Kuada:  Well, my family was in a lower middle class income bracket, and OUR taxes went down!  We also finally had the government send back $300 of the money they annually steal from us (taxes)....THAT WAS A FIRST!

I'm sorry you didn't bother to do the rudimentary math for yourself, and instead simply chose to just accept the Marxist lies as gospel truth, but I'm sure if you apply yourself, you will be able to do the addition and subtraction on your own, which will clearly prove otherwise!

I don't think you will actually bother doing it, but I'm sure you could.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, we got our money back too, and our taxes went down too, but we just got the OK to borrow another 800 billion or so dollars from the federal reserve to make ends meet, and your great great great gradnchildren most likely won't be able to pay it all back...

I agree, don't pay too close attention to the lies coming from polititions these days. Some are Marxist, others..... well who knows where they come from.

Really biting my tongue here..................:21::):P

Remember, I was raised in a Communist household, and know EXACTLY what they have planned for America since the 1940's. You guys on the Left ARE DOING IT!!!! Letter for letter, with every "i" dotted and every "t" crossed.

Read Lenin's 'Revolutionary Catechisms,' you will see yourselves mentioned over and over....

I really love the way you guys treat first posters........

Kuada, welcome to WorthyBoards, for what it is worth not everyone here is brash and uncaring as some of these first responders seem to be.

They question your christanity and write like heathens.

It is not Kuada that should be ashamed of themselves for calling themselves christians.

I live in Salem, Oregon, the Capitol of one of the most liberal states in the Union, yet locally we have several organizations which actively support the poor, the hungry and the desolute. I have given to our local Union Gospel Mission for years, as do many others. It provides a shelter, clothes and food for the homeless and helps them to get "back on track" of their lives. They often get their first dose of Christianity and the Gospel right there. Portland also has a UGM.

But not only this, the churches in the area each or in combination with one another provide food and clothing and monetary support for the hungry, poor, orphan, widow and otherwise desolute. This nation is one of the biggest "givers" in the world and I'm sure it is because God has sought to prosper us for that purpose. So if you don't SEE such local "giving" in your area, you may even want to "start one up".

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

P.S. Jesus makes the statement: "The poor you shall have with you always."

That's great!

My point in posting this quote, though, which I hope came through, is that if we did more for the needy, the government wouldn't need to and could focus more on running the country.

I'd rather see One Accord and Kuada doing more to provoke us to do the work ourselves and getting our churches more active in doing the work ourselves rather than provoking us to hate the president.

Leonard, open your eyes, it is not just the left that is doing it, it is the whole bunch doing it while they have us agruing about who is doing it.

You may have grown up in a communist country, and that is fine. I have close people who grew up around Nazi Germany and there is a whole different bunch to watch over.

Open your eyes people..... nothing.... nothing is what it seems.......

Besides that, I don't care if you grew up in the back alley's of lower manhatten, no one should treat any first poster with anything but patients and love on this board...... period.

I recall Jesus saying these 8 words. They are very important ! Love one another as I have loved You ! John 13:34. I am sensing a lot of ill feelings in this post. They are quite clear to see. I feel everyone has a right to there opinion. Dialogue here is for that purpose to sort things out correctly according to Gods word. I sense hostility towards a person that has made there first post. I welcome Kuada to. To Judge anyone and say there not christian from one post. OH MY !!!

I feel sad right now because some here are portraying negetivity in all the sense of that words meaning. Thats my take and those 8 words in John that I posted at top of this reply. Maybe we should exercise there meaning in this situation. Welcome Kuada I hope you come back to post again and I would'nt blame you if ya didnt . I am not sure if I would after all that happened here. Are'nt we supposed to disipcle each other ? Are'nt we suppose to be reflections of Jesus in all we say and do ?

Oh one more thing, the outright attack on Kuada may leave wounds that won't go away. Did anyone consider how you would feel if this had happened to you. Maybe he/she came here looking for guidance, for strength. Shame on us for hurting this man/woman, shame on us who would cast the first stone. Maybe he/she is only a christian of a short time. Maybe a christian of many years. Wounding someones spirit no matter the calibur of christian/person they are, is very incorrect. I am deeply saddened by this.

You're right.

Jesus did say when someone slaps us on the right cheek, we should turn to him the other also.

I am guessing a lot of people are feeling weary by this though. Weariness brings testiness.

I know my first reaction was, "Oh no, not again!"

And why is it that the people posting protests against Bush don't post much about anything else? (OK, Other One has been the exception, but everyone else . . . ).

It is very weary.

No, beating each other up over politics and claiming "I'm better than you" is not the answer - but this must come from both sides.

I'm beginning to wonder if Christians should just stay away from politics so as not to support any immorality and let the non-Christains run the country . . .

OK, sorry - I don't believe that.

It is just getting so frustrating and weary . . . .

Well you are getting dialogue.

Thomas, do you care to show where one person said that Kuada is not a Christian? And don't try to say it was inferred, because it wasn't.

Oh one more thing, the outright attack on Kuada may leave wounds that won't go away.

I don't see an attack Kuada, but people are tired of all the Bush bashing, and blaming Bush and America for everyone elses problems.

Kuada started a controversial thread, and neither you nor Kuada have the right to complain if it breeds some controversy.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
