I guess I doubt because the enemy likes to whisper into my ear that I am a loser and always get the raw end of every deal. I am always last with every thing so I wouldn't be too surprised if I get left behind. I don't go out on missions, I don't go to church because I work on Sundays, I have a bit of a temper problem and get stressed out sometimes, I can be pretty selfish. I don't consider myself holy enough.

I think of people getting raptured as those who have followed the Lord wherever He goes, who have given Him their all, who witness to everyone they meet with boldness. These people have all kinds of holy patience with their children and never fall into temptation with food or pre-marital sex (like a friend I know ;) ). I just keep missing the mark over and over again no matter how hard I try :(. I have a hard time believing God will say "well done good and faithful servant...". I know I have the Holy Spirit, but aren't there Christians who God will tell them "I never knew you" as they try and make it in?

Sorry for unloading all my anxieties on ya'll! But I feel like I can trust you guys not to judge me to harshly!

God bless!

Hello Bornagain2011,

I think from the bolded you may reassess how God sees you and maybe how you see God. God loves you regardless of your efforts you can not please Him by trying harder. You will please Him by your faith that  Christ Jesus has redeemed you from the pit.

Eph_2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

I agree. If they are persecuted and beheaded for refusing to take the mark, then they may as well just take the mark if they have no chance of salvation.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:9-13

There is no such thing as a second chance.

The tribulation is a second chance.I hope this post does not turn out to be a huge pre-post-mid trib debate.I do not think that is what bornagain intended.

Why do you claim that the Tribulation is a second chance? God calls all who would be His before He closes the end of the Church era. There are no second chances. If a person rejects Christ in the time of great freedom and moves of Holy Spirit, what makes you think anyone will come to Christ under duress and in the midst of catastrophe, with millions of lives being lost all around them?

Everything in scripture points to the wicked as refusing to repent.

Revelation 9:20

But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk!

Revelation 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Revelation 16:9

Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.

Revelation 16:11

and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.

TODAY is the day of salvation.

Some Bible interpreters believe that their will be absolutely no chance for salvation after the rapture.Their is no place in the Bible which says this or even hints at it.There will be many people who come to Christ during the tribulation. The 144,000 Jewish witnesses  Revelation 7:4 are believers. If no one can come to Christ during the tribulation, then why are people being beheaded for their faith Revelation 20:4?.

2 Thesalonians 2:9-11

Revelation 6:9-11 speaks of those martyred during the tribulation.

the tribulation is sorta like a second chance but as your own scriptures shows it will be only for the jews, the Church/ bride is gone, none of the Church christians will be left behind after the taken Up, I thes. 4 those that are asleep in Christ( the Bride, then we which are alive WE < being christians, are taken up(raptured) in the clouds where Jesus is at, and will be with him forever

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Hey brothers and sisters in Christ.

This question is for Christians who believe in the pre-trib rapture. I don't wish to debate the various rapture theories, so I will not respond to posts from people trying to start a debate.

Is anyone else besides me a little worried that they might be left behind when the rapture happens?

I know that I am a born again believer, but I just keep screwing up in my life sometimes, it makes me worry that I might be left behind. I have only been a Christian for 2 years now and my fiancé says these are normal fears for new Christians. What do you guys think? How do you get over this fear?

Thank you in advance! God bless!

Natalie

There's nothing wrong with having this fear. It shows that you're not taking your salvation for granted.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
