.

And we are to trust Washington with our liberties?

There is an old saying that you get the government you deserve. America has turned its back on God and told Jesus to hit the road. So He has.

Is it a coincidence that at the same time we turned our back on God we also lost our liberty and our security?

God no longer blesses America. Those that still think so are dreaming. One tragedy is following another in quick succession and the only thing the church is doing about it is debating gay marriage - a rather dead issue in the face of more important matters. Keep talking and debating America. We'll talk and jabber ourselves straight to hell.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

No I mean show me in the NDAA. I've read a couple of hundred places where what is said is true, but it's not what the NDAA says unless they changed it this year.

I am not a owner of guns. It is doubtful I ever will be. Not a fan or supporter of them, but will by no means condemn a person who owns such and strives to protect his or her loved ones. That sort of weight, the weight of a life.... should be considered fully before pulling the trigger in any instance. Know some good people who own firearms. Truth be told though, guns scare me, much as they do many other individuals in this day and age. What is more frightening however is who is being allowed to own or carry them. No law though in which that may be passed is going to necessarily keep guns out of the hands of the wrong people.

These are are my thoughts, but guns have become more and more prominently used in acts of random violence since God began to be removed from schools, public, and government. The more trust that is given to man, the deeper in trouble mankind tends to find itself.

A gun is not any more dangerous then its owner. Gun violence does not exist-a gun can only do one of two things, function, or misfire. violence is in the heart. until you change the heart, you will not change violence.

Maybe not, but you are a fool to let a madman have a gun!

If never let a madman have a gun-no one would. But your a fool if you think banning guns will keep madmen from getting guns-all it will do is take away the honest mans ability to protect himself from the madman with a gun. The bad people will always have guns-period. Gun control ONLY affects the honest. And 90% of the time the only thing that stops a madman with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

I feel like one of the major problems In America is not our access to guns but our view on guns. Here, it is relatively easy to buy a firearm so long as you don't have a bad criminal record. The problem is our view on guns, many people are afraid to own a gun because of the news. Many people say "why would I ever need a gun" then, when someone breaks into their house all of a sudden security is a big issue. Many people can go from gun control supporters to NRA members by the single pull of a trigger. By that I mean they support gun control, shoot a gun, realize how fun it is, then demand that their second amendment rights not be stepped upon.

Weather you support or oppose gun control we all want the same thing, less shootings, less violent crimes. The truth is that we could have all of these things without touching our gun laws. We need a better justice system that puts dangerous criminals behind bars longer. Many people point out how England has less crime than America and also has strict gun-control policies. Well, that's because their justice system works.

Whenever the Media reports another shooting they keep saying things like "we're better than this" or "when will we learn". They want to convince us that taking away our guns is the correct solution. Well, when gun supporters offer a different solution, such as allowing teachers to conceal carry on school property so that they can play an active role in protecting the students, they say "well that's idiotic and dangerous" instead of considering the solution with an open mind. In other words, they plea for a solution to the violence but when the solution that is proposed isn't gun control they immediately shoot it down.

The only people who are truly afraid of guns are criminals. You know, politicians who want more control over the people. Most of them have bodyguards and some even ride around in armored vehicles with military-level protection at all times. Do you think they worry about a kid with a 9mm shooting them up?

Here is a well written article If you want further reading. To summarize, it takes the 10 most popular arguments for gun control and proves that they are no more than just myths.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
