Do people act weird around you?

English is not my first language but I want to talk about this very real phenomenon where people (both known and unknown) act weird around for no reason. I am going to number experience by experience and I want you to tell me if this has happened to you as well. I'm not exactly asking for advice since there isn't much of a problem but some weirdness for sure...

 

1. Strangers walking past  me trip and fall on perfectly flat ground.No kidding,Sometimes as soon as I look at someone that person drops to the floor immediately losing his balance. This occurrences are subject to mood. Whenever I feel irritated or have a high feeling of something to come it happens more often but even when I feel normal it happens. When I was in kindergarten I looked at a girl who bullied me and she tripped while running and broke her head, I didn't wish harm on her I just looked at her for a second and it happened. The last time it happened I was angry at my dad and waiting for him in the parking lot and I looked a girl who was walking from her car and she bent her ankle and fell in the middle of the street and seemed disoriented.Somebody told me once I have a huge aura and it affects others because it is powerful..I don't know anymore

 

2. People seemed mesmerized or instantly hate me. Some look at me and forget what they are going to say or feel nervous, others instantly dislike me and start bullying me for no reason (they don't even know im a christian and I never spoken to them before) At 25 years old I never have a boyfriend, men bully me and are verbally abusive or run from me or get obsessed. I never had good experience with men. Let me tell you about my looks, I am Spanish with white skin, black hair and brown eyes, I have a good body but nothing too out there, I have been told I look like Monica Belluci ....im pretty sure this has nothing to do with my looks but with my energy. One guy told me he had wonderful dreams of me where there was a light around me so I am thinking something out there is interfering with how people perceive me. I had a two weeks dating and kissing with another man at college and for no good reason one day he turned his back and never looked me in the eye again.  I have prayed and prayed, did spiritual warfare prayer and im still there apparently, I have become a hermit and only have one female friend that understand me! Those who can see tell me I have healing energy around me and many are not prepared to be healed and so they feel threatened by my presence because it goes deep within them without saying a word and we are in a "my business is none of your business " culture that is highly private....

 

but this is my problem, I am taking a course for christian counseling, how am I supposed to counsel anyone when I receive such weirdness from people? Are you in the same situation?

     I welcome you to Worthy.....no I am not in the same situation and it has not happened to me.What exactly are you referring to when you say''those who can see'',see what?

    You made comments on your "aura''and also your "energy" and these things are usually terms used by people whos beliefs are not supported by the Word of God....I am not saying you are not a Christian,I am wondering who are are talking to for advice and why you are thinking along those lines.You mentioned you have prayed spiritual warfare prayers and you are still there,still where?

    Estrellas,I am just trying to understand your plight,I just get the impression that someone or something is trying to lead you to believe you have some kind of extraordinary powers and this concerns me....because I care....

    The only "power"we(Christians) can have access to or should have access to is the power of the Holy Spirit,the Holy Spirit Who is our Comforter,our Counselor...He is not prompted to do our bidding....and nothing of God is going to cause people to bend their ankle and fall,being motivated or triggered by your anger,this is not a healing energy(what is a healing energy?)

    You said your are not looking for advice but please receive what I am suggesting to you.....Study the Word of God,seek God and pray for Wisdom and Understanding,look to the elders at your church if you attend one-if not join a local church and get involved but by all means do not isolate and do not attempt spiritual warfare without proper guidance if you are not wearing the full armor of God and understand what it is really all about.

I second what Kwik wrote. I used to be into energy and aura things in the past myself to see what it was all about, and my conclusion was that the spirit of God doesn't mix with the spirit of the world. I'm not judging you I'm just warning you...

Hello Estrellas,

I am picking up just from reading your words that your not at peace with yourself. Sometimes trying to get acceptance from people instead of from God will always end in conflict and rejection. God is at peace with you. God has cleared the path for us. In col 3:15 it says let the peace of God rule your heart.

Keep yourself in the love of God. A awareness of God. This will cause your heart to live in peace. Realize your value. You are valuable to God. Start focusing on something good about yourself. Only trying to help you see that you dont need acceptance from others to feel good.

Estrellas , I will be keeping you in prayer , good advise here , just keep your focus on the Lord and he will show you the to go

praying as well. Short notice; even some things we consider as a gift of the Spirit, like prophecy might actually be spirit of clairvoyance. I am not saying one thing or another about your case but getting discernment (of the Holy Spirit) certainly helps. Sometimes we think we are on a solid ground in Christ where there actually are a thing or two to be cleansed which are seem much like to be of God but are not. I learnt this the hard way and pray you get an easier path as for this.

 

It's not about condemning, but when we repent sometimes closes the door for the demonic as God's forgiveness makes us whole again.

 

Just some thoughts. Been there too and on my way home now.

I honestly think the world is a weird place. People are weird in general. I've come to the conclusion that all that's left in the 21st century is money, agenda's and power. My philosophy is that, "how can anybody look at this fallen, destroyed, cigarette infested world and say no to the free gift of salvation. What exactly are you living for if not for Christ? The system that we're in is of the devil. It's exhausting to live in, no doubt. Sometimes I feel like I'm just a ghost in this world and my thoughts are already bought and paid for. So if you wanna be weird around me, go ahead. Avoid asking me the question that's been on your mind lately, lol.
