Mat 23:37-44

As we see, when Jesus came to the world through Mary ,nobody even one received Him .So my worries is this ,how sure are we that He won't get us unaware in His second coming. He stated very clear that He'll come like a thief. Can you know the time a thief will come to your house ?

If you are prepared at all times and are in the Lord then you will not have a problem.I do not believe that I will go in the second coming.I believe I will go in the Rapture which could be at any minute.

Jesus will not come unawares to those who know the times and seasons as Paul wrote to other believers.  He only comes as a thief in the night to those who do not believe because they do not know the times and seasons.

In the end times, the beast will change the times, and indeed this has already happened as our calendar got messed up. Then when a fellow like me comes along and points this out to other Christians, I'm oftentimes seen as a kook. But we've been so Gentilized over the years we think that what we now know is normal and something that is of the Lord, but it is not.

I know exactly what time he will come on any given year.  I know not what year, but I know when he will come during any given year, based on the feasts. He won't come tonight, so you can rest well if you feel you still need to repent.   We have about a month yet if it's this year.

He will come like a thief in the sense that we won't know when hes coming-but like in the parable of the 10 virgins, (matthew 5) the 5 who who were ready when the groomsmen came, who had oil for their lamps, while they didn't know when the groomsmen would show up they were ready regardless, while the other 5 were caught unawares. We as christians have no idea when Christ will come-at all, however, since we are always ready, we will not be caught by surprise.

Nobody knows the hour or the day monthe or year.. not even the angels::

Matthew 24:36-44 – But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Fro as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then two shall be in the field: one shall be taken, the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Well, one thing I'm not clear with is , if this generation can make better from Jesus's time ,when God ordained people such as high priests and law keepers didn't recognise Jesus as the Lord.He came to his own but his own did not received him. (John 1:11) Can we have assurance that "his own" will not let him down for the second time ?

So let me get this straight.  Nobody knows when he's coming.  You don't know when he's coming.  Like in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking and they knew nothing until the flood came.  Does that include Noah, or was he already on board?  Or to put it another way, you're telling us all you may miss the boat so-to-speak?

Really now. If I'm going to make such a claim as I did, don't you think I am already aware of this scripture? If it was this simple to disprove what I said, then I would not know my bible well, would I?

I mentioned this before somewhere else.  In their culture, what Jesus stated would be clearly associated with the feast of Trumpets.  Unlike all the other festivals, only this one nobody knew when it would have started.  They had to watch for a new lunar crescent. But they knew when it was about to be seen.  Someone (e.g. a Gentile) would not know that, or maybe would not use such a calendar, so like any Gentile they are eating and drinking and making merry when it comes as a surprise.  But, as Paul stated:

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

But everyone and their brother is so wrapped up in their Lents, and Halloweens, and Christmases (Daniel 7:25, Galatians 4:10-11) and disregard the prophetic feasts of the Lord, that yes, the Lord will come as a thief to them, while those who dutifully follow their meanings are told "you are not under the Law" and somehow view these "set times" of the Lord with disdain.

It was written that the Jews would reject Jesus (if this what you mean). Because if the Jews accepted him he would not have died on the cross. Even Satan was fooled by Jesus's death and subsequent resurrection. The Jews were not Christ-killers. They did not know what they were doing. This was God's plan. Of course many Jews did turn to Christ, but this is not what I meant. The Jewish lawkeepers and priests rejected him. God knew that they were influenced by Satan and Satan's plan was to kill the Messiah. Satan succeeded in this, but he failed because he did not know that the Messian was meant to die.

The Jews of 'faith' will recognise him the second time (they will mourn for him who they pierced). We too (the believing Gentiles) will recognise him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
