Blessings other one...

Oh,boy do I ever know that feeling,I have almost broke down in tears one time as I wrote someone very heartfelt letter that I was pouring out everything I had for over an hour.....I know what you are going through & you know you are in my prayers but my only disability at the computer is that I have only learned how to use it 4 months ago & although my other 4 fingers are willing & able(they still don't work?LOL)

So I do sympathize with you & I must agree that the only thing normal is change....lol       I hope you have a great day & God bless you!

My wife is a Filapina. Her family lives in the Philippines.

They get up to 20 tropical storms a year, some of which become typhoons (the name is Typhoon in Asia, Cyclone in Africa and parts of Indian ocean and Hurricane in USA). They are all the same thing except their rotation differs depending in which hemisphere they are in. Kind of like in the USA the water going down your drain turns in the opposite direction to what it does in Africa.

They expect these storms and prepare for them. Many people prepared for this one, with stored water and food for a few days as normal.

What did most of the damage was the Tsunami in front of the storm, 15 ft high in some places.

No one was prepared for the strongest storm in history ever to make landfall. No one could be.

The storm season for the Philippines is normal, the individual storm, typhoon Haiyan, was not.

It is so funny that you mentioned the strange behavior in animals,I was just reading in the Bible about the wild beasts attacking & at the same time there was a report of a mountain lion in captivity for many years that mauled & killed his keeper, this has become a frequent occurrence lately & I noticed the tigers in India have seemingly started to consider man to be a food source as there are more & more attacks right in the villages.Oh,and look at the elephants wreaking havoc in Africa with no fear of man(have they suddenly realized their size & strength?Even the chimpanzee attacks for no apparent reason, like gangs out to get man with a vengeance! There are many strange things happening in the animal kingdom,it is well worth noticing

Wow, I didn't even know about this.  I heard about about the mountain lion attacked it's keeper, but not the other things. I thought elephants were herbivores and never caused trouble fr man unless we attacked them?  And what happened with the Chimpanzees?  I hadn't heard anything of this?

I'd say we're in the time Jesus called "the beginning of birth pains".

I will say this for people with kids. Don't discuss this unless they aren't home, you know for a fact that they're sleeping, or lost in a TV show. We've been wrong so often before, let's not scare the kids. Okay everyone with kids, don't scare them?  We just don't yet if we're right, or what is coming next.

It's simple really.

Man has taken up space that these animals needed to live and forage. As they are squeezed into tighter and tighter spaces, and people are using natural resources like wood for charcoal, land for slash and burn agriculture (an acre of banana's in a slashed down swamp forest is enough to put a child through rural school), human and animal contact becomes more frequent.

Elephants in corn fields are there because the trees that they used to eat are gone and sugar cane and corn are planted in their place. Elephants have to eat. Tigers in villages on the edge of the Sundervan reserve in India are after goats, etc, because the land that supports their natural prey is being used for farming. people are then taken because they are easy prey, (and enter it's territory to gather wood, fish illegally, etc) and once a tiger is over it's fear of man, it will continue.

Elephants are unpredictable, wild, and often angry animals, there is nothing calm about them in the main (I work near them daily, and track them every day using cell phone technology). It is best to stay away from them. I know them ,and I do.

Same goes for Hippo's who kill more people in Africa than any other wild animal (they live in water and people need water as well). I have shot Hippo's and crocodiles that have attacked people.

The attacks have a simple explanation.

There are too many people, not enough land, no control over the destruction of our environment, and animals pushed to the brink.

I think what makes the normal look abnormal, is the people. If a tree falls in the woods and no

one's around to hear it, does it make a sound? If a category 5 hurricane hit Louisiana 500 years

ago, would the damage have been just as bad?

People make the difference. Around the year 1800 the worlds population hit the 1 billion mark.

200 years later that mark has risen to 7 billion. The number of people moving into the paths of

these storms is increasing everyday. An F5 tornado moving across the plains is nothing, until you

stick a town in front of it and then it becomes a different story.

Besides mans' encroachment into areas previously deserted, his presence is also having an affect

on the earth both above and below ground.

Left to his own devices, man would eventually destroy this planet.

Blessings Everyone,

Yes ,JTC it is true that  is happening and it is of course exactly for the reasons our Brother Fez has described, you can turn on the Discovery Channel or Nat Geo(even Animal Planet ) & learn all about it....of course the reasons why are pretty obvious(except for the chimps)but that was not my point really....the Bible does not & need not give the reasons for these poor animals(wild beasts) attacking, the point is they are......I do not see the 4th seal being opened(or any yet)but I really do believe we are beginning to feel (or see) the birth pains of the beginning of sorrows(but that is clearly off topic)

Perhaps Brother Fez knows about the natural reserve incident with the chimpanzees(although all the experts cannot  give an explanation for this horrific occurance)A couple of chimps got riled up & began attacking & mutilating a group of men passing through, inciting the other chimps & it was an all out chase for miles, will intent to kill...the entire troupe went ape(no pun intended)...anyway I do believe it was territorial as chimpanzees are very territorial creatures....I really don't remember much of the facts...Fez,I thought the most deaths in Africa was caused by the mosquito(but I guess thats not an animal or a wild beast-lol)But is that true?

We can give explanations ,I am sure ,for all odd animal behavior...they are forced into these situations by man & act instinctively(survival)....even the mammals beached are attributed to sonar testing.....it is still strange to me not really because of the animals but because it is prophesied

I do hope there isn't anyone that would frighten their children with adult conversations such as these"the sky is falling"?

:cool2:  But you are right about the mosquito! It is the biggest killer on the planet when it comes to malaria.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
