I am sure that Walid Shoebat is looking at scripture from a very different viewpoint than anyone from the West. He came out of Islam and had a very different understanding than we, those of us who were never a Muslim, could ever know.

When it comes to the topic of "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH", Shoebat is looking at scripture from a very different viewpoint than Jesus Christ, the Apostle John and several Old Testament prophets.  As such, his false teachings in regards to the same ought to be shunned.

 

 

According to you.  He has a different view, and until the time is upon us, your theory is just a theory as is his.  Please stop calling someone a lier that is not here to defend himself.  Discuss the subject, not the person.

Okay so we have Shoebats teaching, then Ih8s8n's points of contention (according to scripture) posted earlier on the same.

Then someone else asserting very surely that no one can know for sure, but who quickly thereafter questions the confidence of any such surety Ih8s8n seems to have. Who perhaps comes off far more certain (of himself) then most and less wishy washy. Which doesnt necessarily make him correct to have confidence in what he believes (according to scripture) but he at least gave folks who oppose his stand something to aim at. 

 

Outside of that there are some "seems to be's", "might be's" "I would think so's" and "who can really know for sure's"?
 

Unless only one thing can be known for sure and it's that no one can know for sure?

So how dare he feel so sure of it? lol

Then another goes into stuff Shoebat might have asserted he did (bearing witness to himself) and then Ih8s8n posts news reports calling into question those things he says he did. And only through the which he is understood to be (and therefore) called a liar. Even as by the words of his own mouth.

Sorta like they do to Obama, if he says one thing (on video) and then another (on another video) and then come the dreaded  "liar" (because "behold"!).

 

Thats pretty commonplace.

Lastly, a rebuke issued to double back and adress the actual teaching of Shoebat (which was the first thing concentrated on from the very start). So his teaching was firstly adressed. It seemed more like when any drooling over (or praise of) his person started it was met with a rebuke to the same.

 

Which could probably be understood as tipping the scales back to keep him in the proper perspective.

Sorta like blowing the stardust out of folks eyes.

Maybe not the best way to go about it, who knows? But one could look at it as a praise (without proof) was simply met with a rebuke (with a little of it).

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
