Verse 2a, And the Lord say to satan The Lord rebuke thee,O Satan....

Blessings Jerry...

I only know what the Word says that for now we see dimly and in part....but one day we shall be as Christ is in His glorified Body....so I think it is not a Body of flesh as we know it & neither just spirit as we perceive it.....its something else entirely that I do not believe there is anything on this earth to compare......and since satan is the accuser I do think he has some access to stand in Gods court.....but only for a time.......Someday we will have all these answers but for now we can only speculate...

Was he not casteth down to Earth? I don't think he is allowed to do all the stuff he used to after Jesus was crucified and resurrected. So now he is more bound to Earth than before. Although air is mentioned as one of his regions of dominion, I don't think Heaven will have to tolerate his arrogance. Because he sinned, he was cast down and all those who obeyed him and not God.

You cannot get to Heaven with sin, that's why we too need to be washed clean with the blood of Jesus. Only He who is completely human yet absolutely divine and holy was able to redeem us. But Satan, well, he's got quite a list of sins which he probably does not even consider to repent on.

On the other, apparently Heaven too has some kind of organization. The Bible speaks at least of three different heavens.

Second Heaven - Outer Space, the starry heavens (Deuteronomy 17:3; Jeremiah 8:2; Matthew 24:29).

Perhaps the second heaven, outer space could still be Satan's region to some extent, when we think of the possible alien/demon scenarios.

Third Heaven - This is where God and the holy angels (and creatures) and spirits of just men dwell. It is called “The heaven of heavens,” (Deuteronomy 10:14; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalms 115:16; 148:4). (1Kings 8:27) - “The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you.” (Psalm 2:4) The One enthroned in heaven laughs; The LORD scoffs at them.”

The third heaven is beyond the space and stars. Where no man has seen by telescope. This heaven is the dwelling-place of God, to which Paul was taken, and whose wonders he was permitted to behold-this region where God dwells.

It is specifically named “the third heaven” by Paul in 2 Cor.12:2. Paul mentions being caught up to paradise in 2 Corinthians 12:4 the word “paradise” describes a different facet of “the third heaven.” (http://www.letusreason.org/Biblexp130.htm)

If some can come up with other scriptures to give more insight, that's great.

That's where I leave this, got to go feed the horses.

Until his final judgment Satan is "the prince of this world" John 14:30,but it seems that he still has restricted access to the Heavenly realms.

1.Satan does not have open access to God's presence. He is summoned by God.

2.The visits are temporary. His time before God's throne is limited.

3.In no way is the purity of heaven tainted by the brief visits.

4.Satans access is only granted prior to the final judgment.

When we say "God cannot allow sin in heaven", we simply mean that God cannot allow human beings who are still in their sin to live in His presence.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down , which accused them before our God day and night.

It was the case then, I do not see why it should not also be the case now?.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD.

Bless you.

Edwin.

I think Hindsfeet hit it on the head.

I believe Satan definitely had access to heaven at one point in time. I don't know if he was able to get into heaven, but at the very least he had access to the entrance or gates of heaven.

"Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD." Job 2:1

I believe when Satan showed up in heaven he came as a representative of earth. (The other sons of God may have been representatives from unfallen worlds that had not fallen as earth has.)

As has been previously stated, Satan lost his access to heaven once Christ died on the cross. Satan was no longer the representative for earth. The Bible indicates that he realized that he was bound to this earth. Notice what the Bible says - "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child." Revelation 12:13.

So he was cast out of heaven but still able to show up at heaven's gate, but after Christ victory on the cross he is no longer able to leave this earth.

i can't say that he has access to heaven, but he obviously has access to God.  I was pondering this question and came t the conclusion that we really don't know where God was when Satan and the angels presented themselves to God.  I had always presumed it was in heaven, but if God could walk with Adam in the garden, He certainly isn't stuck in heaven.

pondering more....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
