Fall Festival @church

Hey everybody,

Just wanted to praise the Lord and also let those know who are so against alternative activities around Halloween, that several children were saved at our church's fall festival in the Good News Bracelet booth I felt the Lord leading me to do. The opportunity was absolutely wonderful to share the plan of salvation in small groups. Several children made decisions that we know of and one little girl who wasn't sure yet and will be talking more to one of our church members who is her neighbor. (Please pray for her...she has some Jehovah Witness background from having attended there with a relative....)

The Holy Spirit was definitely there!

Just thought I would share what the LORD did on any otherwise "evil" night!

Amazed, Praise God ! That is such great news ! I feel very strongly about children meeting Jesus and these testimonys like yours offer great hope. Thanks for sharing that.

I too was wondering if there are any discipleship programs or anything to follow up with these kids, and help them GROW.

What? Saved at a Fall Festival? That can't be allowed! Who authorized this? Ohhh

Jesus did huh? Well, ok then, why didn't you say so to start with.

I'm gonna need a list of the music that was played during this Festival, you know, make sure that this wasn't using the wrong beat. There were no drums there, right?

What a wonderful report! The angels are rejoicing! Jesus is saving the lost, and it is so sad that so many Christians are debating the acceptability of the methods.

(1 Cor 9:21 KJV) To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

(1 Cor 9:22 KJV) To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

(1 Cor 9:23 KJV) And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

Re: follow-up

The two kids that I know that actually received Jesus as their Lord and Savior go to other churches....one Methodist and one Church of God. I am Baptist, but that does not matter. I told them to make sure they let their parents & pastor know. If there was one I knew who definitely accepted who did not go to church, I would have followed up with them.

The one who is close to a decision but with the JW background will be follow-up by someone who is her neighbor.

There are several others who it seemed the Holy Spirit was working on...those particular groups were larger ....saw espressions and eyes that remained closed after being led in a group prayer..............possible other ones but I don't know for sure.....pray the Father will place people in their path who will continue to water, etc, and be an encouragement to them

We do have lists of people who registered at the entrance to the fall festival so we can hopefully follow-up on the unchurched.
