A Question for Worthy Christians

Well the 7 letters are divine judgments throughout all time.

 

It's not a matter of it being directed towards our modern world, but the judgments are always the same. So in the end times, I feel absolutely technology is a huge factor in Revelation.

 

Quoting Daniel 12:4

But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

 

If the end hasn't come yet, then it'll be in the future and technology will continue to expand.

What could be more perfect a plan than an entire world controlled through technology under the power of one man's leadership?

Nah, I am not calling it evil. But it could entirely be manipulated to serve evil intentions, and does offer them by the power of choice.

The internet can be, and is used, to undermine the power of states. The internet can be used to spread the gospel as much as allow for access to porn. I don't think you could label the internet a tool of evil or good per se, it all depends on the users and people who throw stuff up. In that sense it's a neutral medium.

     I think I see what you are trying to convey a little better,,,,yea,I'm sure the internet will play a large part in helping those in places of authority as tools to try and manipulate and deceive the masses......sure,as well as television and other technology as you are pointing out

     But we have and always will have free will and it will always be each persons choice what and Who they want to serve.

I used the passage in the  OP (in the past) to point out that women teaching grown men theology etc. was wicked (akin to 1 Timothy 2:9-15) till the Spirit posed the question to me "So it's better the truth never gets out then?"

 

Then he showed me how woefully understaffed Christianity is in the priesthood department (which ALL believers are called to). Most believers buy into the unbiblical division clergy / laity to get out of Bible duty and to live like the world.

3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

I agreed this is quite a necessary exception to the rule... and he assured me that this was good for me to realize this (because I was quite a pest and nuisance to women pastor / teachers having all sorts of airtight arguments). But with the worldliness, cowardice, ignorance, or laziness of male believers the world over... the need outweighs the "propriety" of 1 Timothy 2:9-15 and other verses. Good, the Holy Spirit said to me, that's why I worked through the prophetess Deborah and the women who went to the empty tomb and with Rhoda who answered the door when Peter was freed and no male answered or believed he was at the door till Peter kept pounding.

 

Anyway, the OP passage was applied in my argumentation against women preachers. 

 

Now I see it as spiritual misleading and spiritual fornication which a case could be made that the division between clergy and laity itself is... ironic. I know...

Oh, about pornography, I found some great FREE DNS for blocking porn and other family non-friendly sites. One even blocks the State run lottery sites as "gambling." Wish they figure out a way to block still images that are quite evil.

Norton version 3 is super strict and the one I use. to undo this click on obtain DNS server automatically and it clears the other you typed in.

 

It's not as complicated as it sounds.
