Interesting to be sure, I like the article.  My wide "L" loops seem to cancel out my Long Crosses on my "T's".  Was searching for the green ink category but did not find it.

It does mention research conducted by the "National Pen Company" but I have to seriously question how statistically significant a lot of these correlations are.

The FBI uses handwriting experts to profile serial killers and terrorists, so I guess there is something in it. (not just to match handwriting, but to read between the lines as it where). Read the article and look at the signature section. It describes me in a way. (going by my signature - although I fall between the two types I think)

Yeah but the FBI has also used lie detector tests and other things of ... questionable... help. I know the reliability of this stuff has been questioned pretty hard.

Wikipedia is damning and reflects serious controversy:

Graphology is the pseudoscientific[1][2] study and analysis of handwriting, especially in relation to human psychology. In the medical field, the word can be used to refer to the study of handwriting as an aid in diagnosis and tracking of diseases of the brain and nervous system. The term is sometimes incorrectly used to refer to forensic document examination.

Graphology has been controversial for more than a century. Although supporters point to the anecdotal evidence of thousands of positive testimonials as a reason to use it for personality evaluation, most empirical studies fail to show the validity claimed by its supporters.[3][4]

Kind of skeptical of this, reads like more of a horoscope than actual forensic research.

Yeah, that  is my impression of it also. Not that people can't have fun with it, but I'd hate for people to make serious judgements based on it.

Well, I can tell you something that is absolutely true......    I'd rather people who freak out over mis spelled words not even read my posts..   Especially while I'm having to type two fingered.  CAPS are a pain in the patoot.

I type two fingered all the time.(I also have to rest my right arm on the desk because of an old shoulder injury, so much so that my elbow is sometimes tender at the end of a day). It is how I taught myself. Wrong I know. But it is what it is, and I have managed to type massive reports, law reviews, etc. Using two fingers.

I take the time to check spelling, grammar, and punctuation in consideration of those who may be reading what I say.

Huge slabs of text, that lie like a brick on the page, are very unappealing to me. I generally scan read them for moderating purposes. If I wanted to read War and Peace I would go buy it  :cool2:

My father was the fastest hunter and pecker in the world. He could type faster than alot of people who do not look at the keyboard. And he wrote two books.

Fit 90% Of The Profile Of Serial Killers 40% Of The Time....

OK ok...all kidding aside, my dad was an undercover detective and also with Canada's famous RCMP prior to that and they used all kinds of things to spot the person who

seemed out of place or up to no good.

This is not TSA stuff...this was long before that when you actually had to know something and didn't get to grope everyone and rummage through their personal belongings

just because you can.

Faces, clothes, shoes, manner and yes even handwriting...all those things are who you are.  If you know how to 'read' people (because that is what it is) many things give away

what kind of person you are dealing with.

Good dectectives (my dad was) develop their intuition through experience and some are better than others.  Back in the day, police actually were given manuals, illustrated, with different

character types and what to look for in a criminal or criminal 'type'.  Of course you cannot do any of that now...but before you all say hogwash, it's not all hogwash any more than a keenly

developed gift of discernment is.

As far as psychics go, they are not all kooks.  Remember the slave girl in the NT...she had psychic abilities.  Of course that side of things is not a gift from God...but it does exist.

Well anyway, think what you will, but while y'all 'sleep tight' someone is out there catching the bad guy and it's not the gang from CSI   ;)

No it's Mr Holmes !

Sherlock Holmes: Are you familiar with the study of graphology?

Professor James Moriarty: I’ve never given it any serious thought, no.

Sherlock Holmes: The psychological analysis of handwriting. The upward strokes on the ‘p’, the ‘j’, the ‘m’, indicate a genius level intellect, while the  flourishes in the lower zone denote a highly creative, yet meticulous nature, but if one observers the overall slant and the pressure of the writing, there’s suggestion of acute narcissism, a complete lack of empathy, and a pronounced inclination toward-

Professor James Moriarty: No.

Sherlock Holmes: Moral insanity.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
