Shalom, everyone.

It would seem to me that Iran and all others like her should remember (or learn the first time) the prophecy:

Isaiah 54:1-17
1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
KJV

Although this is a prophecy about the future Millennium, there is a trickle-down effect. If no weapon formed against Isra'el shall prosper in the FUTURE, it only stands to reason that they must survive to the future! Therefore, no weapon formed against them today is going to "wipe them off the face of the earth!" If a country like Iran should try, it would only be hurting itself! IT WILL BACKFIRE! There's a better than even chance that they will BLOW THEMSELVES UP with their nuclear weapons!

Wondering if the easing of sanctions on Iran will hasten the Magog war against Israel prophesied in Ezekiel 38,39?   Once the US Senate ratifies the treaty, will this empower Iran and bring us closer to this prophetic war?

Blessings shiloh357, can you sum up what Ezekiel 38-39 are speaking of and what the word Magog or gog means. Is there specific scripture that points out prophecy about future war of (Iran/Israel) in Ez 38-39. Do these chapters happen before/during/after the seven seals or great tribulation? In verse 39:25 does the Lord restore Israel AFTER the great trib when Satan is bound a thousand years?

Ezek 38 and 39 speak of a global alliance of European and Islamic nations that will descend on Israel and I believe that the leaders of this co-olition will be Russia and Iran.  I don't think Iran will get to use a nuke and so this will be next best thing to nuking Israel.  We see an overwhelming army that is designed for one purpose:  to wipe Israel out once and for all.

I believe this war precedes the tribulation.  I think the supernatural defeat of these nations will pave the way for Israel to be allowed to build the third temple which the anti-/christ will desecrate. The Gog Magog war will end with a resounding defeat of Islam and Islamic nations will not have the will to oppose Israel any longer.

you can look at Ezekiel and pick the areas that it's speaking of.

These are the areas that Noah's grandsons settled.

I began to read the Book of Genesis first then Exodus and only as high as Leviticus. I had stopped reading the Bible and when I started reading again I started from Matthew. Pretty much I have been more familiar with New Testament Bible verses. So to be honest I have not read all Old Testament Books and chapters. . But over the past couple of years I have been implementing more Old Testament understanding to the New Testament. I did not know the Old Testament had so much to say about New Testament Prophecy fulfillment.

Learning about Daniel 12 helped me more to understand about the final hours of the 7 year Tribulation. I’m working on the Bible phase by phase little by little trying to at best connecting Old Testament with New Testament Scripture saying in my heart God knows all Things. If I am in a mystery of things the Lord knows my heart and my intentions and like everyone at Worthy I’m trying to find the answers.

Well recently I have been perplexed of this millennium 1000 years to occur after the Great Trib, the purpose of this age, and how things will be during this time. This is in Revelation Chapter 20 only in the New Testament trying to work with this chapter. If one reads this chapter they will see that after the 1000 years had expired Satan is loosed for a short time. Not only that but it also says there would be a Great War of Gog and Magog. So I believe the war of Gog and Magog happens after the Trib and after the 1000 years. See in Revelation chapter 20 the words Gog and Magog specified in that time period.

Now we went to read the book of Ezekiel Chapter 38 where we find this war. While it does appear that Ezekiel 38 seems like the war of the Great Trib there are some things that brings us to Revelation chapter 20 the End of 1000 years. . In Ezekiel 38 there is a mention of Hail stones and fire. Such is mentioned in Revelation 20 after the millennium. But Ezekiel also speaks of earthquake Rev. 20 does not. However I believe Ezekiel 38 is a bigger picture description of Revelation 20 that they can be put together. Because see in both Ezekiel 30 and Rev. 20 they will be numbered as the sand.

Therefore I don’t believe Gog and Magog will happen during the 7 year Trib, but only after the 1000 years. It makes sense because Ezekiel 38 actually talks about total elimination of all mankind even the birds of the air. I think then this fits as why the Second resurrection of the judgment and books are opened at this time.

Because after Rev. 20 which is Ezekiel 30 war Gog and Magog final judgment of the Book of Life is opened and all then are judged according to their works. So then after this is Rev. Chapter 21. Because after the war of Ezekiel 38 God will destroy the old Earth and old Heaven and He will make a New Heaven and New earth. Because in Chapter 21 has nothing more to do with any other time of History where God’s perfect peace is not put in place. Chapter 21 and 22 Rev. is the End of all ages while at the End of the Trib is the end of the Church age and begins the Millennium Age.

Why does God separate this 1000 years? Why is Satan released at the end? And why does God allow this war of Gog and Magog?  And the answer is??? I’m not certain as of yet but I am believing by faith even now if I don’t understand I trust God knows what God is doing. After all for several years I did not understand the Trinity and many other things in the Bible. It took me years to learn and understand. So if I don’t understand Gog and Magog or the millennium maybe it will take more years to know why.

If I am in a situation where I don’t understand my heart must say God I don’t know what this is or why. But you said so. I believe you anyways. One day I am sure for those things I don’t know of you will make things clear. Remember what Paul says

·  1 Corinthians 13:12 NIV

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
